The fourth day after Bram's funeral, we decided to go look for Hans' mother and father to the place Soni had told me, the person I paid to find them.
Ms. Desi, Sintia, Rivaldi and Piter had returned to the northern part of the island two days after the funeral of om Bram.
Early in the morning we woke up because of the distance we had to travel to get to the place where mas Hans and bu Dita lived quite far away, approximately 8 hours drive because the place is in another district.
Brother Frans and sister Nilam prepared all the baby Queen needs while on the road, while me and Claudy prepared provisions for our lunch later.
''Are you ready, brother?'' I asked Nilam's brother who came out of the room carrying Claudy.
''Already deck, After breakfast we leave''
We sat at the dinner table enjoying breakfast while the baby Queen fell asleep on the rattan swing next to the dining room.
''Eat a lot of children, our journey is quite far''
''Yes mah''
''Would it be okay if the baby Queen came?''
''No deck, anyways I also want to see my mother-in-law soon. Hopefully Queen won't fuss''
''If brother is tired we can take turns holding Queen'', I said.
After enjoying breakfast, we took a short break before we left. We chose to use one of the buses in the company so that the baby Queen can freely sleep and also so that Nilam's leg can lie down if she is breastfeeding. The bus we use is indeed in a special design so that the chair can be turned into a bed complete with pillows and blankets.
We left at about 8 am, slowly the bus walked down the city streets to the village streets. Our journey through the city road to the south then entered the road where the side of the road is a pine forest, passing through several villages, cities and so on. There are several districts that we have to pass to get to the district where bu Dita, bi Asih and mas Hans are located.
About 5 hours drive, we decided to stop for lunch. If there are no obstacles, there are 2 more districts then we will arrive at our destination.
''Sir Yos, let's have lunch first''
''Ma'am, I'll eat here''
''Just eat here sir, we have made a lot of provisions for all of us. Brother Nilam eat first let me take care of Queen''
''You don't eat deck?''
''Let me eat brother, brother eat first''
''Mate eat also let me take care of the baby Queen''' said Claudy.
''What do you want to eat?''
''I am still full of mah''
''Who?''
''Yes mah''
''Gimana ngak full deck, along the way he continues to snack with his uncle'' said Nilam.
Claudy and Frans could only chuckle softly.
''Are you really not hungry? We won't eat again later''
''I'm still full, if I'm hungry, I'll eat again in the car. Yes, ngak om? hehehe''
''Sir Yos ate with us here'' said I gave him a plate and a spoon, I don't want any difference between us.
We enjoyed lunch voraciously, perhaps because we were tired in the course of the food we brought was gone.
After lunch and a short break we continued the journey, in the middle of the journey the rain fell so heavy that some of the roads we went through were inundated with water.
''We went the other way, ma'am or what? It was a little far away, but there was no stagnation. If we wait here maybe tomorrow we can continue bu''' said Mr. Yos.
''Where good sir, we go the way you mean''
''Both ma''
The car rotates towards the road intended by Mr. Yos, quite far indeed if passing this road because the road is winding but there is no choice other than this road. After 2 more hours passing the winding road we finally returned to the main road and stayed another 50 kilometers we will reach the city on the way.
Because the day has begun to twilight as a result the road is very crowded with vehicles. Macetpun inevitable, because hours like this is the time for people to go home from work and the district we occupy today is an industrial center where there are many factories.
''Macet ma''
''It's okay sir slow down. Are you tired?''
''Actually I am a bit sleepy ma'am' said Mr. Yos timidly.
''Then you just rest let me replace'' said Frans.
''He sir, I'll just rest''
''Well ma'am, thank you sir''
''Sama-sama sir, yes have rest there sir there is a pillow there''
''Grandpa, tonight we stay at the house of my brother's friend first yes, tomorrow we look for mother and Hans''
''Yes, sister, we are also Queen if we look for mother'''s night''
Trings...
Trings...
I heard a cell phone coming from Frans' pocket.
''Grandfather pick up the phone first huh''
I nodded, Frans pulled the car over and raised the incoming call.
''Hello good afternoon''
''......''
''Yes we are still on our way, is there a place?''
''......''
''Ok maybe in 30 minutes we arrive''
''.....''
''All right, thank you''
''Who's brother?''
''Brother's friend said the house for us is ready''
''Thank God, brother''
Our car went slowly until we did not feel we had arrived at Frans' friend's house. Brother Frans honked the car horn and soon someone opened the gate.
The house we were going to occupy overnight was quite large like the owner was not an ordinary person.
''Hello bro, come on in''
''Alright, I wake the one in the car first''
''Ok''
I looked at my friend Frans, I felt his face felt familiar to me. Because I don't want to be curious, I dare to ask.
''I'm sorry are you Ronal Syam?''
''Really, sorry you know me?''
''It looks like he, introduce my name Rainbow Wiandra''
Instantly his eyes were rounded with a gaping mouth, looking funny to me. His expression while shocked was still the same as when he was a child.
''This is Anggi's brother?''
''Yes Sham this is brother''
He immediately rushed to hug me and cried, before long Frans' brother came to us.
''Eh..eheh.gapain loh hugs my sister used to cry again'' said Frans.
''Dyos... Tasya..'' said Syam half yelled calling his sisters do not care about the talk of Frans.
Before long both of them came but they did not seem to remember me because at that time they were small even Dyo was a baby.
''This is dear'' said Syam.
''What's up, brother?'' Ask Dyo.
''He said he misses Anggi's brother?''
''Brother, we miss Anggi's brother, but where are we now?'' tasya said with a sad face.
''Don't be sad, Aca, Anggi's brother has come, '' said I who made the two look surprised.
''Kakak Anggi'' said the two simultaneously.
''Yes, this is my brother, do you not miss?''
''Sister'' both hugged me.
Syam, Dyo and Tasya are street children that I used to take to the orphanage and I paid for her needs and education. At that time I found them on the street in the rain. Syam who was 7 years old at the time, Tasya 3 years and Dyo was still 2 months asleep in a store. I met them when I came home shopping for the necessities for the orphanage and I took them home.
From the story of Sham they were dumped by the father and stepmother, while the mother had died while giving birth to Dyo. It was unfortunate their fate at that time and thank goodness that this time their lives could be much better.
