CPTR VI: The Strongest

After the doctor helped Mona apply some medicine on her finger surface, the doctor handed her a prescription.

"The analysis is quite wide but I've treated it. You're lucky someone brought you here quickly, if the infection will be more troublesome. I'll give you this medicine, use it in time so the wound doesn't get inflamed. Also, for the next few days do not let the wound get wet.”

Mona nodded slightly. “Thank you doctor.”

“Do not worry, be careful next time.”

Mona nodded at the doctor and walked out of the room. There Devin was waiting for him. They walk in stifling silence. The sound of their footsteps resounded in the empty corridor.

Devin walked in front while Mona followed right behind him. Their rhythmic footsteps sounded very different on this empty footpath.

They both said nothing

When they walked out of the hospital, it was still raining and the sky had already turned dark. Street lights on the sidewalk are also lit.

“Thank you so much for helping me today.” Mona raised her bound hands and tried to make an elegant smile.

Devin nodded before he replied gently, “You've already said thank you to me more than ten times today.”

“Yeah, I'm a bumbling cunt. Hmm, I have to go home now.”

“Ah, of course. Be careful lah.”

“Do you want to be delivered?” bargain Mona.

“It seems unnecessary. I have to get my car at the restaurant. Besides, the sooner you get home, the better it is for you. Don't forget to take your medicine.”

Mona nodded then waved at Devin who was walking away. Mona got into her car and sat in the steering wheel. He leaned back and looked at the overcast night sky. Although this cannot be called a date, Mona felt a speck of bright light in her heart.

It made her smile on her own.

While Mona has to spend her Sunday night in a downtown hospital, Gama has to work with her two cousins on this cold night.

The three walk into a nightclub called BLOCLK. But the three of them are not here to party and enjoy the night but to do the task that their grandfather had given them.

At the entrance, the two nightclub guards quickly recognized the figure of the three. They were about to stop Gama and his two cousins. But the youngest cousin Sonny took out two hundred thousand pieces for the guards and put them in their shirt pouches. They were also left to enter.

His third step when entering the club tonight impressed relaxed with a clear powerful aura. The sound of disco music with typical flickering lights makes the atmosphere tonight feel so blaring.

This nightclub called BLOCLK is a nightclub belonging to the family of their rival, the Kaligis family. They were once criminal associates together but separated as a result of the Kaligis family interfering with the election of the head of the Kolandam family, the Gamaliel family and his cousin.

The people who realized the figure of the three instantly opened a path for them. The three who wore black suits, black vests, red ties and a small brooch at the end of the collar of their white shirt symbolizing the Colandam family symbol were enough to make people afraid to stare at them for long.

Their unstable and overly formal dressings make people curious. The three passed the dance floor and took place at one of the tables away from the crowd of the dance floor.

But at the table inhabited a visitor with a number of women rent. Gama approached him and said, “We've ordered this table. Go.”

“Hah? People have no reservation!” reply the man with a defiant tone.

Sonny Gama's youngest cousin caught the man's neck and said, “If you don't believe we can finish it outside now.”

The man's eyes widened then hurriedly got up from his seat. A number of his hired women followed him and they went off to run away the ridge leaving Gama and his cousins.

The third sat down, a waiter passed by then a cousin who was the same age as Gama named Toni said, “Give us a bottle of vodka.”

“FAST!” sonny shouted as the maid passed in front of him.

Gama took out a pack of cigarettes and lit them. Sonny looked around then said, “Ah, they're all here, Gam. Cousins, daughters-in-law, even the distant family of the Kaligis are all here. Are you sure you want to do this?”

Gama took his cigarette deep and exhaled it. “Somebody's dead tonight, Sonny. Even if there is no way from the Kolandam or Kaligis family. You must learn to relax if the work starts.”

Sonny nodded to Gama's advice.

Moments later the waiter brought the drink they asked for. Sonny opened the bottle and poured it in the glass of his two older cousins.

Suddenly from the direction of the bar appeared the manager of the club who walked up to them.

“Gentlemen, forgive me, but you all have to go from here.”

Sonny sipped his drink until it ran out then said, “We just bought one bottle, what the hell is this? You think we don't have money? Can't afford that?”

“Sure, it's not so, gentlemen. Some members of the Kaligis family here recognize the three of you. Especially you, Mr.” manager was staring intently at Gama.

“Then? What's the problem?” ask Toni who's starting to slacken.

“They say only by coming this way gentlemen are provoking a war between families.”

Gama chuckles and says, “Tell the Caligists that we are here to relax. This club is the best club in the city.”

Not yet had the manager reply suddenly a vodka bottle thrown from another corner of the room landed right on their table.

“FUCK YOU KOLANDAM!”

Gama hit the table and got up from his seat. Behind him was a man preparing to attack but Gama quickly punched him right in the face and paralyzed him instantly.

The blow quickly paved the way for a more bessar fight.5 The Caligis men instantly attacked the three of them at once, yet they were no match for Gama and his cousins at all.

The youngest Sonny took another bottle of alcohol from the table around and hit it hard on the head of the man who was about to attack him. Meanwhile Toni dodged and buried her enemy's face to her knees.

Their fight was quickly won by the three Colandam men. But the sound of firing a gun was heard and it quickly stole everyone's attention.

The DJ stops the song, the lights are turned on, and the fights stop. Gama looked at the figure who had just fired a warning shot at the club ceiling. It was a Caligian woman.

Gama looked at the woman and walked towards her. The woman now points a gun at Gama and says, “Go now to Kolandam if you still want to live.”

Gama walked right into firing the woman and said, “Oh huh? You're gonna shoot us with that heh, auntie?”

They looked at each other for quite a while. Not long after that the woman turned her gaze away and lowered her weapon. Gama smiled seeing this.

“It seems aunty is not brave enough to fire it.”

The game rotates facing all the club visitors. “We are Kolandam family. We are not here to seek the enemy. We're here to be friends. These Kaligis are not able to protect their own club, how can they protect you businessmen?”

Gama looked towards a group of middle-aged men who were the CEOs of a famous company in the city. Gama smiled at them and nodded. They also nodded politely to reply to Gama.

“For those of you who want to work together, you know how to find us Kolandam.”

That way Gama and his cousin left the nightclub with a big win in their hands. They succeeded in asserting to business people that the Kolandam family is the best family in an underground business like this.

“Lo all right, Son?” gama asked Sonny, who had been holding his mouth full of blood.

“I think my back teeth are dislodged, deh.”

Toni chuckles, “We go to the dentist tomorrow. What now, Gam?”

Gama chuckles, “Where to go to eat at Bu Ina's shop?”
