When Hanna awakens, Alex is not around and during a terrible moment, Hanna thinks she only dreamed Alex was with her last night. Hanna rolled on her back, her spirit shattered, then she saw Alex.
The man sat by the window, a few steps from the bed, dressed in a deep red sleeping robe carried by the waiter along with a silver coffee tray that was on the table in front of Alex.
The heavy curtain opens slightly, displaying a bright blue sky not cloudy, but opposite the cheerful July morning. Alex's handsome face looked very serious, as if the man's mind was drifting far away. Fretfully, Hanna wondered what was the cause when Alex was so warm and passionate a few hours ago.
Hanna put on the blue silk robe she wore last night, then walked across the oriental carpet, stopping beside Alex's chair. The man was so immersed in his own thoughts that he gasped when Hanna touched his shoulder. "When you weren't in bed when I woke up, for a moment I thought I just dreamed you were here last night."
Alex's expression softened and he reached out, grabbed Hanna's arm and pulled the woman gently but firmly into her lap. "How are you feeling?" alex asked as he hugged Hanna's waist.
"I feel really healthy for the size of the woman with my condition," joked Hanna, trying to lighten Alex's mood. "Even if I don't get noticed for a while, I always want to sleep."
Stretching his fingers across Hanna's stomach, Alex asked gently, "How's the baby doing?"
"We're both very good, because you're already here with us" Hanna confirmed.
Alex nodded in satisfaction, but his expression returned serious. "I'm sitting here, thinking.." Alex began to explain.
"I hate it when you do," teased Hanna as she reached out and stroked Alex's forehead.
"You hate it when I do what?"
"If you think of the thing that made you frown."
"I'm sorry, I'm," sambar Alex.
"Well, I'll forgive you this time, but you can't think anymore."
Alex smiles at Hanna's jokes but ignores Hanna's attempts to act as if all the issues have been resolved, and their situation was normal thanks to last night. "I realized when you woke up earlier that I had not apologized for my bad attitude and also had not explained the reason behind my attitude. I have to do both things."
Hanna turned serious, then nodded and let Alex start.
"As you already know, when you told me to go to your bedroom to get your father's letter, I found another letter, a letter explaining that you were pregnant."
"How do you know that I already knew that you found the letter?"
"A few days ago, I ignored my pride, and asked Julia who happened to meet at the home of viscount Clifton. I persuaded, rather threatened him to tell me where you were."
"Poor julia. He couldn't tell you because I didn't tell him where I was going."
"That's what he said, and I believed him. And in the end he also told me what he knew. Regarding the household issue with Malory, and also the letter you wrote representing her to inform the son of a bitch Malory about the pregnancy of his wife, and also the letter you wrote to her, and that includes the fact that you realize I found that letter you wrote on your desk."
Hanna nodded. "A few days after you found it, I realized you've seen it and that letter is the reason why you're treating me that way."
"Then why don't you discuss the matter of the letter with me and spare us both from this suffering?"
"I should have asked you that same question" Hanna replied to her husband's serious gaze. "Why don't you talk to me about it once you find it?"
Alex receives Hanna's attack while smiling half-heartedly. "I see what you mean."
"Good," said Hanna more gently. "Because that's what I want to make clear when you get out of the house. Alex, you've twice suspected me of doing something terribly wrong. And twice you refused to tell me what crime you believed I had done so I could try to explain. I accept your apology, but I want you to grant my request."
"Anything?" goda Hanna tried to lighten her husband's mood. "As long as it makes sense?"
Alex clings his chin to Hanna's head. "Anything" said Alex full of gentleness. Since last night, Alex has decided to comply with Hanna's request, whatever it is. He will only give happiness to the girl.
"In that case, I ask you to promise me you will never refuse to give me a chance to answer the charges for any bad act you may believe I have done in the future."
Alex raised his head, looking at Hanna while the woman sat on her lap. Hanna's spirit and courage were evident from her slender shoulders and raised chin, while the woman's gentleness shone in those clear green eyes and gentle smile.
Hanna has given Alex a world of happiness and now she will give offspring to the man.
Alex hopes Hanna asks for something bigger or has Alex do something impossible, so she gets Hanna's forgiveness.
But all Hanna wanted was one simple promise. Because all Hanna wants is that guy. That realization flooded Alex in an emotion that made the man's voice withering while humbly and earnestly, Alex said, "I promise never to do it again.
"Thank you" said Hanna.
Alex raises Hanna's face and ties the promise in a kiss. Very satisfied with the results of this discussion, especially with a friendly kiss Alex. Hanna leaned her cheek against Alex's chest, feeling overjoyed.
Hanna was already preparing to forget about the horrible letter and also the sadness it caused.
But Alex is not ready to end the discussion. "About the letter I found on your desk" Alex said, but Hanna ignored the topic by shaking her finger. "We don't need to discuss the letter anymore. I've forgiven you, honey and everything's done, forgotten."
Alex chuckles at Hanna's forgiving attitude. "I appreciate your kindness, once again thank you for forgiving me, and still giving me a chance."

Hearing the carefree voice and greeting that called out to him from the various rooms downstairs, Alex thought the relatives were being merry and excited.
Alex finds her mother in the dining room, sits at the head of the table for breakfast and when the dowager duchess sees Hanna's happy expression, she smiles. But the smile didn't last long, fading away as Alex landed a short kiss on her cheek and said quietly, "I want to talk to you, personally, before me and Hanna sit down for breakfast."
"Alright," Margaretha said standing and saying goodbye to the guests. Although Margaretha's shoulders were upheld and her head held high as she led Alex to a small, sun-lit connecting room overlooking the garden behind the house.
Margaretha felt like a brat receiving scolding from her nanny. She was so immersed in her own thoughts that she had not realized Hanna was following Alex from behind until Margaretha turned to close the door of the small room so that she and her son would gain some privacy.
Back then, not only had he forgotten his ridiculous anxiety, but the woman was irritated herself. After all, he did not commit any crime. Instead Margaretha only offered protection to her own son-in-law!
Margaretha adhered to that principle, while she turned to face her son. "Given your cold greeting to me last night, I think you're annoyed at me because I'm holding Hanna here. I don't know what you're doing until it makes Hanna feel like she can't stay at your house because she's too loyal to discuss your problems, even with me. But I'm pretty sure whatever you did to push him out of your house must have been terrible! Given that, if I refuse Hanna's request to stay in my house, it's outrageous, unjust and inhumane."
Alex couldn't hide his gel. Alex asks for a private meeting so she can tell her mother that her biggest dream will soon be realized, that she will become a grandmother. Because Alex decides not to scold her mother for the woman's involvement and hides Hanna from Alex.
Alex was shocked and amused to find himself receiving scolding from his mother. What's more, throughout Alex's adult years, he doesn't remember ever seeing his mother being defensive but also defensive. Holding back a smile, Alex said grimly, "I see what you mean."
"You got it?" margaretha did not believe. He thought this morning would start by getting his son's tantrum.
"true."
The dowager duchess was so shocked that she forgot her exasperated attitude. "Oh, that's very good" he said flabbergasted and nodded. For him it's so easy, there's no anger Alex, so he can breathe a sigh of relief now." I thought there was going to be a rebuttal."
