You're Fired

This time, it wasn't just Rainer who was shocked to hear the mother's question. However, Nayra also felt the same. 

"What do you mean, Mama?" Rainer looked at his mother's face with a frown.

"Cckk. Still asking what Mama meant. Mama wants to ask what did you mean to bring Nayra here? Didn't you not want to join your Papa?"

Rainer looked confused and misbehaved. "Ehm, i-it…," 

"That's what? You definitely can't answer why you suddenly brought Nayra here, right? You must be upset and angry when you see Nayra dancing with other men."

"Mama before boarding had seen Nayra go down to the dance floor with a man. And, I'm sure you'll also see it from the VIP room. Right, right?"

Again Rainer was quite surprised by what the mother said. He really did not expect that his mother could guess correctly what happened and felt.

"Ma...," Rainer was getting confused. Now, the grip of his hand on Nayra's hand is getting stronger.

"What's? What else do you want to avoid? Still want to deny if you're not jealous?" Mama Rainer looked at her son's face with a glimmer.

"Ma, it's not like that." Rainer still insisted on not acknowledging what he felt.

Hearing the son who was still in denial, mama Rainer really felt annoyed. Next, mama Rainer stared fixedly at the faces of the two people in front of him before returning to voice.

"alright. Mama won't force you to answer Mama's questions, Rain. However, this time Mama wants to affirm something to you, Nay." Mama Rainer turned towards Nayra. Of course it makes the heart of Nayra kebit kebit.

As long as Nayra knew Rainer's parents, never once had Nayra found such a sharp glare back then. Nayra's guts are really squeaky. He was worried that he was disappointing people who were already kind to him. 

Both of Nayra's eyes had started to glaze over. He didn't even realize that his body was now getting attached to Rainer.

"Who was that man? Is he your lover?" ask mama Rainer.

Nayra quickly shook her head. "Bu-no, Mistress. We even knew him a while ago. And, even then, we accidentally met."

Mama Rainer's knuckles are wrinkled. Not that he did not believe Nayra's words, but he had seen Nayra's familiarity with Aaron. Mama Rainer thinks that there is something between Nayra and Aaron when viewed from the interaction of the two.

"You sure there's nothing to do with that guy, Nay?" Mama Rainer reiterated.

"Yes, Madam. We have nothing to do." Nayra replied still with a tense expression.

After hearing Nayra's words, mama Rainer stared fixedly at Nayra's face while making a sound again.

"Hhmm, okay. Well then, from now on, you I fire as Rainer's secretary."

Duaarrr.

Like being struck by lightning, Nayra's body seemed limp boneless when she heard mama Rainer's words. He did not expect that today was the last day he worked at Rainer's company.

Nayra's mind had already begun to wander into the future. His lonely life, as well as the difficulty of finding a job, made Nayra suddenly feel dizzy.

The same is true for Rainer. He did not expect that his mother would fire Nayra.
