It was a long night in the history of Hanna's life. Sadness and disappointment become one. He understood that perhaps out of a frenzy, Davlin who was indeed temperamental slapped his face. The man did not have time to apologize, because Hanna had already run away leaving her still dumbstruck looking at the palm she had used to hit Hanna.
From his place, the already floundering Davlin could only see the departure of Hanna who ran away leaving him.
Realizing what he had done, Davlin could only regret his actions, hitting the tree trunk that was there.
The urge to chase him is there however, Davlin's phone is ringing back, this time from Reta.
"What's up, Ma?"
"Where areyou? hurry to the hospital!"

Iris lay weak. The doctor said the cancer had spread all over his body. There will be no use anymore, even if surgery is done.
Returnomo, Iris' father sat down weakly, holding the hand of his unconscious daughter. Seeing the arrival of Davlin, Purnomo stood up, hugging Davlin full of sadness. "Iris fainted, Dav. What do we do?" he said with a choked voice.
"We'll wait for the doctor's information, Om." Davlin said softly. He calmed others down while his heart was currently in a bad state as well. His heart and mind kept on going to Hanna, regretting her actions that had hurt the girl's cheek. Should he be called a man? love that is too pressing will definitely not be good ends.
He shouldn't have done that damned deed. He should have been able to persuade Hanna, instead of suppressing her with his arrogance. All this time he was acting as he wished. Nothing is not gained by its power.
The doctor who treated Iris came out as Davlin calmed Purnomo down. "How's my son doing, Doc?"
"The patient is asleep. The breathing is stable. For a while he had to be hospitalized."
"Good doctor. Please do whatever can help my son." Purnomo holds both palms together on the chest. The doctor was ready, as soon as Reta came.
"I'm down sad, for what happened to your daughter, Mo" Reta stroked the middle-aged man's arm. The two are old friends who are like brothers.
Since childhood living in the same environment until separated while searching for work to live each other's lives.
"Reta, how's the problem we talked about?" Purnomo looked up, staring at the towering face of Reta from his seat.
"That, I can't make a decision. I leave it to Davlin. Whatever the decision, I can only support and wish him all the best. That's a parent's job, right?"
"What's the matter mama? Um?" davlin was confused.
Purnomo looked at Reta, asking for approval to say what they had discussed earlier. Davlin who sensed something was related to him, raised one eyebrow. Waiting for an explanation of both.
"Davlin, yesterday about Purnomo asked permission from mama. He asked you to marry Iris."
"What?"
"Yes, Dav. You know for yourself how Iris is, and you're lovers, why don't you get married?"
"But only with you can Iris be happy. I beg you, Dav!"
"Sorry, Om. I can't. I love another girl, and I don't want to hurt her even more!"
"Who?" Reta looks enthusiastic. This time, his son admitted that he loved a girl. All this time for Davlin, women are just for fun, even he does not remember anyone who became his date.
"Let me tell you later, Ma. The point is, no matter what happens, I can't marry Iris!"
"Sorry, the patient is conscious. The family was able to meet him, "cut off one of the nurses who had just walked out of Iris's room.
They finally put a stop to the debate, and entered Iris's hospital room. "Davlin," called Iris in a weak voice. He stretched out his hand to hold the man.
Davlin fluttered, but when he saw the sad face of a father pleading with him, having no other choice, Davlin received the helping hand.
"How are you doing? why did you fall unconscious?" asked Davlin sitting next to the bed.
"That's because you're avoiding me. You know I can sense that you're keeping your distance from me."
There was an implied wound from Iris's tone of speech. His face was deathly pale, like someone who had lost the source of his happiness.
"You must be strong, son. Heals quickly. Don't make me worry." Purnomo who stood in front of the bed stared at his daughter. The sound of shaking when talking indicates that he is trying to hold back the pace of his tears.
"I'm sorry papa. Aunt Reta, thank you for taking care of me" Iris smiled. Reta just nodded. She loves Iris. But he also did not want to interfere in Davlin's affairs. If indeed his son has his own choice, then he will support, the choice of his son, even if it must disappoint Purnomo and his daughter.
"Cheal fast, Iris. You have to stay up" Reta said stroking the girl's arm.
"Papa, Auntie, can you leave us alone? there's something I want to talk to Davlin about."
For a moment Purnomo weighed, whether it was good to leave them both. It was nothing, Purnomo was only afraid that Davlin would resolutely reject his daughter, when Iris wanted to say her intentions.
That afternoon, Purnomo, who happened to come home quickly from work, found his daughter unconscious on the floor near his bed. One bracelet made of titanium was in his palm which proved that he had held it. Curious Purnomo who had already carried Iris onto the bed, picked up and saw the inside of the bracelet there was one name engraved, and it was not the name of his daughter. Purnomo took the initiative to save at nightstand. He guessed, that thing was the basis of him fainting.
Only the two of them remained in the room. Quiet, with no one to open their voices. The loneliness was only solved by the sound from the monitor connected to Iris' body.
"I miss you" Iris murmured. He had already taken his hand off Davlin. The girl had also asked Purnomo to turn the bed before the man came out earlier, so that his back could be slightly upright, and make him comfortable. Davlin's body froze, he had to finish this as soon as possible!
"Iris. I also want you to get well soon. But I'm.., uh..,"
"I found the bracelet!" cut Iris.
"Huh?" Davlin looked at Iris. He thought the girl was being delirious or just talking.
"The bracelet you bought in England." A smile expands. "A pair of bracelets you ordered in an antique shop. Bracelets that are not mine. The bracelet you're allotting isn't for me. The bracelet inside is a name. Hanna!" said Iris winked until the tears that had been since she had been resistant to falling on her cheek. It all looked dark, painful and slowly killed him.
