He's Not Turning

Glug. 

Nayra immediately swallowed her saliva hard. He was really surprised when he heard the words of his friend. He even went silent without knowing what to say. 

Meanwhile, Linda, who still had not heard the answer from Nayra, asked again.

"Nay, are you still there?"

It just makes Nayra flutter. "Eh, I-yes, Lin."

"What are you doing again? Daydreaming?"

"Eh, no, no."

I heard a breath from across there. It seems, Linda did not believe just like that with the answer from Nayra. He was already too familiar with Nayra's behavior. However, Linda did not have time to make a sound again, a voice heard someone calling her name. Inevitably Linda immediately ended the phone call.

Linda also promised to contact him later at lunch. And, of course, Nayra can only resign to say the words of her best friend.

After turning off the phone call, Nayra went back to daydreaming. He was still thinking about what his best friend said.

"Is it true what Linda said? What if everything Linda said was true?" muttered Nayra while biting her lower lip.

Instantly Nayra felt goosebumps. He imagined what would happen if Rainer really did something like that? 

"Gosh, I can't imagine how crumbling I'll be. Not anything I can imagine how it would be 'my information'. Moreover, that water gun Mas Rain was completely beyond reason and its length," Nayra said as she scooped her face violently.

Until a while later, Resta's phone call returned to disperse Nayra's daydreams. Luckily Nayra was able to shift her mind because there were things she really had to do.

By lunchtime, Nayra's mind was again troubled as Linda contacted her again. Apparently, Linda is still not satisfied with the question that has not been answered by her best friend.

"Hallo," said Nayra as soon as the phone call was connected.

"Call, Nay. You still owe me that answer." Linda immediately charged Nayra's answer.

Suddenly, Nayra looked confused. He was still confused on how to explain to Linda. However, Nayra did not have time to answer, Linda returned to voice.

"Eh, wait a minute. There's something I want to tell you." Linda interrupted Nayra who wanted to explain something.

"Eh, what's wrong?"

"So I went to the creative section to hand over the draft from the Boss. And, I was quite surprised when I heard Daniar talking about it about a week ago, seeing Mr. Rain and Mr. Felix, his assistant was in KUA."

"Daniar said the two were talking at the wedding registry. There were also two others who were with them. And, you know what Daniar said? He said if it's possible that Mr. Rain will or has already had a wedding" Nayra said.

"Eh, seriously?" Nayra suddenly panicked. I don't know why he's so worried if any of his office mates find out about the wedding news. 

"Yes, seriously. In fact, Daniar was not alone at the time. He's with Gus."

"Gu-Gustian LaLeLa?" 

"Yes, Gustian That Weak Goulash Man."

Nayra just breathed out her heavy breath. I don't know why he was worried. Even so, he still had to go through all of this, right?

"Eh, but Nay, Daniar said, there seems to be something unnatural about what he saw back then."

Nayra frowned confusedly. "unnatural? Meanin?"

"Daniar said he saw Mr. Felix leaning his head against Mr. Rain's shoulder. Is Mr Rain married to Mr Felix? Are they a turning couple, Nay?"

Hearing that, I don't know why Nayra got upset. She felt unacceptable if anyone said her husband was turning. Nayra had seen and felt for herself that her husband was normal and not turning. In fact, Nayra also found out that her husband's 'natural water gun' actually reacted with a touch, let alone his grip and elusannya. 🙄

"Just boy. Mr. Rain did not turn. I've proven it myself" said Nayra a little loudly.

Hearing Nayra's reply, Linda was surprised. "Eh, what does it mean to prove it yourself, Nay? You and Mr. Rain…?"

Nayra realized his words. He bit his lower lip at a loss to answer how. However, Nayra convinced herself to keep explaining it to Linda so that there was no misunderstanding.

"I-it's, actually, um…."

"What is it, Nay? Is there something you're hiding?"

"Nope-no. Actually, I-I'm married to Mr. Rain, not Mr. Felix" Nayra said in the end.

"Did?!"
