Girls with Lollipop Candy

Mika is only curled up on the sofa and bed during the holidays this time. There's no busyness. Anggita and Raya are on vacation with their families. Her parents are still busy working. After the completion of Nagra's case, his father decided to move to a branch office closer to their home. So they can get together every day. At once, repair a relationship that had been fractured.

Mika does not know, what the definition of happiness really is. However, he knows that happiness has many forms. One of them is returning a place called family.

The voice of the female presenter on television distracts Mika from the novel she is reading. A headline featured Beni's house which she came to that day. The house looks empty. Around it was a police line. Mika raised the volume of the sound.

Purnomo Wiraatmaja, a wealthy businessman who has been poor in the business world, early this morning was appointed as a suspect in cases of embezzlement and bribery. Purnomo allegedly fled out of town with his family. To date, the police are still investigating.

Purnomo Wiraatmaja reportedly bribed police officers for alleged murder by his only child, Ferdian Beni Wiraatmaja. One of the witnesses has given testimony and strong evidence for the murder. Police are still trying to investigate the case, and are examining the relevant parties.

Mika dumbfounded. The novel in his hand had even fallen since a moment ago. His gaze had not switched from television screen, until the news was complete. His head was still twisting all sorts of conjectures and news that he had gotten today. Until finally, he came to a conclusion. That day, the police deliberately stopped the investigation into Nagra's death and gave an explanation that the man committed suicide because of the actions of the Beni family. Damnit. He felt awkward about that decision. Apparently, the Wiraatmaja family is the mastermind of it all. And the most unfortunate thing is, he is currently attending one of the Wiraatmaja family-owned schools.

The clink of the house bell jolts Mika's consciousness. He looked half confused by the situation that had just happened. After a few seconds, he got out of the chair. He tidied his hair with his hands, before opening the door.

He was shocked when he found Raga standing in front of his house. That guy's not wearing a school uniform. However, use a black jacket, hat, and backpack on the back.

Mika frowned. “Where are you going?”

Little smiling dragon. His hands stretched out to lock Mika's fingers in his grasp. “I'm sorry. All this time, I've been wrong about you. I was too drowning in revenge. I was consumed by Beni's words, to put you as someone who has to bear everything.” Raga was silent for a moment. Her eyes were on Mika. The look was deep. Very deep. To make Mika feel bad. “Actually, I want to go quietly. But they, tell me to make a farewell to you.” Raga glanced at Kai, Anggita, and Raya behind the guy. “I want to go abroad. The National Exam is over. I want to find college information there.”

“Why sudden?” Mika lost her voice.

Raga shook her head, with a small smile. “Actually, this is not sudden. My family and I have been doing this for two months. All right, papa wants to find the best psychiatrist for Alana there.” Raga took a long breath. “Sorry to me yes, Ka. Sorry for making your life a mess. I'm sorry, because I've got ego. Sorry for everything."

Mika did not know, since when the tears shed on her cheeks. He had even sobbed when Raga finished her sentence. The guy pulled him in a trap. Not long, but enough to make Mika have trouble breathing. As bad as any memories he had, Raga was still someone who had accompanied him in difficult times. And, letting go is not something easy. Whatever the reason.

“I'm here also want to see you happy with someone.” Mika flinched hearing that sentence. Raga glanced at Kai. Gesticulating the guy to get closer.

“Review if you get sick of him. I won't hesitate to really let you know,” whispered Raga, which made Kai chuckle.

Raga retreated slowly, giving Kai some space to get closer to Mika. Mika wanted to ask her next question, but Kai first shut his mouth.

“Not much to ask. Just dengerin!” said. Then, he took out a lollipop from his pocket. Mika frowned, confused. However, he ends up accepting the candy because Kai keeps pushy.

"Thank you, Ka. That day I gave her candy. I finally know that being happy is not just something big. Thanks for letting me play football with Nagra. Thank you, too, for throwing stones at me. Apparently, it has made me want to continue the same. Same little girls who messed up, but managed to make my life better."

"So, that little girl you mean it–"

Kai nodded, cutting off Mika's words. "Yes, she's Mika Arestya. You may have forgotten, but I didn't. You never let me down that day. The day my parents threw me away. From that day on, I promised that I would never let you go again. Whatever happens. I promise myself, same Nagra, that I will keep you. Therefore, I want to ask you again. You want to be my girlfriend?”

Mika gelagapan's. He opened his mouth, then closed. Open again, then close again. So keep up to three times. It seems like he lost his voice. Blood rustling. His heart is beating ungodly. He did not even know if he was still on the same ground.

“Ka? Lo hear me?” Mika simply nodded in response to that question. However, consciousness has not yet fully returned.

“Kai, a–aku..” Mika is at a loss for words.

“If you refuse, I promise I won't bother you again. I'll go, if you want it.”

“Ngak!” hatch Mika, hurry. “I want. I want to be your girlfriend.”

Kai laughed a little. Then, he turned to his three friends behind, gesturing with his thumb out. Raya, Anggita, and Raga cheered. They ran over to Mika and Kai.

“Before they get here. Cave want to hug you first.” Kai pulled Mika into his hand summary. It feels very comfortable. “Thank you for coming that day. Thank you, for telling me what it means to fight and wait. I love you.”

Mika smiles. Her happiness really felt complete this time. He turned his eyes to Kai. At that place, he seemed to see Nagra waving and smiling at him.

“Goodbye, Brother Nagra. Mika promise will be happy here.”
