Moon In Hugs

Moon In Hugs
Chapter 213

Aditya thought it was just an ordinary party banquet, as whispered by the next Pandu. The Night Squad and Commander Malik will also be invited there.

“An impromptu party for your success saved our daughter,” so Pandu Saputra said to Aditya. “All arranged by Gina's relatives in Jakarta here. I myself also just found out when traveling here.”

“I am happy to be present at the party, Mr. Pandu,” Aditya said.

They took a few cars from the airport waiting. The Night Squad members are in separate cars with Aditya and Frita. Aditya gets a seat on the girl's side, with Gina sitting in the front, next to her driver. While Pandu hitchhiked another car.

Throughout the journey they did not talk much.

Gina said, “Tonight you have to sleep well. Tomorrow the invited guests will come to the hotel for this thanksgiving party.”

“I hope this is not excessive,” said Frita sounded anxious.

“Oh, no. Only relatives and no colleagues. Outsiders were only Aditya and his comrades in that special forces. Don't worry, Frita,” said his mother.

It was late when they arrived at Gina's relative's house, but it appeared that it was still crowded, with dozens of cars parked outside the street. Like waiting for Gina Lisnia to come.

“Well, here it is. It's all your fault! You're too selfish. And now can Frita be saved?!” A woman's voice came from inside the house.

Gina got off her car first. Aditya and Frita walked a bit far behind him. It seems like Gina's relatives or who does not know Frita has been here alias already managed to be saved.

“What are you talking about?! Frita is safe and I've tried my best for it!” gina said replying to the words of her relatives earlier.

It turned out to be the voice of one of Gina Lisnia's siblings, whom Frita called Aunt Meilisa. He has a much more successful business than Pandu or Gina. And often belittles his own brother.

Frita's abduction, for some reason, so sharpens the haughty character of Aunt Meilisa, especially on Gina Lisnia. Her impression is that Frita was kidnapped and laughed at her own brother.

It's just, he's mistaken.

Aunt Meilisa looked awkward as she looked at Frita already in the doorway.

“Halo, all. I'm coming!” said Frita.

“Already. Don't do that, Meilisa. Appreciate your own brother!” said someone who looked older.

“Well, here comes Frita home! Come on, you don't make a fuss!” the other word.

Aunt Meilisa really did not twitch and immediately lifted her foot from it. At first glance he looked towards Aditya and looked somewhat scared.

Aditya certainly did not know anyone who was there, and felt bad. However, Frita made her comfortable and treated her like an honored guest. Aditya is asked to sit in the living room while Gina's relatives move to the terrace for a farewell.

“Oh, so that was his helper?” whispers on the terrace there.

“Cakep too, yes.”

“Oh, which time?”

I don't know what else they're talking about. Aditya feels weird being here. Frita also looks bad to her. Those are the brothers and relatives of his mother, who had not been known by Aditya.

After the relatives came home, there was no more talk but to go into the room. The relative who owned the house took Aditya to his room and said, “If you need something, like a drink or a snack, just take it in the kitchen. Think of it as your own home, Dit.”

“Thank you, Aunt.” Aditya did not know the name of the relative, but he was quite friendly and looked the most reserved among Gina's other relatives and siblings.

Only, Aditya could not sleep once the door closed.

“How are you in the village? Moga all is fine.” That's a short message from Aditya.

Deri couldn't have returned that late. He was clearly asleep at the moment.

So Aditya came back daydreaming. Then go to the bathroom and warm yourself in the shower. He didn't try to think of anything. He was really tired of the world where he had been involved with a lot of this violence. May all this fatigue pass quickly, inner Aditya.

But, it didn't just pass.

Thanksgiving parties at the hotel initially felt ordinary. Just formal chatter between important people, even if they actually have family ties. The family of Pandu Saputra also came there.

Aditya prefers to be alone in the corner of the room. Frita sat down with him and they chatted everyday things only.

Aditya tries to tell the situation in his village which is now changing. He also told about his decision to quit the military because he wanted to atone for his sins to his uncle.

“I have to take care of him because I have been ignoring him all along. I don't know what else I can do so that my life is not in vain,” he said.

“I understand how you feel, Mas,” said Frita in a soft voice.

That was when, Gina Lisnia suddenly came, along with Pandu Saputra who was walking behind her. So they were just four. The guests and members of the Night Squad will not hear this conversation.

“We've been talking about this for a long time, Dit. Yes, it has not been a year, but it has been a while for me,” said Gina who immediately took a seat to sit near the two of them.

Pandu also took an empty seat and sat down beside Aditya.

“About what is this?” ask Aditya curiously.

“We thought you guys might as well get married, Dit,” Pandu told Aditya.

Now, somehow, Pandu and Gina look like they're not just a divorced couple. They even look very harmonious. Unlike the impression in Aditya's thoughts so far about them. There seems to be something behind this good plan.

Aditya was shocked to hear that, but not that surprised either. To be honest, after last night he thought, he did love Frita as it should have been from the start. But, something's up.

“I still have to finish the affairs in the village. My uncle needs company.” There were no other words that Aditya could put out besides that.

Gina Lisnia looks happy. “That means you are willing to marry our daughter?”

“Yes, Aunt. I am willing,” replied Aditya. “But can't be in this near future.”

“Sure, Dit. Whenever we can celebrate. Your marriage will be the happiest day for all four of us. And, especially for your uncle, whose story I have heard a little from Commander Malik,” Pandu Saputra said.

“Yes, Mr. Pandu.”

“And it is better that such a plan should be mature. No rush to make everything go smoothly,” said Gina.

Frita didn't say a word, but was the happiest at the time.

Well, when they continued chatting other topics, suddenly Aditya saw in the distance there, Teo and Charlie who was not familiar with talking to a girl whose face and stature were not so foreign to Aditya.

The girl somehow could be in this place as well. But, isn't this a hotel and could be that he got lost to a special room reserved for Frita's Thanksgiving party?

That girl is none other than Ratna Riani.

Seriate....
