The sun shines brightly with a gust of wind strong enough to keep the atmosphere cool. Hundreds of pine trees lined up neatly as far as the eye could see. Caramel was right about running away here, I hope she's no longer stuck by the past after our marriage.
My forecast about the weather doesn't seem wrong, today it's really sunny. All the invited guests are already present in our midst, only one has yet to come, the angel with a height of 165 centimeters and will increase 7 centimeters after wearing high heels.
I can't wait to see her wearing the white dress I've prepared for her. Since last night I didn't see Caramel, I missed it. I've missed her since I first met her 12 years ago. It felt like a dream, in a matter of minutes her status would change to my wife.
Right behind me was 2 meters from Caramel's parents and I was sitting there. Including my papa, my ex-husband and his current wife. Caramel's guess is right, they will attend this marriage contract even though I hope he does not come, hopefully mama is fine with his presence. Ah, but I don't think any woman is okay to see her man happy with someone else. Like I had endured the pain of seeing Caramel laughing with Rama. The heartache will never heal unless it is completely yours.
"Let's welcome the arrival of the bride who wore a simple white dress but it adds to the aura of her beauty, Caramel Indira Aditama has a very strong inner beauty, which is very strong, he was accompanied by two bridesmaids on the right and left."
I turned my head just like the guests who were also curious about the angel. Not feeling my smile on its own, seeing Caramel so dazzling with white A line brocade dress. Her hair was rolled up with a flower crown decoration making her look sweet. Her makeup is simple thanks to her own hand skills, she does not want to be dressed by professional MUA but Caramel remains beautiful like that.
Caramel smiled faintly, she sat beside me in a graceful gesture. My eyes were reluctant to blink, until the ruler rebuked me that the procession would begin soon.
The event began with various prayers and a little encouragement from the ruler, but I was still hypnotized by Caramel's beauty. I hope I didn't make a mistake.
Papa Caramel grabbed my hand, he clasped my hand firmly making me nervous half to death, my heart racing. It's more tense than it was at my thesis trial.
"Ananda Rafka Kalandra Pradipta bin Bayu Pradipta I married and I marry you to my daughter Caramel Indira Aditama bint Antony Aditama with a dowry in the form of one apartment unit and twelve money million dollars paid in cash."
"I accept the marriage and marriage of Caramel Indira Aditama bint Antony Aditama with the dowry in cash!" I replied with a single breath without blinking in a loud voice like a marching row troops.
"How's witness?"
"Well!"
The legitimate voice of the two witnesses gave me tremendous relief, as if the burden on my shoulders was shedding along with her. I put the microphone on the table and looked up at the praying hands with the others. I saw from the tail of my eyes, Caramel shedding tears.
Caramel kissed my hand and then I kissed her forehead long enough. My tears also melted to my lips. I immediately removed the link between Caramel's lips and forehead before my tears trickled down her face. Why does a happy atmosphere make people cry?
I pin the ring to her ring finger after signing the marriage certificate. Then Caramel did the same to me, smiling at her happy tears. I see his eyes glittering with happiness.
"Don't look at me that way." Caramel hissed, throwing a sharp glare. What if I looked at her intensely, we were married anyway.
Caramel and I walked over to our parents. We gathered in front of my mother and father to apologize and ask for my blessing.
Mama, from our deepest hearts we apologize if so many things that make you feel sick. Open the door to your forgiveness so that we can move with happiness.
I clasped my mom's hand, kissed her and hugged her tightly. Mama rubbed my back then kissed my cheeks right and left, she sobbed. She was a woman who rarely cried, the last time I remember she cried at the wedding of Febi 3 years ago.
"Be a responsible and faithful husband to one woman." Mom's message before you kiss me again.
I don't want to see another woman crying over her man's betrayal, I don't want that to happen again. Enough I see mom crying because papa cheated on me, I'm not gonna be a guy like her.
"Mama, leave Caramel." Mama Caramel muttered as I kissed her hands and hugged her.
"Yes Ma." I'm nodding. Thank you ma, for giving birth to such an amazing child as Caramel.
Father, thank you for fighting to raise and educate us tremendously. Thank you for allowing us to go home.
"Pray me to be a faithful husband and never cheat until the end of my life." I kissed papa's hand, hugging her briefly without looking at her face.
"Why do you hate Papa so much?" Whisper in my ear.
"Why did Papa ask me?" I moved in front of Papa Caramel changing places with Caramel.
"Don't you dare hurt Caramel, otherwise Papa will kill you with Papa's own hands." Papa Caramel.
"I'll give you the knife if it happens." Tegasku.
I clasped Caramel's hand to help her stand up. His eyes were swollen from crying, even the trace of Caramel's tears was so clear.
"My powder doesn't fade?" Caramel. Behold, he comforted himself with such a joke.
I'm shaking.
"Thank God." Caramel rubbed her chest. "No need to use Chanel's loose powder."
All invited guests congratulate us by greeting us in turn. But I cannot take my eyes off the woman who is now my wife, my first love, my last love. Our love story is not as beautiful as in the movie, who accidentally met and fell in love and married. I only dared to love Caramel from afar, then marry her because of the matchmaking scenario.
"Finally you get married too!" Danu patted my shoulder.
"And you huh?" Caramel shook Danu's hand.
"Yes, I know for sure because of my figure that is so famous among women."
"Don't be so narcissistic." I let go of the link between them.
"You said I was instant coconut milk, right?" Caramel raised her eyebrows next to make Danu waver.
"Let's not make a long queue." I said to Danu.
"Iye!" Danu immediately walked over to give another guest a chance to greet me and Caramel.
"Here's my hug!" Jane spread her hand out in front of Caramel.
"Don't eat mostly yes, later other guests will not be part." Caramel said she welcomed Jane's embrace.
"Gue another diet!" Spray her.
"Geez, my girl's finally getting married." Kayla's Turn. "Don't forget the tips that I and Jane have given you."
"You guys just calm down, I'll tell you the success of your tips." Caramel patted Kayla on the shoulder.
I don't understand their conversation, it's a discussion between women. Maybe I'll understand later, I don't know. It is very difficult to understand women.

Jakarta, 12 years ago.
That night the students of SMA Pelita Nusa were holding a persami which was a series of Student Orientation Period events. Incidentally the opposite school with the High School was also holding the same activity.
"You should look for seven red ribbons scattered around the school environment." Said the chairman of OSIS SMA Pelita Nusa. "Start from now!"
"Ready brother!" The MOS participants answered in unison, they immediately disbanded in their task of finding a red ribbon.
"Rafka, you'll soon be wandering around here afraid there's a stray kid." Tell Leon, the head of OSIS to Rafka.
"Yes." Yeah." Rafka nodded.
Rafka stuffed one candle into his jacket pocket and turned on the flashlight, wandering around the school grounds. Some other OSIS members also went around there carrying their own flashlights.
At 9pm when Rafka came out of the school gate, the cold atmosphere pierced through his jacket which was actually already thick. Rafka looked up, there were no stars in the sky. Will it rain? Rafka doesn't know either, but he's always curious about the weather tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, a week or a month ahead. Rafka dropped the jacket to reduce the cold that night.
"Mama, dark Ma!"
Rafka heard the sound of a woman crying, she pointed a flashlight at a tree not far from the school fence.
"Jane, Kayla, where have you gone!"
Rafka walked up to the tree, then stopped when he saw a female figure behind him. Rafka saw the woman's shoulders swaying up and down quickly which meant she was crying.
"Mom, I don't want to be eaten by ghosts in this darkness, I'm still fifteen, next month is only sixteen." He let out a long sigh as his chest felt increasingly tight unable to breathe.
"It." Rafka threw the candle he had turned on the woman. At first glance Rafka admires the beautiful face of the woman with a trace of tears on her cheeks. The face was increasingly beautiful with the reflection of the candlelight she was holding.
The woman looked up, slowly receiving the candle in Rafka's hand. His mouth was open in surprise at the arrival of the stranger.
"It will save you from the darkness." Rafka.
Rafka immediately left after handing the woman the candle, she had to continue her task of making sure the MOS participants were not stray.
"Caramel, we're looking everywhere for you."
"You're so mean, leave me here alone."
"Well I was in a hurry to pee, well this is you've got a candle."
"So someone should give me a candle."
"Huh, who?"
"I don't know, I can't see his face, cover his jacket."
"Don't."
"Eh, don't macem-macem ya you!"
"Malem sunday, ghost again at the weekly mall like tuh."
"Kayla, Jane, don't be reckless!"
Rafka turned his head back, he could still hear the conversation of the three women. But slowly more inaudible because Rafka distance is getting farther.
"Sweet as the name suggests, Caramel." Rafka muttered before continuing her journey.
