Chapter 31 (MCL)

Hanna was still dumbstruck looking at Alex who was fast asleep in bed. He wanted to strangle the man. Hanna did not think it through, why did that arrogant man who had disappeared for six months appear here?

His heart was betrayed again. Hanna is thrilled to be back with Alex. The tremors in his chest to his limp-shaking legs became a marker that there was still room for the man.

Hanna stepped back. He stomped his feet and intended to get out of the room. But his steps stopped hearing the man's voice that seemed still half conscious. "Dumb waitress, what do you want to get into my room?"

Hearing that he was fooled and also a servant, Hanna's anger was raised. Already his sleep was disturbed, even his body was squeezed, now the rancid man was looking for trouble with him, by saying himself a stupid servant!

Taking a deep breath and exhaling violently, Hanna turned around and walked back to the side of the bed.

A million gestures he had prepared, however, seeing the man's face slumbering he did not reach the heart to wake Alex up, wanting to ask the man for an explanation. In fact, the man was just delirious.

Alex's slap in the face makes Hanna die of motion. Intention to get out soon, now forgotten for a moment. Hanna was standing in front of the man, looking down at the handsome face of the Greek god.

"The slug..," muttered Hanna. However, upon awakening, the girl immediately straightened her body, shaking her head so that the shadow of Alex's handsome face disappeared from her memory.

Julia's morning begins with shock to find Hanna sleeping in her bed. As she remembered they had their own rooms, but why was Hanna by her side?

"Hanna, wake. Why are you even here? Don't tell me that you have a walking disease while you're sleeping" Julia pulled her best friend's blanket over her face and all over.

For the second time, Hanna pulled the blanket, and again covered her face. He has been awake since. In fact, you could say, he had not fallen asleep at all.

And this was all because of the man who was currently sleeping next to their room. Hanna's brain was filled with Alex's face as well as the man's athletic body.

"You don't want to answer me?" julia was upset. Pulling the blanket with all her might until Hanna's face was seen.

"Jeez, Hanna. What the hell happened to you? there's a black line under your eyes" Julia said, drawing her face closer to Hanna's.

"Julia, slow down your voice, and let me sleep for a while. Lady Abigail was back in the afternoon anyway" Hanna turned her back, away from the probing gaze of her friend.

Regarding the events in her room last night, Hanna wouldn't tell anyone, even if it was Julia. Yeah, maybe for now, don't know if later.

At 10am, Hanna wakes up. Shower alone, without Mery helping. Now the body feels fresh, rushing to find Julia out, just then Julia was about to go to the room to pick her up.

"Finally you're out too, I'm hungry" he said back to the dining room.

"You haven't had breakfast? why wait for me?" Hanna is being unkind to Julia.

The dishes at the Cambridge residence are very special. Lots of good food that even the two girls had never eaten.

"Am I at home wrong until I wake up to see a pretty girl here?" men's voices from behind took their meal time.

"Hanna, stand. Greet His Grace," whispered Julia elbowing Hanna's arm, but Hanna's response and reaction were cold not caring.

"Good morning Lady Clifford, never expected to meet you here" Alex had approached and stood not far from Hanna. The girl did not care, still continued to stir her corn soup without tasteful to eat it.

Hanna knows, Alex accidentally didn't say hello to her even thinking she wasn't there. Wanting to provoke Hanna's reaction to the man's humiliation.

"Good morning, Lord. Lady Cambridge invited us, I mean, to invite Hanna to a tea party, and I asked Hanna to accompany her" Julia said.

"Oh, so. Can I join you here? my stomach was hungry" said Alex pulling up a chair and sitting in the main seat, still maintaining his gaze not even a single glance at Hanna.

"You know, Miss Clifford, last night I had a dream of a stupid waitress coming into my room and trying to knock me out of bed" Alex murmured as he began to eat the food the waiter was serving.

"Servant? into your room, My Lord?" sambar Corazon, the butler in the house was shocked. How as if his servant was presumptuous to disturb the Duke of Claymore's sleep.

"Yes, I guess the girl must have had a bad temper, because she had been sassy to enter my room," he said, smiling, which no one saw. Alex realized, his behavior provoked Hanna further upset the girl.

"Sorry, which room are you in? I didn't see you coming, my Lord." Corazon is confused. He remembered his guest who came last night only these two young ladies and also a man who before night had already gone home.

"Of course in my room. The room I used to live in," he murmured.

"I'm sorry my Lord, but that room was last night occupied by Miss Jhonson," Corazon murmured in shock. Julia even slumped backwards, while closing her mouth. Only the reaction from Hanna was different. Lay down the spoon slowly, then clean the corners of his lips with a napkin.

"Thank you for the breakfast, Corazon, it's really delicious. Excuse me first" said Hanna, suppressing her anger, not provoked by Alex's lure.

"Hanna, so last night you slept with His Grace?" julia's innocence spontaneously appeared as usual. Making the screeches of the two servants who stood to serve them during the meal sounded.

Following her heart's wishes, Hanna was eager to turn the table around and began to strangle the neck of the man who was still able to calmly enjoy his wine.

"Of course I don't sleep with.. His Grace, if that's what you want to know. He went into the room and when I felt something heavy, you know, like a sack of rotten yam on my body that was covered in blankets, I chose to push the load, so I can breathe" he said. Giving a pause to his sentence, then with his tail his eyes glanced at Alex who was still calm again.

"When I realized that the shameless intruder was..His Grace, I chose to get out of the room and as you know, I slept in your room" Hanna said firmly.

This time, Alex did not bother to hide his smile, not even a long time later he laughed widely.

Hanna squinted one eye, squeezed the side of her dress, and ended up bending her legs saluting and immediately left from there.

"Hanna, wait for me," Julia followed the girl who was walking towards the garden of the house.

"Have you really slept with Alex?" whispered Julia who still did not understand the meaning of anger on her best friend's face.
