Repeating Time For The Perfect Revenge

Repeating Time For The Perfect Revenge
Chapter 23

I sat there waiting for my other group friends. I occasionally glanced towards the clock that was coiled around my left wrist. But no one came. None of them came.

It's just me and Giovano in the living room. The man was busy with his cell phone.

“The others have not come?” my many.

Giovano, who was busy with his phone, glanced at me. He stopped his activities playing cell phones.

“Try asking them,” said.

“I don't have their contacts.”

The man gawked. He looked at me in disbelief, as if what I said was something strange.

“Cok can you not have your own contact? Don't tell me you didn't even join the class chat group?”

I just kept staring at him. I took my phone that I had put on the table. I'm looking for the force chat group that Giovano is referring to.

“There turned out,” I said when I found a chat group containing my classmates.

The man was rattled.

“That's why you didn't know there was a group? Don't tell me you never even checked it?!”

I ignored Giovano's question and sent a message to my group of friends. But I only get uncertainty. In the end the group work activities that we had planned beforehand had to be cancelled.

I immediately tidied up my luggage and got ready to go home. Not to forget, I also contacted Timothee to have her pick me up as she promised.

“Away home?” ask Giovano.

“Iya.”

“You can drive?” haggle over that man.

“Not necessary. My fiance will pick me up.”

The man laughed blandly. He crossed both arms in front of his chest.

“You've rarely played with me since you got engaged.”

I frowned and looked at the man. I gave him a look of wonder. He and I were friends, pretty close, but the guy never made it to my priority. I also have no obligation to always accompany him to play at all times.

“You seem strange after breaking up with your boyfriend yesterday. Find another girlfriend there! You said a lot of people want to be with you.”

I was about to walk out of the man's house, but Giovano got in my way. I wanted to get through it, but it kept following me. It really troubled me who wanted to go home soon.

“How about you? You don't want to?” tanyakanya.

The first reaction I let out was an expression of disbelief and amused by what the man had just said. I don't even care if he's offended or not by my reaction just now.

“You're crazy? I can't possibly want to. I'm not interested in you and your jokes. Anyway, I already have a fiancee.”

“What if you don't have a fiancee?” ask again.

I laughed blandly at her question. That was the craziest question he ever asked me. I never even imagined that man would ask me such a question.

“No. Still no. I'm not interested in you. Even if you were the only man left on this earth, I wouldn't want to. Just cut your joke!”

I shifted her body with all my might, then walked past her. I didn't pay much attention to what expression he showed when I said that.

Facing a man like Timothee alone was enough to trouble me. Moreover, I have to deal with a man like him.

“He seems to be really sick now,” my mumbling while shaking my head.

***

“You really want to go straight home after this?” timothee asked without glancing at me at all.

The man was driving his car to drive me home from Giovano's house.

“Iya,” answer.

“You don't want to spend more time with me? Maybe just shop or shop? Or watch maybe?” bargained for.

It didn't take much consideration, it didn't even need to consider his offer at all. I immediately rejected it. As much as possible I limit my meetings with him other than when he wants to take me away or pick me up.

“No. I'm too tired today. Too many things happen in one day. I want to meet my bed soon and rest.”

The man just nodded his head understanding.

“It's not because you don't want to get closer to me is it? All this time, apart from driving you away and home, we never met and left together.”

I just laughed, but I didn't want to answer. I want to let him be even more agitated at this moment. But I don't want to blatantly offend her like last time. I am aware that although he is not the heir of the JJ Group, his status as a child of the Jordan family makes his wish one of the considerations of his parents' decision. No wonder they pulled out all the investments they had planted in my father's company when I mentioned them.

There was no further conversation between me and Timothee afterwards. I was just speechless staring out the window, while Timothee was silent while watching the road in front of him as well as busy wrestling with his own thoughts.

Sometimes he shows agitated movements. I just smiled faintly at her anxiety.

‘I haven't even started it yet, but you've been like this, my inner’.

Drr... Drr...

A message came into my phone. The name Alexander is there. I'll open it immediately.

‘From Alexander:

Youre right. Anyway, I'll keep coming back to you.’

I smiled at the short message the man sent me. It seemed that something bad had happened between him and his fiancee. Something truly unforgivable and breaks their engagement.

‘Kan told you before. But of course now won't be easy for you, my inner’.

“Who?” ask Timothee.

“Only mobile operators,” I replied lying.

The man glanced at me with a sharp look full of suspicion. But I ignored it. I'd rather pay attention to the path we're going through than straighten out the misunderstandings that are in his head right now.

I lowered my head in laughter as I heard a frustrated sigh from him. I raised my face again when I finished setting my expression so that he would not be offended.

There was only silence between us until I arrived at my house. I thanked him and got out of the car. He really seemed to be the driver who was driving me anywhere at the moment. There was no romance between us because I was trying to deny everything.

“I will not foolishly fall in love with you again like before,” I said as I stared at Timothee's car which was away from my house and lost on the corner of the road.

The man left with a lot of restlessness clearly visible on the look on his face.
