CPTR XXIV: Devin Guest
Mona was sitting in the living room of her mother's house in more decent clothes than this morning. Luna's black dress is now attached to her body fused and preparing for her dinner with Devin.
Perhaps more precisely his dinner with Devin accompanied by mama and Luna. Mona for the umpteenth time heaved a heavy sigh.
The care of his mother is nothing new. But that doesn't mean Mona is used to it. For some reason when dealing with his mother he could never refuse.

“What are you doing here?” ask mom in a harsh tone.
Papa Mona smiled and replied, “Mona is beautiful. Isn't it Mon?”
Mona nodded. Mama looked at Mona with annoyance. Mona is smiling too.
Looks like Mona also inherited a bit of their mama's cunning gene. More than that Devin who stood behind papa suddenly stole the attention of mama and quickly mama directly walked towards him.
Mama deliberately pushed papa aside and quickly greeted Devin.

Mama immediately turned cheerful, “Then let's eat son. Come, this way.”
The four of them went to the dining room and sat in their seats. Mama and papa sat at opposite ends of the table while Mona was next to Luna on the left and Devin on the right.
The housekeeper immediately served their food and poured wine for mama. He also asked for the same wine.
When the vegetable dish was placed on the table, the mother immediately stopped the housekeeper and said, “No need to bring dishes that have cabbage vegetables. The old man had health problems with cabbage.”
Mona, who often forgets, sometimes invites her papa to eat at restaurants and order carelessly. But different from his mother who still remembers.
After a while, Mama again stopped the waiter and made various requests to get rid of or add food on the table. All of that was done solely for her ex-husband who had to be careful with food.
Seeing this all Mona smiled widely. Even though they got divorced, my mom still cares about me. At least about the food.
After everything has been arranged, the western-style dinner is now ready to be eaten. Seeing all this makes the appetite all increase.
Mama smiled proudly with Luna cooking and makakata, “Let's eat!”
They nodded and began to take the menu as they pleased. Luna takes the salad, mama and papa share grilled fish, while Devin soups the meat. Mona who was not too hungry decided to just take a piece of boiled sausage.
Seeing this Devin instantly took another small bowl for meat and said, “Please try. Is the salt already fitting?”
Mona frowned, “You're sneaky.”
Devin just smiled. Seeing Mona and Devin's behavior, the three of them could only stare at the astonishment not understanding. But after seeing Mona eat from the bowl given by the mother immediately smiled.
“Wah, can also be your style, son. Looks like we have to invite you every meal.”
Devin gave a small nod while wiping his mouth and asked, “Mona is hard to eat huh?”
Papa swallowed his food and replied, “This child has been hard to eat from a long time ago. Not just hard to eat, hard to sleep, hard to say. Anyway it's been hard deh.”
Mona immediately pouted said so. Devin who heard this replied, “Haha but I like Mona like that.”
Everyone looked at Devin. Say like so bluntly especially in front of his parents need extra courage from a man.

Suddenly Devin's phone rang and he said, “Sorry, my coworker called.”
Devin stood up and immediately went to the living room to answer his phone. Meanwhile, the mother who had observed Mona's facial reaction said, “Mama likes her. You guys fit.”
Luna nodded, “Iya sis, you guys fit.”
Papa grunts, “Who used to dong who knows!”
“Ah, This Old Man is really annoying.” says mom.
“Whatever happens later Mon, do not forget that papa who knows! You will be a great mistress if you marry the heir of Dubois.”
Mona just nods and then sips her soup.
After a long phone call in the living room, Devin returned to the dining room. Devin pulled his chair back and said, “Sorry, I have a really sudden affair. Can I bring my coworkers here?”
“Sure. Just take it.” replied mom.
Devin nodded and sent a message to his friend. The four of them returned to eating quietly. After 10 minutes, the doorbell rings again. That's Devin's coworker.
The housekeeper escorted Devin's guests into the dining room and when the man appeared in the doorway, Mona glanced at him, Mona choked on the meat she was about to swallow.
Luna hurriedly patted Mona on the back and Mona hurriedly picked up a tissue to wash her mouth.
“Why are you, baby?” ask mama.
“A-Ah…. No, Ma....”.
“Hmm, jaudah. Hello, let's sit down. What's your name?”
“Gamaliel.”
Gama took a seat next to Devin and Mona looked at him wildly.
The unpleasant atmosphere at dinner should continue.
