Kayla sobs a little even though she tries to hide her tears, Feli is the same. Feli chuckled lightly while wiping away her tears.

"My goal today is to tell you a decision." Said Feli after taking a breath and exhaling it quietly.

Kayla was getting nervous and scared.

"I need your approval, Kayla. Because I've decided that I won't marry Alex."

Duaarr........

"Marriage will still happen, but not between me and Alex, but you and Alex."

Kayla flinched, shocked. His breath was blocked instantly, he reflexively covered his wide-open mouth with his palm.

"Mom.." Kayla shivered, she shook her head weakly.

"You're the same Alex, Kayla."

Kayla was tense, fixated, she was surprised not to play. Feli pulled a slight corner of his lips while nodding faintly. The words that came out of Feli's mouth with a serious look on the woman's face, made Kayla shocked. Kayla adjusted her breath that felt tight. After feeling his breathing better, he looked back at Feli. Kayla's heart was made to rage by Feli's words, yet she was unwilling to believe any of it. What Feli said was all very surprising to Kayla, Kayla was restless and so guilty of the heartache that Feli felt. Why is Alex so stubborn, why would Alex hurt Feli.

Kayla closed her eyes for a moment before saying something. He thins his lips before opening his mouth and uttering a word. "Mom, please don't joke with something this big. Ms. Feli is Alex's future wife, and your relationship is sanctioned by the whole family."

"But I don't approve of it myself, Kayla. And I'm seriously the same as my decision."

"Why did you say that, ma'am..?" The glimmer of calm Kayla was trying to wake up from earlier, was crushed again by Feli's words.

"I wouldn't be happy to be a barrier between two people who love each other."

"I don't love Alex, Mom. He's just my past."

Feli shook his head, "Not Kayla. Alex is not yet your past, just a situation that makes your love destiny pause. Alex hasn't considered you her past either. His love is so great for you, Kayla. He's tormented by having to choose to forget you, I can't let him be ruined."

"I can't believe Alex would hurt Miss Feli like that. I can't believe he's gonna break his promise, Mom."

"Alex is trying to keep his word. I know he tried, but the effort just tortured him. If I married Alex, maybe he would feel burdened with new responsibilities, I don't like that. If he can never escape you, I won't last long beside him, Kayla."

"Is Alex that weak, Mom? Ms. Feli doesn't believe that she can forget me. Isn't Alex mature enough to make Ms Feli believe it? He might need some time and I'm sure Bu Feli knows it, I think he's wise enough not to make mistakes.

Feli did not immediately chimed in Kayla's words, he kept silent by staring at Kayla. While Kayla continues to sob feeling guilty towards Feli, and angry at Alex.

"He needs time, that's what he always says. And I always try to understand him, even though I don't know how long I have to be patient. But Kayla, I am just an ordinary girl who has dreams just like girls in general. When I feel that my dream is in front of my eyes, I can't achieve it. I had to fight, in an uncertain period of time at all. Until finally I was tired, and I was afraid that I would never get to my destination, because the path I took was wrong. What should I do? The success of my futile struggle is greater, than the success."

"But Miss Feli won't give up that fast, will she?" kayla said expectantly and fearfully.

"Why, Mom?" kayla asked directly without thinking about the answer to Bu Feli's question who wanted her to think more.

"Because the ring belongs to you. And Alex said the ring was just yours, no one else could have."

Kayla took a breath while wiping away her tears. "But Mom, I'm sure that Alex will still choose Bu Feli instead of agreeing to Bu Feli's decision."

"You..sure?" Bu Feli raised both eyebrows.

Kayla nodded steadily. "Yes. Alex says he won't see me again. He knows his mistake, Mom, and he's determined to fix it. He also said that he accepted your match with all his heart."

Feli was amazed by Kayla's last sentence. "When did Alex say that?"

Kayla lowered her head for a moment, then took a breath and exhaled before replying to Feli. "Yesterday."

"She loves flowers for you, she shows her love to you. Isn't that Kayla?" said Feli cutting off Kayla's speech.

Kayla shook her head in a frenzy, without even realizing a single tear was running down her cheek again. While Feli was still looking at him calmly even though Feli's eyes were wet.

"Mom Feli knows?"

"I know. I was in your mama's position when you were talking here yesterday." Feli pointed with an eye gesture towards the door of Kayla's room, which turned out there was Mami Kayla who was peeking, when Kayla and Feli caught sight of her, Mami immediately hid.

"Alex came to say goodbye, ma'am."

"By showing her love?"

"The flower is just a sign of gratitude, as well as a birthday greeting for me. That's just. Alex really said he was going to start a new life with a future plan he had already made, Mom. He also said.before he met me yesterday he was not sure of the same future plan he made, but just as he said.he was sure that he would not look back again."

"Do you reject the flower she loves?" asked Feli, Kayla was a bit confused but she nodded. And it made Feli chuckle a little, so Kayla furrowed her forehead until both of her eyebrows were almost linked.

"You refused her love, so she said she was sure not to see you again."

Kayla is stunned, she can see how Feli shows his disbelief in Alex, by belittling and assuming Kayla's words are ridiculous and impossible. But Kayla could also understand how much pain Feli was feeling right now.

"Alex said what about Miss Feli's decision?"

Feli changed his face to be more serious again, but did not answer Kayla.

In the hospital parking lot, Alex waited anxiously. He should have seen Feli 15-20 minutes ago, but he was intercepted by two Feli bodyguards who stood guard near the car when he reached the hospital parking lot. So inevitably he waited for the girl to get out of the hospital, but the goal here was to prevent Feli from talking to Kayla. I don't know what Feli told Kayla, and somehow Kayla thinks, Alex is so agitated. A hot snort sounded from Alex's breathing, as he looked at the silhouette of the girl he had been waiting for. From a distance Feli was a bit surprised to see Alex, his steps had stopped. Then he stepped back confidently towards Alex.

"I didn't think you were this crazy." said Alex, holding back his anger.

"I also did not expect you will go directly to the hospital without changing uniforms first" said Feli while paying attention to Alex's High School uniform which was full of graduation celebrations.

Alex, who had clenched both hands since, was annoyed by Feli's words.
