Caramel's gaze was fixed on the buoy hanging on his left, he looked around hesitantly about to take the buoy. But given Rafka's words on the phone, Caramel had the courage to pick up and put on a lifeguard even though no one else was wearing it. Caramel stuffed her phone and wallet into a small, clear bag that happened to be waterproof. Models of such bags are trending lately, Caramel feels lucky to use the bag at this time.

"This ship is going to drown?" Jane asked frantically to Caramel who was pretending to be calm.

"May not." Caramel shook his head, even though he was a swimmer but still this deep ocean can not be equated with a pool. "Lagian Rafka says this is just in case, I'm sure this ship is strong enough."

Jane leaned her body on the seat not calm, as strong as any man-made ship will still be destroyed too if hit by a big wave.

Caramel realized that the once bright sky turned dark covered in cloudy, the wind was blowing very fast with a light drizzle. "Come on." Doni held Jane's hand to calm her down even though she was panicking herself.

Caramel was stunned, he could not walk upright on the increasingly tilted floor of the ship. Other passengers also shouted in panic, some of whom had already jumped off the ship after using the buoys as directed by the officers.

Caramel closed his eyes taking a deep breath, suddenly Rafka's handsome face appeared in his mind. Doni stifled laughter hearing Caramel's words, maybe at a time like this Caramel can still laugh. But Jane was different, she looked at Caramel in fear.

"Seriously wet the bed?" The question made sure that Caramel was just accidentally urinating.

"Eh but how much?" Caramel grimaced with pain in his lower abdomen, he had felt cramps a few times before but now it hurts more.

"Lu hold on to my husband." Jane asks Caramel to hold on to Doni. "Pa, it's like Caramel broke his membranes."

"Here-here." Doni pulled Caramel's arm and wrapped it around his neck, he saw Caramel's lips begin to turn blue. They're all cold but Doni and Jane are more worried about Caramel's condition because she's pregnant.

"Jane, if I die my son can still live, right?" Caramel glanced at Jane weakly.

"Lu said what the hell!" Jane glared in dislike at Caramel's remark.

"Gue's sorry for bringing you here, I should have gone myself." Caramel's lips trembled, he grimaced with stomach heartburn. "Cold." He said raucously, he was crying in the rain and the waves that hit them. Caramel had no idea what she was feeling right now, sick, cold and sorry. If he can't be saved, he hopes Rafka will forgive him. Caramel never felt like a good wife to Rafka even though Rafka had always been the ideal husband for her.

Doni tightened Caramel's hand grip on her neck while trying to keep swimming.

"Close your mouth!" Jane snapped, she swam to the right side to see an officer not far from them. "Mas, when's the relief ship coming?" Ask.

"We've already contacted other ships, they'll come as soon as possible." Answer the officer.

"Mas, my friend is pregnant, please save her first."

"We'll save everyone."

Jane nodded faintly, "How!" He shouted back to Caramel and Doni.

"Aah my stomach hurts vow!" Caramel bit her lip to see Jane.

"Lu must survive, another ship will come and evacuate everything."

Caramel clenched her hands tightly, the cold getting pierced into the bone. His mouth was salty and slightly warm, the only warmth he could currently feel, it came from the blood flowing on his lips. Caramel had bitten her lips too hard to bleed.

Caramel so remember his dream as a child was to swim freely in the sea, in the rain without anyone telling him to go home. Such a beautiful dream in Caramel's shadow now turned into a tragedy that could have taken his life.

Caramel's eyes closed again, the corner of her lips raised to form a smile. His head fell on Doni's neck. When it happened Jane was screaming hysterically calling Caramel's name. Jane's voice is getting faint in Caramel's ears muffled by rain or because he has indeed lost consciousness.
