Reasons Not Based

Starting at noon, Kana who was still standing beside Karma now gave her greetings to her guests who were also her acquaintances.

His face was still pale but he tried to smile, sitting on the sofa of the living room. Ichigo and Gotanda ask Kana and join in mourning the passing of Arima Akino. With a few other questions, Kana finally decided to take a break.

"Let's get ready, tonight we'll go back to Tokyo." Ichigo gave the information. "Because you guys are busy, so better get ready from now on."

"Do I have a schedule tomorrow?" aqua asked Miyako who was sitting not far from her.

"Tomorrow there's an interview with the radio. And after the action movie some time ago, you're gonna be busy." Miyako replied with a reminiscent tone.

"I'm going up for a minute." Aqua got up from her chair to the top floor.

Suddenly remembered Kana's question to her last night, "What if I liked you we could be together? Do you want to live with me here and leave Ruby in Tokyo?"

The question disturbed him. He couldn't bring Kana to Tokyo because he was still sick. If you can choose, Aqua wants to stay here to take care of Kana until she recovers and asks her to come to Tokyo with her. But his business is solid. Karma approached Kana who was sitting on her bed with a reddened face.

"No, if it's not with me." Karma looked Kana in the eyes seriously. "I could have killed someone who hurt you with my abilities. But, because you threatened me earlier. So, I'm according. Now you're the one who's gonna obey me."

"I can live alone! Since my teens I've been living alone in Tokyo! I can do that!" refute Kana with a higher tone. "I want to be here!"

"Yes for now it doesn't matter, until you're cured. Then we move to Tokyo..." Karma stepped towards the door of the room. "We're in Tokyo only until you get married. Dad's will is done there."

"If I'm not married, how?" ask Kana.

"If you're not married, then I don't need to be married either." Karma answered with a hand reaching for the door knob.

He noticed Aqua in front of the room, smiling without even intending to get out of Cana's room.

"You must marry! I don't care if you get married! Don't wait for me!" exclaiming Kana.

"You love Aqua, and vice versa. I also know you guys have kissed. You must have asked her to look at your memory, right? You've done that far, but you know Aqua still keeps asking me about you. How hard he tries to forget you will still be difficult for him. Do you have to keep cutting the threads that will fuse again?" asked Karma while glancing at the nearby Aqua.

"I just don't want any heart to hurt." Kana lowered her head, this time again just an unfounded excuse.

"Just like this, more hearts are hurting!" karma sounds louder than ever before. "I'm not good at romance, but I don't understand how you think. It's obvious you love her."

Karma stepped out of Kana's room, she raised her eyebrows looking at Aqua. Stand near him.

"You heard that, didn't you? If you stop and don't expect him anymore, I don't have a problem" Karma said. "I just feel all your struggles that feel futile."

Aqua simply smiled, she heard all their conversations clearly. It hurts, but somehow Aqua feels happy. Because Kana is going to stay in Tokyo and that can keep her from meeting Kana every day. Now Aqua is convinced that Kana likes her.

"Yes, no problem. You don't have to worry about him. There are a lot of things I need to finish here." Karma steps ahead of Aqua.

Instead of entering Kana's room, Aqua returned to the living room to meet the others with Karma. He approaches Mem to help Kana compress the bruise on the girl's back. Mem and the other women went to Kana's room on the second floor.

"Kana-chan!" greet Mem with a cheerful face. "Let's clean up!"

"You guys..." Kana replied with a faint smile. "I haven't had a shower since yesterday. So, I'll take a shower myself."

"We'll be home tonight." Miyako responded while opening Kana's room window. "We'll help you clean your body. No need to hide." Miyako continued with a smile.

Ruby and Akane approach Kana with a wet towel, ice gel and a change of clothes. Kana refuses, but Akane quickly shows a hostile face to Kana.

"Senpai.." call Ruby when she sees Kana's bruised back. "It's..." As if choked, Ruby could not continue her sentence. His hand gently pressed the ice gel against Kana's back.

"Hehe..." Kana chuckles softly. "It's ugly, huh?" Kana scratched her head that was not itching. "The stitches are very long, and the marks are not lost either. Four years ago it didn't leave my body."

Akane immediately hugged Kana from behind. He could not believe the events of four years ago had a mark that long on the back of one of his idols. And now his back was bruised and swollen, looking even more heartbreaking.

"Kana-chan is still the prettiest!" akane tried to hold back her cries. "You're too strong, I can't be like you..."

Recognizing Kana's rock-like mental strength, Akane continues to idolize Kana despite frequent arguments. Since childhood Kana has been hit by many extraordinary events that make her mature before her time. Plus he was a murder victim and yesterday a abuse victim. If it was him, maybe he would try to kill himself a second time.

"Let's wash it with another wet towel!" frill who realized Akane was crying.

After cleansing Kana's body and helping to change her clothes. They came out one by one from Kana's room. Mem becomes the last person to come out of Kana's room. He continued to look at the more silent Cana with the look of his eyes as if far away.

"Kana-chan's..." Mem called Kana after everyone left. He sat in Kana's bed.

"Aren't you ready to go home?" asked Kana with a faint smile.

Mem felt a hopeless look of despair from the look in Kana's eyes. Painful to see.

Thin smile back Kana gave, her hand grabbed Mem's fingers. "I just miss my dad, Mem. I feel like something's been missing since last night. Ever since, I've seen her, but I can't call her."

"Kana-chan's..." Mem is getting worried. Kana's warm hands and Kana's thin smile, make Mem want to cry. "You don't have to smile to cover your sadness."

Kana laughed softly. "Just with a smile, I can become stronger even if only a little. So, you also have to smile to strengthen me."

Now that Mem hugged Kana, Kana's small body felt very fragile. Plus his high body temperature. Mem did not know if Kana who often said rude and pessimistic is so strong and great.

"Thank you, Mem.." whispered Kana.

"Well always... I'm going home..." Smiling strengthened Kana.
