Chapter 198

“This poison can only be overcome in less than half an hour. Can you guys make sure of that?” ask Amy Aurora over the phone to Nancy.

“Can,” the woman answered anxiously while she was busy wearing lab clothes and looking around for masks to perfect her disguise.

“Once again, it's about someone's life. Over half an hour, your professor could die.”

“Yes, just calm down!” said Nancy.

Nancy already carries an antidote for the poison that controls Professor Joe's current blood circulation. He just needed to convince people to take the genius professor to a car to get out of here as far as possible in order to help him.

And, indeed he managed to instigate the lab workers to wait for Gunawan's decision shortly. When the drug boss arrives in front of the lab building, the car carrying Professor Joe, Nancy, and the three lab workers has left the site.

“Who leaves?” gunawan asked the workers standing there.

“Alex, Mina, and Kiko, Sir,” replied one of them.

Gunawan looks relieved. They are very loyal and reliable people. There will be no suspicious hospital party if the three of them drive.

“Four departing workers,” other lab workers said.

“Who's the other one?” ask Gunawan curious.

The workers looked at each other. They realized they did not recognize the woman who proposed to immediately take Professor Joe to the hospital. Gunawan is not suspicious yet. He decided to walk to the southeast warehouse to see how Aditya was working on his first assignment.

Of course in the car, Nancy was in action. As soon as they left the base, Nancy knocked out the three lab workers who were not really able to fight. He easily stopped the car after it hit Alex on the nape of the wheel.

“Hey, how do you do?!” mina asked in panic.

Nancy swiftly grabbed the weapon hidden behind her shorts and shot two lab employees sitting in the middle bench with Professor Joe until he collapsed. It's just dope and it won't kill them. So, Nancy had to rush down the three people and take the car away from the dirt road.

Nancy entered a small forest near the area when a phone came in.

“Ya?”

“Have succeeded?” ask the voice of the woman across the phone.

“I don't know yet how this antidote should be given!” reply Nancy panicked. “So you better hurry up here!”

Amy grumbled in her heart and asked where exactly the car was. “At the location I sent via SMS, right?” ask Amy.

“Ya!”

Amy Aurora appears from behind a tree. Fortunately, he was not far from there, so he could immediately give the antidote to the professor.

“You sure less than half an hour?” ask Amy worriedly.

“Twenty-eight minutes,” replied Nancy.

They exhale relief. Hope the professor is safe.

Professor Joe regains consciousness shortly after Nancy contacts Aditya to make sure their mission is nearly successful.

“Where is this?” ask the middle-aged man.

“In a safe place, Prof!” answer Amy.

“Already, you rest first,” said Nancy thrusting a bottle of water at the professor.

Professor Joe looks anxious, but now the anxiety on his face is much less than in the last few months. Somehow, he felt sure he was now with those who fought Gunawan Mahdi.

Unfortunately, for Aditya and Rudi, this escape is not easy. They found only one escape route, through the roof of the empty warehouse. Aditya had already reached the top of it when Gunawan banged on the door of the warehouse he had already sealed with an iron chain.

“Dit, let me in!” the old man shouted from outside.

“I'm not done yet, Mister!” answer Aditya.

“So, I want to see firsthand how you killed Jack's son-in-law!” gunawan said from the outside.

Aditya feels the bodo time. There's no time, he thought. Rudi was still able to climb the wooden crates stacked there, following Aditya to the top of the warehouse, where there was a hole that allowed them to see the top of a hill.

“It's forest. That's where Amy and Nancy are waiting,” Aditya said slowly to Rudi.

His dark-skinned colleague just nodded.

While they are trying to find a way down to the back of the warehouse, Gunawan is out there sounding more and more raging. He now realized something was wrong with this Aditya. The new boy must have done something that he did not like. After having his men break down the barn door, sure enough.

Aditya and Rudi are gone!

“Stat! Where are those people?! Hurry up and hunt them! Search until you can!” shouted Gunawan Mahdi with a shout.

“Can we directly relax, Mister?” ask a man.

In a fit of annoyance, Gunawan snatched the weapon from the man's hand and shot it in the head, leaving his men shocked.

“Nobody can kill them, except myself!”

So the pursuit began.

Aditya and Rudi successfully descend the roof of the warehouse through the tops of nearby trees. They ran through the forest whose land contours were uneven. It's just that, shortly after, the sound of off road cars hunting them.

“Sial! That's Gunawan's men!” Aditya.

Rudi did not say a word. Just looked back for a moment, and soon Aditya knew what they were supposed to do at the moment. Not far from there is a river where the water flows quite fast. That was their only chance of survival. They can't fight hundreds of armed men.

“Yes, you can swim of course, right?”

Finally they jumped into the swift flow of the river, leaving Gunawan's men who did not know where to hunt again. They searched around the riverbank, but did not meet either.
