It's Sunday.
Sunday is an ordinary day other than because it includes holidays but there are no other privileges. But today, the Williams family dinner and the Alan Family will be held. And this is certainly the most thrilling thing for Kansha and Alan.
Since morning, Kansha has been confused. It was because her mother did all the treatment for her. Starting from the spa, thinsingi to the mascerine. Though this is just a dinner together, but for a Grace Williams this is an important event so she wants her daughter to be well prepared.
Night fell, as promised, the Alan family arrived first. They arrived at a five-star restaurant owned by Williams in the heart of Jakarta. While the Williams have not arrived because apparently they were hit by traffic jams.
Ten minutes later, the Williams family arrived. Once arrived, Andrian immediately apologized for their delay which caused the event to be delayed. Even so Father, mother, Alfin and Alan understand him. They continue to warmly welcome their candidates.
“So, the purpose and purpose of this dinner was held was to discuss the wishes between Alan and Kansha who were planning to get married. To be honest I was surprised once Alan conveyed his intention suddenly even more Alan said that he had proposed to Kansha before and suddenly asked for our blessing.” Zulkifli said, Alan's father's name started the conversation.
“We also heard that. But have you given your blessing?” ask Andrian.
Dad nodded, “We gave our blessing to both of them as Alan's parents.”
“But did you guys know that Kansha has a different belief than Alan? Isn't that a problem?” ask Andrian again.
Hearing Andrian's question, Father and Mother immediately looked at Alan and Kansha. They instantly became tense.
“If I may be honest, I somewhat disagree about Alan's decision to marry Kansha. It's not that Kansha isn't good it's just her beliefs that worry me. But Alan and Kansha have shown their own resolve and I don't think I as a parent should curb my own son's wishes as long as it's good. And based on Kansha's personality all along, Kansha is a kind and polite woman. And the most important thing is that he has a high sense of tolerance towards their differences.” Obviously Father.
“I feel so too. As soon as I saw Kansha for the first time, I knew that Kansha was not a bad woman. He is very kind, polite, friendly and intelligent. Regardless of the beliefs she professed, I was sure that Kansha would be the perfect match for Alan. And I'm sure they'll respect each other's condition.” Timpal.
“I too, om, aunt. As soon as I decided to marry Kansha, I was ready with all the risks. Although interfaith marriage is still a taboo subject among the Indonesian people but my determination to marry Kansha did not fade. I just want to make Kansha my only choice.”
And newness is in Kansha's heart. The words of Father, Mother and Alan seemed to blow all his burden into space. Kansha was both relieved and happy. He was accepted into the Alan family.
Likewise with Grace and Andrian, they nodded in relief because the most sensitive problems were well resolved. Nor do they care about what beliefs their future daughter-in-law holds, as Kansha is happy with her choice, so Grace and Andrian have had enough.
“But interfaith marriage is still quite controversial in Indonesia. Not many civil registry offices are willing to record interfaith marriages.” Chirping Grace.
“I have checked about it and the official office that gives permission only in areas such as Yogyakarta, Salatiga, Surabaya and Denpasar. But there are some Catholic churches that are willing to marry couples of different faiths. It's just that it might be a little too complicated, not to mention with the comments of the people, so I suggested to my Mas to have a wedding abroad.” Alfin.
Everyone fell silent, Kansha quietly sighed. But Andrian nodded his head.
“I agree on your suggestion. Indeed the cost will drain the bag but at least this will make your marriage run unimpeded. Papa has checked it, and Singapore can be an option.” Andrian.
“Singapore pa?” ask Kansha. Andrian nodded.
“For his finances, we can also help. You don't need to worry.” Grace Imbuh.
“How do you think?” ask Andrian to Dad.
Dad nodded, “I agree about it. Instead of bothering to take care of it in Indonesia, it is better to take it abroad. God willing is not much different from in Indonesia.”
“What do you think of that, Kansha, Alan?”
Kansha and Alan looked at each other then Alan first replied, “Alan handed it to Kansha about her decision.”
All eyes were now on Kansha, Kansha was stunned. Then he began to speak with caution.
“Maybe this sounds stubborn, but Kansha really wants to get married in Indonesia only.”
“But Kansha, the process will be much more complicated than a religious wedding.” Tukas Grace's.
“Not to mention with kelurahan and KUA. Few of them legalize it.” Alfin timpal.
“But someone must have allowed it. In Indonesia there are still many who are married but different religions.” Tukas Kansha's.
“It's still a little and a rarity. Even if they allow it, do not forget the comments of the public. Indonesian people are still happy to gossip congregation.” Alfin.
“Alan respects Kansha's decision. Alan also agrees with Kansha, if we can get married in Indonesia only.” Alan Sela.
“But mas, it's too—“
“Mas and Kansha have already decided on it, so please respect.” Cut Alan off when Alfin was about to refute.
“Already, if it is your decision, then we can only respect and support. We will do our best to help you.” Said Dad mediating.
“Iya, if there is anything, do not hesitate to tell yes. We will help as much as we can.” Timpal.
“And don't forget us, even though we are busy but you must keep telling all the progress yes. Don't forget to ask for help when you encounter difficulties.” Added Grace.
Kansha and Alan smiled happily, “Thank you everyone.” They both touched.
Everything will be fine if the people around us support each other. Don't be afraid and don't worry. Everything's gonna be fine. And as long as the intention is good, then it will be achieved even though many obstacles are blocked.

Two weeks had passed after the family's dinner, Kansha and Alan were preoccupied with their wedding preparations. They are still trying to persuade the family and civil records to accept their marriage. But as Alfin and Andrian said, not many parties legalize it because this is still very taboo in Indonesia. But they don't break charcoal, he and Alan keep trying.
And in the midst of the busyness, a good news came from Kansha.
Viewers, the daughter of Williams couple Kansha Andara Williams who is the CEO of ARC entered the list of 100 influential women in the world and ranked thirty according to the BBC. It is known that Kansha became the youngest woman on the list. Not to mention ARC got another proud achievement that has entered into a blue chip company in a short time. To appreciate this, today we are with Kansha Andara Williams to share her experience.
“Halo, good morning, mbak Kansha. I congratulate you on your amazing achievement.” Greet the host.
The maroon-blazing woman smiled happily and nodded gracefully, “Ah thank you very much. It is not only my business, but all my employees who work diligently also make it happen.” Kansha's reply was low.
“You are humble once yes.” The host's comments were friendly. Hearing him Kansha felt ashamed of being praised.
“Then mbak Kansha, mbak can tell how mbak can be successful like that.amWhat is the success factor according to mbak?”
“I think you should love your work first. Do not just be used as a livelihood but also as your love. Because if you can love your work then everything will be easy for you.” Reply Kansha.
“I have always aspired to be a reporter. And I managed to realize my dream through ARC. Although originally ARC almost bankrupt but we all shoulder to shoulder to shoulder to defend ARC and the blessings of our struggle ARC could be as it is now.”
“Say you made it to the list at the youngest age of other dintara. This is a pride because indirectly, you have broken the record.” Said the host.
“Ah, I also heard like that.” reply Kansha shy. “But it might be too much because I did nothing to cause me to be rewarded this much.” Kansha continued.
“As you said that ARC is almost on the verge of bankruptcy and once you take over the leadership, ARC which had a massive deficit and now even has the highest income among other journalistic companies. Wow, this is amazing.” The host applauded in amazement as well as the audience.
Kansha rubbed her nape shyly praised speerti, “This is all thanks to the hard work of the ARC employees. Those who did not leave ARC in times of trouble and they have remained faithful to maintain ARC until now. I realize that their love is not only in their work as journalists but also their love for the company.”
“And it's a surprising fact that ARC was acquired by Williams Company until it became part of Williams but exactly three months ago, you broke away from your family company, this why?”
“I decided to stand alone again. After this ARC was acquired by the Williams Company when it was on the verge of bankruptcy, I was very grateful and thanks to the skilled hands of the Williams Company, ARC was able to survive again. We are also working hard to make ARC stronger than ever and we think we have been able to stand alone enough until I finally decided to part ways with Williams Company. Without their help ARC would not exist until now, so I am very grateful.”
“Means true that you are the daughter of Williams?” Kansha nodded.
“I'm his second daughter.”
“But where have you been all this time? since word circulated that Williams has another daughter but her whereabouts are unknown, is this really you?”
Kansha nodded again, “I did stay apart with my parents since High School and just returned to live together some time ago.”
“Why? Was there a problem earlier?”
Kansha was speechless to hear it, she did not know what to answer.
“Mbak Kansha?” reprimanded the host when Kansha only fell silent.
Kansha gasped, to cover her nervousness, she smiled warmly. “Nothing, I just want to be independent.” Reply Kansha lied.
“Ah so.”
They kept talking to Kansha who kept answering questions. So far there is no problem until they arrive at the question and answer session with the audience. Loyal viewers accompanying them in the studio can ask any questions about Kansha as long as it is not excessive and does not offend privacy.
“Please for those who want to ask, can raise handnys.”
After the host said that, a few hands were outstretched with vigor. The crew picked two lucky spectators who could ask questions.
“Okay, we've got two. For viewers at home can also ask questions via our instagram and favorite questions will be asked directly on Mbak Kansha.”
“Just go to the first questioner. Can his name be who and what is the question?”
A young woman in a pink shirt stood up enthusiastically.
“Halo, Ms. Kansha. My name is Tyas Ayu, I want to ask, is there a motivation that can be given to women to be able to perform like you? Thank you." Thank you."
Kansha instantly picks up her microphones, “Excitement! Never give up and complain. Don't listen to other people's words and don't make men his standard. Often the reason women can not work is the fact that it is always under men. Surely everyone has heard ‘for what the hell college high if in the end you are in the kitchen?’ it must be a very annoying thing as if that woman's dream is not important. We are going to be housewives in the end, but what is the harm if we pursue our dreams? Chasing what we like? There are still many women out there who can still have a career even though they are married.”
“And another factor is the amount of disparaging remarks from others to our abilities. Don't listen! Consider our ears deaf for a moment. Go forward, don't look left-right. Focus on the dream. No matter what the obstacle is, lunge with all your might. I'm sure the result will be good. Remember, there is no reaction without action. Everything has its own long path.”
Prok
A thunderous sound of applause broke out from the audience. Kansha's words burned their spirits. Kansha smiled with gratitude.
“Good, we go to the second questioner, please state the name and question.”
This time, a young woman stood up. He was wearing a white shirt with a hat and a hood on his head. There was nothing strange until the woman mentioned her name.
“My name is Aura.”
As soon as her name was mentioned, the woman opened her hood which covered almost part of her face. And Kansha's eyes widened when a cunning smile appeared on the face most familiar to Kansha.
