My Crazy Lady's

My Crazy Lady's
Chapter 120 (MCL)

"Do you want to rest, honey?" alex asks when he hands Hanna a glass of champagne.

Hanna glanced at the clock. It was seven o'clock and the celebration would start at eight. Currently, Mery is ironing Hanna's dress, which means Hanna doesn't have time to finish champagne. Reluctantly, Hanna nodded and put down the glass.

Alex catches Hanna's somber glances towards the wine glass, and with a mocking smile, Alex takes both of their glasses, then leads Hanna up a wide, curved staircase towards their bedroom.

In a room that blends into Alex's bedroom, and that Hanna will be occupying starting today. Alex stops, opens the door for Hanna and hands the champagne to the woman. "Do I have to get someone to bring you a full bottle, My Lady?" teased Alex, and before Hanna could give an equally bold answer, Alex lowered her head, with her lips lightly moving on Hanna's lips in a sweet, short kiss.

The dark red carpet stretched from the front road to the brightly lit staircase. Guests continued to arrive, walking up the main staircase, where thirty male servants lined up upright in the Claymore family uniform that was dark red and gold.

Under the six-story chandelier, in the party room, Hanna stood beside Alex, while the butler announced "Lord and Lady.... Sir.. Misters.. Missus.."

While everyone walked through the marble portal into the room filled with flowers.

"Lady Brigitta," Hanna heard the butler say. Hanna's reflexes stiffened when the king's niece who had once fought with her, the rude and hateful girl Hanna walked towards them with a green turban and matching satin dress.

"I'm sure, My Lady," Alex joked with a big smile at the woman." I won't see any commotion at this party. And your goodwill to attend, is to prove that you accepted Hanna to be the duchess of Claymore."

Lady Brigitta laughed out loud, then leaned her body towards Alex. "I've always wanted to ask you why you chose this woman. But seeing him standing by your side right now, well, I think it's appropriate."

"Right," Alex sambar while tilting his head towards Hanna. "As you say."

"I already know!" lady Brigitta chuckled. "But it took me weeks to convince myself." Then part from before the two of them looking for someone who he can make entertainment.

Dinner became an extraordinary event that began with a champagne toast, the first embroidery put forward by Stephen. "To the Duchess of Claymore" he said.

Hanna turned her head towards Alex's mother, smiling happily and raising a glass, getting ready to toast the woman. "I'm sure Stephen meant you, honey," Alex whispered with a chuckle.

"I? Oh yes, of course," said Hanna, quickly lowering her hand to cover up her mistake. The therapy was late, because the guests saw it and laughed out loud. Hanna turned to her parents who were also laughing. Julia, and Will, Catherine and James join in with the entertainment.

Alex gets up from her seat, and Hanna feels very proud to see Alex standing there, surrounded by the aura of power that Alex is part of.

Alex spoke and his deep voice rang out all the way to the corner of the quiet room. "A few months ago, for the first time I met him more clearly" Alex said, looking gently at Hanna. "A beautiful young woman, made me realize that no matter how much power a man has, if he has fallen in love with a girl, then all power and luxury attributes to you will be meaningless. At first he rejected me, even the Duke title attached to me could not fascinate him.

"I'm not ashamed to admit it, but I believe my love can melt it. From then on I decided there was only one other title you wanted, to be her husband."

Alex shook his head grimly, though laughter glittered in his gray eyes. "Trust me, my first title is much easier to get than the second." As the laughter subsided, Alex continued in earnest, "and more priceless. Thank you, you're getting married to me" she said, ending her short speech, winking one eye at Hanna.

When the musician but the waltz, first, Alex leads Hanna to the dance floor. Alex embraces Hanna and turns her around in front of everyone, but as the guests join them on the dance floor, Alex turns relaxed and dances more slowly with Hanna.

Alex's senses sharpen due to the faint fragrance of Hanna's perfume, due to the light touch of Hanna's fingertips. Alex thought about tomorrow night, or the day after, when he made Hanna his whole possession, and Alex's blood rippled warmly until he had to forcibly get rid of the idea.

He tries to concentrate on something else, and within seconds, Alex imagines having gone naked and kissed Hanna, caressing the woman with her hands and lips until Hanna turns wild for Alex.

Stuart asks for his right to dance with Hanna and. Alex danced with his own mother, and that was what happened for hours later. The day had passed midnight when Alex and Hanna left the dance floor to walk together, join hands, laugh and talk to the guests.

Hanna was obviously having fun and Alex was clearly in no hurry to take the woman away from the party. After all, there was nothing Alex could look forward to tonight, except sleeping alone in bed. This was in accordance with their agreement, not precisely Hanna's more petty request to her husband before they said the sacred promise yesterday.

"I want us to put it off first. You know, I'm still not ready, and there's fear. I want to turn myself in after I deserve it and know how. I'm phobic, afraid to do that one thing, I'm sure you know what I mean" Hanna said back in the hill behind the Claymore family estate.

Does Alex have a choice? As long as Hanna wanted to marry him, whatever condition it was she would be willing. After all, he only asked for a few days until he felt ready. Not rejecting it forever. "Well baby, whatever you want, I'll follow."

The clock was almost showing at almost one in the morning, Alex felt the guests 'hoping' they immediately went to rest, a suspicion that was confirmed when Lord Marcus Rutherford commented to Alex in a lowly, ornate voice of laughter. "Gosh, man, if you ask me when you can leave without being a subject, you're two hours late" Lord Marcus's lead, who made Alex blush, shamed, not to mention the laughter from the invited guests hearing the old man's words.
