"You're perfect" said Hanna, standing right behind the girl, looking into the mirror and smiling. Julia begged Hanna to dress her up on her wedding day.
"Can I hug you?" joe asked Julia who had turned to face Hanna. Her tears were already growing and ready to come down.
"You can just as long as you don't wet my dress" Hanna smiled.
"I'm lucky to have a friend like you. Thank you for pushing me this far" Julia said.
"So, stop your crying if you don't want to be weird at your wedding" said Hanna, breaking into their arms, with her fingers wiping away the tears on Julia's cheeks.
After completing the drama between two friends, the two went down, through one door that went straight to the door of the building. There was already waiting for her papa who was going to take Julia to the altar.
However, before the event began, a small incident occurred. All of this was only because of Andrew's mistake, breaking the news to Alex who had just arrived in England.
"You know, tomorrow is Malory's wedding day and who, the girl who's her best friend, is" she said the night before Julia's wedding.
"What did you say?" ask Alex who he just joined at the club. At that time they were just the two of them, for no apparent reason Sebastian was not present, despite knowing that today Alex has arrived in Landon.
"Are you deaf? I told you, Malory's getting married to that girl who's always been around her,"
Without a second thought, Alex returns home, traveling a considerable distance only to ask for an edict on her aunt, Lady Abigail.
"You here?" welcome Lady Abigail a little surprised to see the presence of her beloved niece these nights.
"I need to talk to you, aunt."
"Where is your courtesy? you came without kissing your lips?" lady Abigail said with one eye. Not wanting to waste any time, Alex kisses his aunt's spoiled cheeks.
"Tell me, what are you doing here at night" asked Abigail.
"I wanted to ask my uncle to give his decree to annul Malory's marriage to Miss Jhonson" Alex said, keeping his eyes locked on Lady Abigail's gaze.
"What's? you're going crazy? where might your uncle want to take the letter out" said Abigail in a head-scarf.
"I want that letter right now. It's aunt's fault for ruining my plan to marry Hanna. With ease, my aunt even announced that she would match me with Ophelia. I've been helping my uncle run his business for a few weeks in Paris, so I'm asking for compensation by making letters of recommendation for me and Hanna. I want to marry that girl!" firmly Alex.
From behind the door of the reading room, the Duke of Cambridge who wanted to welcome Alex, but stopped his steps when he heard the debate.
"I'm sorry, Lex. Ophelia's problem, I've taken care of her. You don't have to marry that girl. But to provide a letter of support to marry Hanna, I really can't. I had to save my pride," Abigail said in a voice. He knew this was his fault.
"I'd be crazy until he marries Malory tomorrow, Auntie. What am I supposed to do? Should I go to the king?"
"And you, my Lady, please don't spoil Alex's pleasure. Let him seek his own happiness" Thomas pinched Abigail's cheek.
And here is Alex. It was a long morning journey from Cambridge to Holy Ville. He doesn't want to be late until he loses the girl he loves. Had it not been for helping her uncle, she would have been seeing Hanna since her aunt's tea party.
"My Lord," said Julia and her father together.Surprised as he looked at Alex who had emerged from the door reserved only for the bride and the father as he prepared for the wedding hall.
"Julia?" alex's forehead wrinkled up at Hanna then turned to Julia. She had even prepared to shout at Hanna, however, upon seeing Julia's dress, her mouth clenched, then opened again and just muttered, calling Julia's name.
"Yes, my Lord," Julia bent her salute, still bowing her gaze like a beautiful one.
"You're married today?" alex continued without debating the attitude of Hanna who got that far has not said anything else to pay her respects.
"Yes, My Lord," said Julia still nodding respectfully.
"By..,"
"With the Earl of Malory, Your Highness," sambar his father Julia. Alex's stiff and pale-looking face, turned to relax, even a faint smile was seen on his lips.
"I think it's time, the father delivered his daughter" Alex smiled. His face turned cheerful as if in spite of the hanging punishment.
Along with the sound of the piano, Julia who was held by her father stepped into the hall. All pairs of invited guests' eyes stared joyfully, joining in the excitement of a big wedding in the village.
At the end of the day, Malory is waiting for Julia to appear. When the father handed Julia's hand to Will, almost all the women who sat on the guest bench, also shed tears.
Hanna who was observing from her place, wanted to take a step closer. He smiled at the happiness of his two friends. However, his steps came to a halt when Alex pulled his hand and instead pulled the girl away from the hall.
Hanna wanted to pull her hand back, not wanting to follow the man, but her impulse of wanting to follow the man's footsteps was greater. He doesn't want to lie to himself if he misses Alex so much. Even two days in a row, Hanna dreams of the man, seeing him but not wanting to talk to him.
"I miss you" whispered Alex touching Hanna's soft cheeks. He almost went crazy imagining the girl getting married to another man.
"You're back? I don't want to get in trouble with Lady Ophelia" he said.
"Basar Hanna is stupid, why carry someone else's name when you're both! you're a lousy girl who likes to ruin moments!" he swore in his heart, condemning his own folly.
"Lady Abigail was just kidding. I can't possibly marry Abigail, because I already like this stubborn girl" whispered Alex pulling Hanna's body into her arms.
The girl did not refuse at all, because this was what she wanted. He wanted to be brave, to love this arrogant powerful man. He would not care about his status, such a low peerage. All she wanted was to love this man, and be by his side. This time for whatever sake he would not retreat again. Alex's hand will be welcomed and will be held tightly, walking together, wading through this story.
"Don't leave me again. Don't run from me again, Hanna. I'd go crazy if I lost you. Marry me." Alex cupped Hanna's chin and brought her lips closer to blending in with the girl.
