Chapter 280

Ratna was already sitting in Diana's apartment parking lot when Jimmy hurriedly walked past her.

“How are you, Jimmy?” greet Ratna.

“Ratna? Why is it here?” reply Jimmy surprised.

“Loe itself what is here?” sahut Ratna asked back.

“Gue pick up Aditya. We have to go to Bandung this morning as well,” replied Jimmy did not stop his steps.

Ratna remained silent, following the police steps until she got into the elevator. They did not talk to each other and stood a bit apart, until the two of them came out on the floor where Diana lived.

“Kok can you pick him up? What is the business in Bandung?” ratna's real question already knows that this must be all about Frita.

“Frita is in danger,” said Jimmy Short.

“Yes, geez. What the hell is this? Once Aditya can live in peace, you are all there to mess it up.”

Jimmy suddenly stopped stepping, looking deeply into Ratna's eyes, but he said nothing. Jimmy stepped to Diana's door, and rang the bell.

Diana greeted Jimmy in surprise. “Who is it?”

“I'm Aditya's friend. My name is Jimmy.” The policeman reached out to get acquainted.

Diana greeted him kindly. He saw Ratna peering over Jimmy's shoulder.

“He's my friend who will take me to Frita,” Aditya said from the inside. He talked to Diana.

They are both welcome to enter.

“You want to go?” ratna asked Aditya who looked neat.

“Ya.”

Ratna doesn't know what to say. If he forbade Aditya to leave, he might even be angry with him. If he let it go, he doesn't know if there's still a chance.

“Already, Ratna. I don't want to bother you anymore,” said Aditya who after hugging Diana for a while. He nodded steadily at Jimmy, the signal was ready to unplug.

“I have the right to do whatever I want,” Ratna said flatly.

“Alright if that's what you want,” Aditya said.

Aditya thanked Diana, then did not forget he left a phone number for the girl. Who knows, they might need his help. Either Aditya doesn't know what he can do to repay Diana's entire kindness.

Ratna takes her own car, urging Aditya to come with her alone. No objection from Jimmy. Anyway, Jimmy's still embarrassed or unwell about Sherly talking last night. Jimmy's more comfortable driving a car alone.

“You have not been divorced in fact,” sahut Ratna flat.

Ratna was silent for a moment, trying to figure out a way, thinking of something how this man could give her another chance for him.

“Entahlah. I don't know if I can marry another woman besides her,” Aditya replied.

Ratna looked annoyed. “Even if the other woman is me?” suddenly tanyanya.

Once in Bandung, their first destination was Pandu Saputra house. That's where Jimmy said Frita was.

Pandu just said, “I don't know who to talk to. Even Gina herself could not help much. He instead went out of nowhere, leaving me here alone with Frita.”

Aditya certainly did not forget to apologize for the incident at Ovie's birthday party. He felt very guilty for hurting Frita. But here Jimmy explains if all of that is misunderstood.

“Maybe Aditya's past isn't what you expected, Mr. Pandu. But he's not the one who impregnated Sherly. I can make sure of that,” said Jimmy.

Ratna, who had been silent from the start, could only snort short.

Eventually Frita could be persuaded to meet. But he only talked to the police. Jimmy may have been so interested in having Frita, but now it's all over. He can make peace with his own circumstances. That's why he is determined to help Aditya.

“All that's a lie. Even the photos that you see are just engineering Ovie and Setiawan Budi family. Especially Rama. He has a long-standing grudge against Aditya,” explained Jimmy in front of Frita.

At that time Aditya and Ratna were in the living room with Pandu. Frita sat in the kitchen with Jimmy.

“Then, with whom is Sherly pregnant?” asked Frita for an answer. He looks quite relieved after hearing some explanations about the women in Aditya's past in the photo. Now she wonders how Sherly accused her husband of impregnating her?

“You know for yourself Sherly loved Aditya so much. But it's over. Me and Sherly are dating. That's our son, Frita,” Jimmy replied.

“You didn't lie with all this testimony of yours, did you?” frita, who no longer knows what to say.

“For God's sake. That's both of our kids. I promised to marry Sherly at that time,”, Jimmy said, holding Frita's hand.

To make Frita fully believe, Jimmy calls Sherly via video call. The two women cried and apologized.

Frita then wiped away her tears. He is very relieved, despite a little heartache and jealousy over the adventures of***Aditya in the past. He is obviously very angry with Aditya about it, but Aditya did not betray their marriage.

Aditya goes to the kitchen along with the completion of Jimmy's testimony. He approached and awkwardly tried to grab Frita's hand. Frita still looks frozen, even though she can accept her husband again.

It didn't take long until the two of them hugged each other and cried.

Jimmy slowly backed away leaving them alone in the kitchen. He certainly felt hurt also for the actions of Sherly who ‘ tempted’ Aditya on that lonely night, but anyway he had already loved Sherly and promised to build a new life with the woman.

Ratna was seen standing stunned in the hallway leading to the kitchen. His heart was clearly wounded. And he knew he wouldn't be able to have Aditya.

Anyway, he now feels ridiculous.
