CPTR XXVII: First Attack

A sudden thunderous sound filled the night sky. The people who were in the plaza hurriedly fled to save their lives.

A group of Kolandam got out of the car and started shooting at the Kaligis family's safe house. The safe house located in the shopping center was immediately bombarded with bullets that penetrated blindly.

Gama got out of the car and pulled a hand grenade and threw it at the window. A few seconds later, a huge explosion occurred.

His thump was heard up to several kilometers away. After being content to destroy the Kaligis family safe house in the city center, Gama slowly approached its entrance.

Several other members of the Kolandam family followed Gama from behind. Gama kicked the door of the hiding house and slowly entered the house.

　

Upon arrival inside, Gama immediately gave a code for all its members to search the entire room. Wood chips and broken glass fill the floor surface.

After a while checking the entire house, they finally found nothing.

Gama's cousin Sonny emerged from the kitchen and said, “They're not here. Seems like it's been gone since.”

Gama nodded.

But suddenly from the top floor there was a scream and soon the people of the Kolandam family said, “Bos! We found them!”

Gama and Sonny hurriedly ran up to make sure.

They turned in the hallway towards the storage room. There they found a woman hiding and shivering in fear.

The people of Kolandam founded the woman in front of Gama and then Gama asked, “What's your name?”

“Ri-Riza, Sir! Please, don't kill me!”

Gama glanced at Sonny who quickly checked the list of high-ranking Kaligis. There was no name or photo of Riza there.

Sonny shook his head and Gama continued to ask, “What is your job here?”

“I'm just a secretary!”

“So. Why isn't anyone here?”

“They all went a few hours ago.”

“Where?”

“The head of the Kaligis family is in town. All members are needed for its guard.”

Gama nodded small, “Thank you, Riza. You can go now.”

Riza's smile quickly spread wide. The woman grabbed Gama's hand and kissed him as a sign of gratitude.

The woman ran down the hall and as she was about to turn, Gama pulled the trigger and shot her in the head.

Sonny who was beside Gama swallowed his saliva. Gama then went to the office right in front of him and ordered his men to search.

“Gam, really need to kill the secretary?” ask Sonny.

“He's not lucky. Even if we release him, the Caligists will still kill him.”

“Why?”

“He just leaked family information. In this business, the law of silence is absolute.”

Sonny nodded small trying to get used to it.

“The computer uses a password. Should we take it?” ask a man.

“Enter in the car.”

Everyone nodded and obeyed Gama's orders. Gama watched the entire office and looked around. This office looks so conventional and inconspicuous.

This hiding house must be where they do small negotiations and hear the complaints of their clients.

Suddenly Gama's phone rang and it was a call from the police commissariat, Gama immediately picked up the phone.

“You guys are still long? I have to send people there! I continue to receive 20 complaints from residents around plaza.”

“No, you can send it now.”

“Oke, thanks!”

Gama walked out of the room and kept going down. Once there he got into the car and told Sonny to tell everyone they were leaving.

Gama looked out the window where his work was displayed. The safe house was destroyed with small holes around it.

Even so, now Gama's mind moved quickly to think of the next step. The arrival of the head of the Kaligis family meant that they were now preparing an army for a counterattack.

Gama started to bite his finger. Bad habit when you think hard. Sonny finally got into the car and sat down next to Gama and they were ready to leave.

Along the way, Gama kept turning his brain trying to guess what Kaligis was doing. By gathering troops it means they are preparing to attack.

But where will they attack?

Or maybe they didn't attack and just did guards?

Besides, there's Felix and now the head of their family. They definitely need extra care.

Gama looked at the skyscrapers next to him and finally decided to stay in their original plan.

Gama had ordered another team led by his cousin Toni to search the other Kaligis hideouts.

Gama pulled out his phone and tried to contact.

There's no answer.

Gama tried again.

Still no answer.

Suddenly, his feelings were not good. It's not usually Toni doesn't answer the phone.

Seeing Gama's unease, Sonny next to him then said, “Maybe he's done and is now on his way.”

Gamma does not. His feelings are still not good.

When finally the traffic lights turned green, the car they were riding in finally walked back. But just as Gama's car was in the middle of a crossroad, Gama quickly realized something was wrong.

A truck from the side drove at high speed towards them.

Gama's eyes widened and immediately realized he was in danger.

But it's all too late.

The truck hit Gama's car at full force and threw it all the way to the other side of the road.

For those moments that felt so slow, Gama could feel a tremendous dizziness as his car floated in the air. When his car finally lands and hits a street pole, Gama crashes into Sonny and the two are thrown out through the windshield.

Gama quickly tried to get up, his black suit was quickly filled with bloodstains. He tried several times, but fell back.

Next to him Sonny was still lying unconscious and covered in blood. When Gama finally tightened his legs to stand up, the sight of the shootout again occurred.

The Kaligis got out of the truck and started shooting at the Gama people who were still trapped in the car.

Gama gulped and hurriedly walked over to Sonny.

“Sonny! Hey!”

Gama turns Sonny to face him and finds Sonny unconscious. Gama snorted in annoyance then quickly pulled Sonny and grabbed him.

There was a speck of thought to go there and join the fight with his men, but Gama hastily undo his intentions.

They just got ambushed. Fighting back is useless. So Gama decided to go with Sonny who was still covered in blood.

Gama hurriedly joined the sidewalk where the night walkers looked at the bloodstained ones in astonishment.

Gama continued to stumble, with his legs slowly beginning to numb, but he continued to walk and ignored the pain that was slowly becoming more apparent.

When Gama finally found a taxi that was stopping on the street, Gama immediately opened the door and sat Sonny in the passenger seat.

Meanwhile Gama sat in the passenger seat on the other side.

“Hey man, what happened to you guys? Should I call an ambulance?” ask the young taxi driver.

Gama pulled out the gun from behind his suit and pointed it right at the driver's axe and said, “Jalan.”

The driver raised his hand and frantically carried out Gama's orders.

Gama glanced back, seeing his men who had given up on being caught and put in the truck.

Gama bit his finger. His mind raged wondering how Kaligis knew his plan.
