Chapter 273

Frita prepared to go to the office when she saw the invitation tucked under her door.

“This is from whom, yes?” whispered slowly.

The ovie?

The name made Frita shocked and in disbelief, as well as happy. He even ran to the bathroom, scattering there, although Aditya had not finished washing his body with soap.

Frita doesn't care if she has to change clothes again because her clothes are wet. He was too happy.

“Ouch! What's the matter? You slow down dong!” said Aditya whose eyes ached into the soap.

“Mas, this is Ovie's birthday invitation!” said Frita.

“Ovie? That haughty Aunt Meilisa's son?” aditya replied as he continued to wash his eyes with cold water.

Frita nodded happily.

Aditya continued to wash, then bathed his face, and read the inscription on the invitation.

“Anniversary invitation for both of us?” aditya said astonished.

“Yes. He also wrote here, saying sorry because he did not have time to come to our wedding party at that time,” said Frita.

They then came out of the bathroom. Frita said, “We have to come. It's something nice to restore Mama's family relationship with Aunt Meilisa.”

“Ya, hopefully nothing happens.” I don't know why Aditya even said that. It was possible that he still could not get rid of the bad feeling after that time chatting together with Uncle Rudi.

Uncle Rudi said, “Your enemies are everywhere and sometimes you have to look with more open eyes. People who do not look evil to you, may be the cruelest.”

“You what the hell, Mas,” said Frita while pinching the stomach of Aditya who had not worn clothes.

“Even night already!” reply Frita while putting on a pouty face. Then Frita looked serious again. “What can happen, Mom? How can you be so suspicious anyway?”

“Neg. It was just a letting go. Hehe. Okay, we'll come there. With a note, this time I drive the car,” Aditya replied.

Frita would not support him.

After Aditya finished getting dressed, they left for the office.

Yes, it has been a week that they always leave together. Because Aditya has been given a job at the company Frita, to manage the marketing employees from the office. A fairly easy job for Aditya, and of course not risking life like before.

The party was held in one of the buildings in downtown Bandung. Ovie wants a festive party, attended by hundreds of friends and colleagues, both from himself and his papa family and mother.

Either Aditya and Frita do not know anyone they will meet there, but Aditya decided not to bother. He would come with his wife, through an hour or two at the party, and go home in peace.

“Hopefully nothing happened.” It continued to be spoken many times by his mind.

Aditya drove the car casually while incessantly thinking about that.

“Tumben you're not speeding?” ask Frita.

“Since we got married, haven't you always driven?” reply Aditya glanced at the wife flirtatiously.

“Eh, yes too. We're just passing by here, Mas.” Frita pointed to the turn of a fork. “Faster. The road ahead is jammed.”

“Oke.”

“Hmm. I can't wait to see Ovie. Hopefully later it will not be awkward, yes, Mas,” said Frita while looking at her own face with a mirror, then coating her lips again with lipstick.

“It looks like so.”

Clarissa was sitting in the back, but she didn't talk much, and just kept quiet. It's not sad or anything. Clarissa is busy playing games on her smart phone.

They arrived at the party fifteen minutes later. Aditya deliberately walked a bit behind, as his eyes were endlessly scanning the situation around the building. This is his habit as a watchful man.

“Nothing I know,” muttered to himself.

Frita and Clarissa joined hands a few meters in front of him.

Then Aditya was suddenly startled by someone's voice.

“Hey, Dude, how are you?”

Aditya was shocked. That's none other than Reza Bastomi! And, he stood with the Herman Kusuma. The figure that was noisy with him at The King's nightclub.

“Hei? You guys can be here, huh?” reply Aditya wonder. I don't know between wanting to get angry or getting to know them. But Reza and Herman's faces looked relaxed and friendly.

Reza instead said, “According to the happiness of loe's marriage, huh? Sorry that time made your first night uncomfortable.”

Of course Reza didn't say he sent The Green Devil, even though Aditya knew he did. Aditya just shut up and kept going. He had no interest in asking where they knew Frita's cousin, the Ovie.

But now Aditya begins to know he is on the verge of danger.

Aditya felt somewhat relieved after Frita and Ovie met. They look familiar again. Julio and Clarissa did.

They were chatting in a corner of the room, at a large table. A little far away from the guests.

The next unexpected surprise that befell Aditya comes with Hendy Prakoso. Sherly Embunsari looks so elegant with a dress that was deliberately ordered by Ovie from a famous designer.

Aditya doesn't know why Sherly's here?

“He knows Ovie?” ask him to yourself.

At that time Aditya was taking a drink, which was a bit far from Frita. She is uncomfortable as Sherly and Hendy approach Frita's desk.

Ovie greets Sherly, hugs her, and tells her to talk to Frita.

“What the fuck is that?” said Aditya who was feeling anxious.

Clarissa and Julio were sitting a little distance away with Frita. Don't know what Sherly Embunsari and Ovie are talking about to Frita. But they also know Frita is angry at Aditya.
