Moon In Hugs
Chapter 239

Aditya stepped into Uncle Salim's living room.

He immediately approached the uncle who was sitting in his chair beside Deri.

“Uncle, is it okay?” ask Aditya worriedly.

“I'm fine, Dit,” replied Uncle.

“Loe how?” ask Yusi to Deri.

“Severe. Dirga's friend Bandi accused me of killing his friend and his younger brother!” bright Deri with annoyance.

“But they know you're not the culprit, right?”

“Ya, clear.”

Deri then told anyone who died suddenly until this afternoon. There are 38 people in total. Another addition along their journey from the sub-district field here, which Aditya knows enough because he was his childhood friend.

Many of Aditya's names are known in the list of victims that Deri deliberately made. From that list, it looks right that the perpetrator did it without motive. It's even very random and irregular. The way the victims died was also different.

“Something suspicious lately?” ask Aditya.

“We just arrived from Bandung when Dirga was reported dead yesterday. But all the normal people say. Nothing strange,” Deri replied with a hundred percent confident expression.

“There are foreigners to this village?”

“Not really.”

Aditya feels strange, but it is very possible that the culprit is hiding in a certain place in a corner of the village. It is most likely in the forest on the southeast and east sides of the village. There is a teak forest that is not too broad. Maybe people should look for him there.

“Later tonight people started patching again. Doors locked. All have agreed to cooperate,” said Deri.

Aditya felt like everything was going right. So he decided to go to the bathroom first. Shaking his head for a while there felt like it would be very good for him.

When he came out of the bathroom, Aditya was surprised to see the figure of Ratna there.

“Ratna?! Why are you here?!” ask Aditya who is now seen to have a wound on his chest.

The roles must be replaced. The nurse's stitches at Sherly's house last night seemed to have been removed somehow.

“You why this?” tanya Ratna then approached Aditya.

“Think of length.”

Ratna asked Garin to help her get her here to get the P3K box in her car.

“In the dash board, covered in a washcloth,” shouted Ratna at Garin who had run outside the house.

“OK,” said Garin faint sounding voice.

A few seconds later, they still did not suspect anything.

Half a minute passed, when Aditya had been sitting too long while Ratna was in front of him while examining his injuries, Garin had not returned.

“Loe to where anyway, Gar?” ratna shouted annoyed. Then the girl followed her friend out.

Aditya, Deri, Yusi, and Uncle Salim were shocked to hear Ratna's loud and sudden cry.

Ratna screamed as she saw Garin now lying lifeless, with a gunshot wound to his head. He was lying right next to Ratna's car, with his hand holding a P3K box.

“Yes, now what do we do?” ask Yusi.

Ratna felt there was no time to be sad. They ran back into Uncle Salim's house after he picked up the P3K box.

“Dit, here I change your bandage!” ratna said with a tense face. Tears ran down her face, but the girl looked ready if asked to beat someone up.

The problem is, Ratna and Aditya don't know who they should beat.

Aditya asked as Ratna treated the wound on her chest, “Why can you be here, Ratna?”

“I tapped your phone, Dit. I'm sorry yes,” replied Ratna flatly.

“But, you know this place, my village, is now in danger, right?” Aditya.

“Yes, I know and I do intend to help.”

Aditya paused for a moment, then returned to his voice after Ratna narrowly tied the bandage to his chest, and immediately prepared to take the weapon in his car very carefully. The girl sneaked towards the front door.

“Wait, where are you going?” ask Aditya.

“My gun in the car!”

“Wear this alone, Ratna!” cut off Yusi, who is handing out Aditya's bag. There were a number of rifles and pistols and either weapon was possible for their current situation.

Uncle Salim was asked to stay under the table, in the corner of the room where there was a closet and a pile of wood nearby, so that the position would be safe for him. No sniper or assailant could hurt him. The attacker, whoever he is, must go through the front and back doors that are now guarded by the four of them.

“Who do you think this is?” aditya asked Ratna.

“Maybe I know a little information about that person. A few minutes ago I asked my acquaintance hackers for help to track suspicious activity from this village via satellite, and met.” Ratna opened her smartphone and showed me a photo.

“Who is he?”

“Takeshi Yobu's. Samurai of Japanese origin. Soldiers fired for breaking the rules. Reportedly also a hitman. But that's all we can know,” explained Ratna.

Aditya looked at the photo of Yobu. His thick eyebrows that show firmness. His sharp eyes that signify stubbornness. I don't know who this guy is and what business he's doing killing the village people.

Since the situation out there is so dark, Aditya and the others can only wait until the villain attacks them. Maybe Yobu does not work alone, it could be that he brought some people, right?

“Here it says he always works alone. A mysterious lone wolf from a haunted valley in Japan. That's his nickname,” Ratna said.

“Can be it a trick. So that people like us are not vigilant,” said Aditya.

They will remain in that position until tomorrow. When the atmosphere is very bright, outside life runs very slow. Only a handful of people dared to go out for a living. Most stay locked away.

“I don't know when to do this? We have to hunt down Takeshi Yobu, because otherwise we run out of time! We don't know what he has so far!” Aditya.

That was when the phone call from Bandung came. An encouraging news, that Christian Santoso managed to be arrested after the fight. A gunfight with the Night Squad left him injured and he swore no complacency during the trip to the police station.

Aditya is happy that Frita and her family are getting justice. The Green Devil now also has to be more careful to roam, because the police tighten the search on his figure.

What makes Aditya has not calmed down is another unknown figure named Takeshi Yobu.

“Who is he and what does it mean to attack this village? Is my hunch right? Ah, but that's impossible. Very unlikely!”

Aditya did not stop wondering until his uncle was finally shot that afternoon.
