Lunch

Felix snorted in annoyance after hearing Rainer's words. 

"Cckk. What the fuck? A wolf bit?" Felix sneered towards Rainer.

Rainer just shrugged his shoulders while refocusing on his laptop screen. Meanwhile, Felix, he recalled the words of Monic, the fiancee yesterday morning.

The flashback

Felix, who had just been jogging in the morning, walked straight back to his apartment unit. He lives in an apartment. Yes, although he is not as rich as Rainer, but Felix has been Rainer's confidant since a few years ago. So, do not ask again how many assets he already has.

For almost two years, Felix occupied the apartment unit. He who went back and forth between Jakarta-Jogja, also already has a simple house in Jogja. The simple one-story house with the type seventy-two, Felix managed to buy after raising money for about a year. And, for the results of his hard work, Felix is really very proud.

Felix's mother has been dead since she was sixteen. The father, meanwhile, is married again and has a new family. In fact, since his father married again, Felix has never been considered a member of his family again. Luckily, Felix still has a grandmother from his late mother who is still healthy until now.

Nearly two years ago, Felix was in a relationship with Maudy Monica. Monic, the call of Felix's lover who is currently his fiancee. 

Actually, the relationship between the two is quite good. In fact, both of them have planned to continue the relationship to a more serious level. Monic's parents have also approved of their relationship. However, for some reason during this one month or so, it seemed like Monic was starting to change.

At first, Felix was unaware of his fiancee's changes. However, after Monic moved to work in a new office, the change began to be felt. Felix and Monic are getting less and less into communication. In fact, to meet Felix had to make an appointment first. 

The highlight was yesterday morning when Felix returned from a morning jog. Unintentionally, he saw a female figure very similar to Monic coming out of the elevator as Felix was about to enter the other elevator. Felix's forehead creased when he saw the footsteps of the woman who seemed to rush into an online taxi.

When Felix wanted to catch up, the elevator door he was riding on was already closed. Inevitably, Felix could only resign. 

As soon as Felix arrived at his apartment unit, he immediately picked up a cell phone and immediately contacted Monic. However, the phone is inactive. Felix also tried to send some messages to Monic, but again could not be sent.

Felix could only give up. He will find out later if his mind is calmer.

After quite examining some of the evidence Felix provided and talking about some affairs, Rainer immediately stood up. He was already feeling quite hungry considering that lunch hour had just passed. 

Quickly, Rainer retrieves his phone to contact Nayra. Until the fourth frequent, the call is connected.

"Hallo, Mom."

"Where have you been?" Rainer's voice sounded straight out. He was a little upset that his phone call was not answered immediately by his wife.

"From your room, Mas. Interfile. What's up?" Nayra tried to answer casually even though in her heart she was grumbling.

Of course Rainer's words make Nayra confused. He had just returned to lunch with his friends. Maybe he'll have lunch again.

Huh, how is this? I just had lunch. If rejected, he'll be a rage. If obeyed, it is also impossible for me to be able to eat lunch again, Inner Nayra.

Rainer who waited for Nayra's answer, immediately snorted annoyed when he did not get a response.

"Nay, did you hear me say what?" Rainer's voice had begun to crank back.

Nayra who was quite shocked, immediately replied in a hurry.

"Eh, listen to me, Mas. But, um, I had lunch just like the others. It's also just back to the office, Mas" replied Nayra while biting her lower lip.

Silence for a moment after Nayra answered Rainer's words. Nayra was was when she did not find the truth from her husband.

Instead of answering, Rainer asked back.

"Your job is done?" ask Rainer then.

"Eh, already. I put it on your desk, Mom." Nayra looked relieved after hearing Rainer's usual words.

"good. Now, pack your things immediately. I'm waiting downstairs. We're home."

Nayra's eyes were perfectly rounded after hearing Rainer's words.

"Eh, pu-home? Tiger what?" Nayra was confused. Because, it's still daytime. Not yet scheduled to go home from the office.

"You're having lunch."

"Want lunch? Then why go home? You can have lunch at the restaurant or in the office cafeteria, Mas. Why should I go home?" 

"Because you ate my lunch."

"Loh."
