RAINBOW FOR HURRICANE HANS

RAINBOW FOR HURRICANE HANS
I'M SORRY MAS (END)

Before we actually left the place, I gave a little blessing to some of my mother's neighbors while here. Although not much I hope it can help their economy a little.

On the afternoon we stopped at a shopping center, I and bi Asih bought some pieces of clothing for mother, mas Hans and bi Asih.

We then continued our journey to the house of Sham. Our arrival was greeted by Mr. Yos and Tasya, they were seen shedding tears when Ms. Dita came out of the car belonging to Sham.

Frans carried her mother inside the house, while Claudy and I picked up Hans.

I took Hans to the room for us to clean and change his clothes, while Frans also brought Dita's mother to the room for us to change her clothes.

''Bi Asih, aunty take a bath first eat''

''Both ma''

''Mandi here bi'' said I when I saw bi Asih about to go out the room looking for a bathroom.

''He ma'am''

''Brother Frans, can you help Hans take a shower? I'll help mommy to take a shower. There's a dress for Hans in the white paper bag''

''It's deck, I'll take Hans to the room''

Frans brought Hans to his room while Claudy and I helped Dita to take a bath after the bath.

''Come on mom, we take a shower first after that mom eat and rest later I'll call the doctor to check the health condition of mom''

I helped Claudy lead Dita's mother into the bathroom, followed by Asih carrying a plastic chair for the mother's seat.

''I'm sorry mommy son has been troubling you'' said Ms. Dita as I started bathing her.

''What did mom say? I did not feel at all bothered by mother, instead I was very grateful to be able to meet mother again''

After bathing Ms. Dita, I helped her put on her clothes before we got out of the bathroom.

''Grandpa, is it done?'' Ask brother Nilam.

''It's kak''

Brother Nilam went into the bathroom and then helped me get Miss Dita out of the bathroom, then sat her on the bed.

''Where is the Asih?''

''Bi Asih already ate with Hans deck, come on ma'am, mother should also eat''

''Sister Anggi is his wheelchair'' said Tasya who entered the room while pushing a wheelchair.

I helped Ms. Dita sit in a wheelchair and pushed her towards the dining table. Bu Dita, mas Hans and bi Asih then ate together at a meal accompanied by me and Frans.

After lunch I allowed the three to rest first before I called the doctor to check on them.

In the afternoon around 3 o'clock, the doctor came and checked their condition. Praise God all three are fine, only Hans has a little trouble with his memory.

We stayed at the Sham house for about 2 weeks, I made sure that the state of Dita ma'am was able to travel far then we decided to go home.

For Hans own mas I decided to do treatment at the hospital in the city where I live.

Many of the stories I heard from Dita and bi Asih included the plans of the late sister Lia for me and Claudy. Also, the cause of my son's death was not an accident, but it was planned.

After a long journey we finally arrived home safely. Om Jordi, Miss Dewi and brother Roni were already on the terrace of the house when our car entered the yard. A happy smile emanated clearly on the faces of the three welcoming our return.

Om Jordi approached Frans and helped him drop Dita's mother off the car, while Claudy and I led Hans into the house.

Bu Dewi himself took over the baby Queen from the sling Nilam and brought her into the house followed by Nilam with a bag containing baby Queen equipment.

"It's nice to see you guys are back" said Miss Dewi.

"Yes mom, I'm also happy to finally be back with my mom and Hans" I said.

I brought Dita's mother to rest in the room I had prepared for her, while Hans slept while in the guest room, before it will be taken by a doctor to be treated so that his health quickly recovered.

At about 10am an ambulance arrived in the courtyard, rushing me to open the door and allowing the doctors and nurses to enter the house. They came to pick up Hans to be taken to the hospital so that proper treatment can be done so that his memory can slowly return.

There was no heart to see Hans being taken away by the doctor but my little heart said that this was all for good. Ms. Dita and Claudy even shed tears as mas hans was taken away by the nurse.

"Please treat my father until he recovers, doctor" said Claudy with teary eyes.

"He wants the doctor to try but don't forget to pray for you" said Fair Doctor.

After the ambulance that was carrying Hans disappeared from my sight and the others entered the house.

"Well, we can look at you, right?" Claudy asked as we sat in the living room.

'' Of course, honey, while not interfering with papa's treatment we can meet papa"

After several months of hospital treatment, Hans finally began to remember what happened slowly. Claudy and I visit him two to three times a week.

Every time we visited him, Hans would always apologize to me as well as to Claudy. Although we have often said that we have forgiven him, but still he always apologizes if we visit him.

We feel happy when we know the health development of mas Hans who continues to improve until a time when bad news comes to approach and make the house that had been full of laughter turned gloomy with a crying voice in the every angle.

This morning as usual, I did my usual activities, dropping off Claudy at school and controlling the company. While sitting in my study, I got word that Hans was in an accident, he fell and hit his head.

I immediately headed to the hospital where Hans was treated, upon arrival there I saw that Dita and Frans' brother were already there.

"How are you doing Hans Bu?"

"We don't know yet, son, the doctor's still checking"

We waited anxiously in front of Hans's treatment room.

Chequek..

"How is my son's condition doctor?"

"I'm sorry ma'am, we've done as well as we can but God wills otherwise"

"Doctor meant.., there's no way that Dr. Hans's doctor must be okay" my tears fell without me holding back, my legs felt limp even to pinch I couldn't. How will I pass this news to Claudy, how will he be strong to accept all of this.

''Strengthen your heart, son, do not be weak like this. Remember there's still your daughter who needs your affection and attention''

''Frans, pick up your bangs but tell her slowly lest she be shocked''

''Yes mah''

''Mama will take care of everything here''

''I'll pick up Claudy ma'am, Frans' brother stay here with mama''

''No son, I will not let you go in this situation''

After the departure of Frans, Dita immediately took care of everything that needed to be completed before we brought Hans mas home.

I myself entered the room where Hans was, I looked closely at his face. Without feeling the clear circles slowly began to fall, some nurses in the room look still busy releasing all medical devices that are still attached to the body mas Hans.

''I'm sorry mas'' that's the only word I can say. My voice stuck in my throat only tears kept flowing, after all the medical devices had slipped from Hans' body, I immediately hugged him and cried as hard as I could.

I held the hand of Hans who was already feeling cold ''mas you are happy with our son there, say my greetings to him'' said I even though I knew he would not be able to hear it again. Long enough I cried even I was not aware of the presence of Miss Dita and some nurses.

''Son, let's take Hans home'' said Ms. Dita patted me on the shoulder, I know he was the one who was the most sad because of Hans' departure but he tried hard in front of me.

''Yes ma'am''

''Claudy is home'' said Ms. Dita who was able to keep me glued to the spot for what I had to say to my daughter. Only a few months he was happy with his father but God separated them again.

Riding in the hospital's car, we brought Hans' body home. Along the way I continued to notice the look on Dita's face, looking firm but the look in her eyes showed a very deep pain.

When the car turned into the residential gate I tried to wipe away the tears that kept running down my cheeks. I don't want Claudy to see me in this state, I have to be strong in order to strengthen Claudy. Slowly but surely the car entered the courtyard of the house where several people were preparing tents and chairs.

Frans stood on the terrace holding Queen while Nilam's brother stood while hugging Claudy. Hans' body was taken down and brought in one room to bathe.

''Mama'' said Claudy with her eyes moist and reddened, I know she had been crying since. The tears that I was trying to hold back, I couldn't stand it anymore when Claudy hugged me and cried sobbing in my arms.

''Don't cry mah, papa is happy with brother there, if mama cries they will be sad to see mama'' said Claudy.

I don't know how he could say that when he was so sad, I didn't know what to say.

I went in and sat on the couch with Claudy and Nilam, while Frans was putting Queen to bed.

After Hans was bathed, he was taken to Claudy's room.

''Why was Hans taken to Claudy's room?'' I asked Nilam's brother.

''Audy hasn't told me?'' Ask Nilam to look at Claudy.

''What story, brother? Audrey?''

When Claudy wanted to answer Frans came and called us both.

''Audy let's take mom too''

Confusedly I followed Frans and Claudy, arriving at the room, Hans' stiff body was laid out on a small mattress beside Claudy's bed.

''Let's get some clothes for papa'' said Frans.

Claudy took a box from her wardrobe, when it was opened to her was a pair of shoes, white majesty, long pants and a gray silver suit as well as a bunch of flowers and a letter. Brother Frans gave me the letter ''this is yours deck'' he said.

I received the letter with trembling hands, could it be that I would get a letter like when Robin's brother left? Do I have to lose first to get a letter?

''Mah, let's put papa's clothes on. When Audy looks at papa, papa says that if papa goes papa wants the people who papa loves and papa loves to wear the last clothes for papa'' he said calmly.

I looked at Frans and he nodded, after putting on Hans's clothes we were asked to come out because some people would lift Hans' stiff body to be placed in the living room.

We prayed at night to pray for Hans, so many mourners who came even strangers I had never met and knew so much, they were colleagues of Hans while still working in the company first.

Just two days while Hans was at home, he told his daughter that when he died he did not want to linger in the house he wanted to rest in his new home immediately.

On the day of Hans's funeral, I just found out that the place where my son was buried was a special funeral for Hans's family. So many people have ushered in the last of his rest.

'So many people love you my inner self.

A few years passed since the departure of Hans, Dita also went in because of the asthma that he suffered. The letter Frans gave me on the day of Hans's death I have never read, not that I don't want to read it just that I can't guarantee myself if I'm going to be strong if I read the letter, even though I don't know what the letter is.

Claudy had finished her education until graduation and earned a doctor's degree, I am grateful that he was able to finish his education well even though in the first and second years after the departure of his father he was so devoid of the spirit of life.

Queen herself has 6th grade elementary school, Frans and Nilam sister built a grocery store and a clothing store in their new home, her house is only 2 houses away from my house.

Brother Roni is married and lives in the windmill country together with his wife who is a native of the country. While sister Nisa is now also married and lives in brother Roni's house beside my house, she already has triplets, two boys and one girl.
