Chapter 279

I don't know how many times Clarissa tried to call Aditya. He could not and did not want to lift it. He felt he had to come directly to Frita later when his body had recovered. He felt he had to speak with his wounded wife.

If he had called Frita, he would have picked up. Aditya seemed to be hoping for something impossible.

“Maybe the day after tomorrow I will return to Bandung,” he told Diana. “I've started to improve.”

At that time Ratna was staying at a hotel not far from Diana's apartment. Ratna went to Diana's aparetmen every morning, visiting Aditya. He didn't like to hear the idea.

“Solve this affair, Ratna. At least I can apologize directly to Frita.”

“Alright, I'll take you later,” Ratna said.

Diana was silent. He feels unconcerned here. He felt like an outsider. Diana could not do more. He is only able to manifest his admiration and love for Aditya with his simple act now: to help the man to get well soon.

Aditya got a call from an unknown number that afternoon. He sat alone with Diana. Ratna was out to buy something.

“Who is this?” greet Aditya.

“Halo, Dit. It's me, Jimmy Wijaya.”

Jimmy asks where Aditya is. Aditya explained after he asked Diana the address of her apartment.

“This is about Frita? What happened to him?” I don't know why Aditya asked like that.

“Kot more so. But this is more about self loe, Dit,” replied Jimmy.

Aditya feels weird. “What is my reason?”

“Wait for later. We better talk in person,” replied Jimmy and hung up the phone.

Aditya waited for how long. It was late at night when Jimmy finally arrived at Diana's apartment. Aditya felt bad for bothering the girl. Now he is asleep because he is tired of working and at the same time taking care of him here. So, Aditya meets Jimmy in the parking lot.

“We don't just log in?” ask Jimmy.

“This is a better place to chat. I was worried that my friend would wake up. He's asleep,” Aditya replied as he walked over and pointed across the parking lot.

“Alright,” Jimmy.

There was a long iron seat. They sit a little apart. Jimmy offers Aditya a cigarette, but he is subtly rejected.

“What's up?” ask Aditya without wanting to make small talk.

Jimmy still lit his cigarette, then glanced at the bandage on Aditya's body. He knew it was the men of Rama. The last two days Jimmy's been running around a few places, digging up information here and there. He knows most of this.

“Sherly pregnant. But it's not a loe kid,” Jimmy said after puffing his cigarette deep, and exhaling his smoke into the air.

“What?” ask Aditya not to believe.

“That's my son, Dit. Well, if you talk about this, it'll be long. Clearly, don't feel guilty. That's my son. She was more than two months pregnant when she met you at the mall that time.” explained Jimmy.

Aditya stares at naked photos of himself with some girls he's slept with in the past, far in the past, including a picture of Amy Aurora naked with him there. He did know it was an edit, though it was true that he slept with some of the women. After all, who had the chance to take his picture while sleeping in the arms of those women?

“Ya, right. This is indeed an edit,” Aditya replied slowly. Then he realized something. He saw pictures of other women he had never slept with.

“Kok can? I never slept with this woman. Also this one!” he said again pointing at some photos.

“This is the problem. They deliberately ruined your marriage. Deliberately these photos were exaggerated by them,” Jimmy said.

“Rama and friends, yes?”

“Ya, who else?”

Aditya and Jimmy were both silent for a while.

Then Aditya muttered, “Gue already got this warning from someone in the family. Uncle Rudi. That's how he asked me to call.”

“Oh, yes? Rudi Setiawan Budi's brother? Well, I guess the guy's been cornered in his own family,” Jimmy said.

“How can you know?” ask Aditya.

“My format is everywhere, Dit,” replied Jimmy short, then dropped the butts of the unfinished cigarette to the ground, and stepped on it until it was extinguished.

Jimmy said again, “The latest, Frita was forced to accept the family's proposal. Yes, he was forced to marry Rama's cousin! Loe knows you're innocent. Maybe the past is hard for Frita to accept. I mean, about you sleeping with those girls. But Sherly's not pregnant with a loe.” child

“Do not worry. Tomorrow we leave. I'll help you explain to Sherly. I hope we're not too late. It is possible that Rama and his brothers will come again to Frita,” Jimmy said as he got up from the seat.

“Yeah, tomorrow I leave. But, you don't have to come, Jimmy.”

“Gue must follow. The baby in Sherly's stomach was my doing. And now your marriage is ruined because of it.”

Jimmy briefly explains his relationship with Sherly. Adiyta immediately apologized for sleeping with Sherly.

“Gue knows it's not loe's intention. Sherly accidentally put something in your glass at that time,” replied Jimmy.

They don't want to talk about that anymore. Jimmy is leaving. He stayed at a hotel not far from there. The same hotel as the Ratna.

Ratna looked astonished to see a stranger in her eyes, coming out of the elevator that night. The girl had just smoked outside because she had trouble sleeping. He followed the man to the door of his room.

“That's a cop named Jimmy? Why is he here?” whispered Ratna to herself. “This must be about Frita. What's up again? When I got the chance to get close to Aditya again.”

Angrily he entered his room, trying to sleep faster, so that tomorrow morning can wake up early to make sure Aditya does not go anywhere.
