Not wanting to be a plumbing material, Alex goes over to Hanna. "I'm sorry for ending your night, Beautiful, but if we don't leave soon, people will start gossiping. Come on, let's say good night to your parents," urged Alex, but he himself didn't want to leave either, and annoyed at being kicked out of his own fucking party at his own fucking house by his own fucking guest, which he instantly realizes, is a ridiculous idea that the groom thought of on the bridal night, especially when the groom is himself.
With a smile, Alex shook his head at the thought of the ironic idea.
Unfortunately, Alex was still smiling when she saw Hanna say good night to her family, and her father misrepresented Alex's smile as a grin, feeling entitled to frown sharply and cast a denouncing gaze towards the groom. Stuart has clearly not given up his beloved daughter to the man.
Alex stiffened from the silent reprimand and felt unfairly treated, then he could only flatly say, "We'll meet you at breakfast." Although Alex originally intended to kindly say good night to her in-laws.
Without saying anything, Alex led Hanna down a long corridor from the west wing. Tensions ambush Hanna as they cross the balcony, and on the steps of the stairs, Hanna's steps slow down. But Alex is having a new problem and doesn't realize it. Does he have to take Hanna to his room, or does he have to take her to his own room?
Many servants were wandering about in this cursed place, and Alex did not want the fact that there was no husband-wife affection on the night their bride was known to the maid.
Alex has just decided to take Hanna to the woman's own room when two male servants climb the stairs and feel guilty like thieves in his own house, Alex quickly changes direction, making a move, back up and open the door to her room.
She had already walked into the bedroom before realizing Hanna stopped at the doorway and stared frantically at the large bed. "Come here, darling," he said, glancing down the corridor quickly forcibly pulled Hanna in. "There's nothing to be afraid of here, there's no crazy man who's going to attack you."
Hanna shook her head, as if she was getting rid of the fear that she had not even gone through, just hearing from Julia alone. Then he stepped in. With a sigh of relief, Alex closed the door behind them and led Hanna to a long green sofa on the right side of the fireplace, across the chair.
Alex was about to sit next to Hanna on the sofa, glancing at her charming wife's face and thinking it would be best if she sat down in the chair that was in front of Hanna.
"Hanna couldn't possibly sleep in her room tonight just like I couldn't sleep in my room" Alex broke up thinking for a moment. Because the servants would find it strange if their beds were both bedded.
Hanna has to sleep on Alex's bed and the man will sleep on the couch. Alex looked at Hanna. Hanna's dark head turned towards the blazing fire in the fireplace, away from the big bed on the low stage. Alex just realized Hanna must be wondering why she, if the man did intend to keep his promise, did not take Hanna to the woman's bedroom, but to Alex's own room. "You should be here, beautiful. Otherwise the waiter will gossip. I'll sleep on the couch."
Hanna looked up at Alex, and smiled, as if Hanna's mind had drifted away.
After a moment of awkwardness, Alex asked, "Do you want to talk?"
"Yes" said Hanna instantly.
"What do you want to talk about?"
"Oh. anything."
Alex spins the brain looking for something interesting to discuss, but Alex's brain and body are fixated on Hanna's pleasant existence in the bedroom. "Today's weather was very good" Alex said at the end. He could have sworn to see laughter flashing across Hanna's face, or was it just the light of fire?
"Yes, you're right," Alex said short and then still thinking about what else they'd discuss. Usually they could always talk comfortably without being awkward, but tonight, both of them were like outsiders, the first ones to meet. Damnit damnit!
"Are you hungry?" alex glanced at his wife.
"Very full" said Hanna, giving her most beautiful smile.
Yeah, God! Alex hoped that Hanna would not stare at him with glittering green eyes and smile in such a seductive manner. Not tonight. There was a slow knock on Alex's bedroom door and Hanna's bedroom door. "Who's the..?"
"I think it was Mery," said Hanna already standing up and looking around looking for the connecting door leading to the woman's bedroom. Alex walked up to the door leading to the corridor, opened it, and stared dejectedly at his own personal servant, who said flatly. "Good night, Your Grace," and automatically stepped into the room. Goddamnit!
Alex forgets his personal servant and Hanna's servant. For Alex himself, he felt his passionate nerves would not be too tormented if they slept in full clothes.
Inwardly, Alex curses all the maids, shows Hanna the connecting door, then turns and walks into the co-working space that merges with her bedroom, forgetting her personal servant presence in the room.
Staring at the book on the wall, Alex tries to decide what to read.
"Yes, Lord, on my bridal night, should I think of my reading materials?" his mind groaned inwardly.
"After eight weeks of passion under control, why is Hanna so scared? And what madness possessed me to make such a promise with her, which only made me suffer even more!" he screamed in his heart again. All of that is only dare he squealed in his heart only.
As Alex reached out to grab a book, Cadbury walked slowly into the study. "Can I help you, Your Grace?"
Alex jerked his hands off the bookshelf in shame, turning to face the goddamn personal servant. "I'll call you if I need you!" alex said briefly, trying to hide his irritation.
The waiters will say Alex looks as nervous as a child on the bridal night if he snaps and growls. "That's it, Cadbury. Good night," Alex added, leading his surprised-looking servant to the door, pushing the maid into the corridor, and locking the door to her room.
Alex walked back to the study, removed his jacket and scarf and unbuttoned the top two shirts. After opening the lid of a drink bottle at the desk, he poured a large glass of brandy, then took a book from one of the shelves, sat down and stuck out his long legs. Wanting to relax, he took a sip of brandy and read the same paragraph four times before finally giving up and closing the book aloud.
Alex was really upset at himself, and rather shocked, as he felt very uneasy about having one night of celibacy.
After eight weeks he was able to hold back, then why is one more night so meaningful. He could definitely hold her back, until Hanna accepted herself in that woman.
Cih, imagining their struggle alone has made the flow of blood turbulent.
