Married Twins Husband

Married Twins Husband
4. Caitlyn Decision.

"You ... but .. why?" Caitlyn did not care about herself now looked like a fool in Owen's eyes. Understandably, who is a woman who is not surprised and confused if faced with a situation like this?

Be proposed? By his own brother-in-law at the first meeting after all these years? Just be right!

"I know, this might be surprising to you, but I've been thinking about it, Cait. Marry me. That's the only way your kids can get back to living the way they used to" Owen said.

Hearing Owen's words, inexplicably cloudy immediately enveloped Caitlyn's heart. As it turns out, Owen did nothing more than save the lives of his two nephews. So, he did not know at all to be angry or even thank the honesty of the man.

Caitlyn was silent for a long time. Now there are many things that are also a burden on his mind. Especially about their relationship which will certainly feel very awkward, if Caitlyn receives his proposal. However, on the other hand, Caitlyn does not deny that she needs someone to help support Chloe and Wayne.

Caitlyn doesn't love Sean. Sean is his soul mate. His whole heart is for his beloved husband. It's just that life is too cruel for their two children, if they have to stay out there.

"Give me time to think about it" Caitlyn said later.

Owen nodded his head. "Thank you, I'll wait until tomorrow morning" the man said.

Caitlyn gasps. "Fast that!" he screams unconscious.

Owen smiled wryly. "Yes. It shouldn't take long to think about my offer, should it?"

Caitlyn let out a sigh. In order to clear his mind, he needed to rest immediately. "Then I go to the room first. Have a good rest" said Caitlyn as she rose from the rattan chair she was sitting on.

"Have a good rest." Answer Owen. The man kept staring at Caitlyn's departure, until it disappeared from his sight.

After Caitlyn died, Owen fell silent as if he was thinking about something. Accompanied by the silence of the night, the man sipped back his homemade tea which had already begun to cool down.

"I miss you" murmured Owen softly.

...**********...

Caitlyn did not expect that the morning came faster than usual. Perhaps because this was the deadline Owen had given, for the offer he had made last night.

After bathing and changing clothes, Caitlyn took care of her two children first. The woman painstakingly also tidied up the bed that Chloe and Wayne were wearing.

When they finished, they went to the dining room.

"Morning, Uncle Owen," said Chloe. Wayne said the same thing.

Owen kindly returned the greetings of his two nephews, rubbing their heads one by one.

"Morning, Cait." Not to forget, he also greeted the mother of his two nephews.

"Morning." Caitlyn smiled kindly. As much as possible he tried to act ordinary, as if nothing happened last night.

All four ate in a fairly calm atmosphere. Neither Chloe nor Wayne looked fussy, nor was he disrespectful at the dinner table. While living, Sean always taught good things to both of them.

"Mom, I want that!" Wayne pointed at a piece of watermelon that looked very fresh.

When Caitlyn was about to retrieve it, Owen had already placed the fruit in Wayne's empty bowl. He also offered Chloe.

Not only that, Owen also helped Chloe clean her dirty mouth because of a milk spill.

Seeing how Owen behaved, Caitlyn's longing for Sean returned. As much as possible the woman held back her tears, so that Owen would not be offended.

Getting such a question, Chloe naturally nodded in spirit. Understandably, since Sean's death, Chloe hasn't gone to school. That means, Chloe's been almost three months unemployed at home.

"Tomorrow Uncle will enroll you and Wayne in school. At the latest you'll be back at school next week. How's it?"

Netra hazel Chloe growing up. The little girl jumped up to Owen and hugged him tightly. "Thank you very much, Uncle," said Chloe Lirih.

Owen returned his embrace. "Together, smart boy," the man replied gently. Wayne, who saw their familiarity, joined in.

Meanwhile, Caitlyn could only fall silent. On the one hand he wanted to reject Owen's offer, but on the other hand the woman did not want to destroy the happiness of her eldest daughter.

...**********...

After breakfast, Owen asks some of his house assistants to look after Chloe and Wayne, while he invites Caitlyn to talk in the backyard.

"As for the children's school, I don't know what to say, Owen." Caitlyn began her conversation awkwardly.

"Despite my offer last night, they both did need education, Cait. I can't let my niece not get an education."

Inwardly, Caitlyn confirmed Owen's words.

"And please, don't make school the benchmark of your decision," the man continued. "answer according to your heart, because I want this marriage to be able to run like a couple in general."

Caitlyn budging. His eyes were staring around the courtyard of the house filled with many colorful plants and ornamental flowers. One new thing he realized from Owen. Because, as he remembered, the man did not like plants and flowers very much. He even once joked that he would fill his entire private house later, with one big tree.

"Well, I accept it" replied Caitlyn.

Hearing that, Owen was surprised. "Are you sure? Remember Cait, this is not a wedding on paper. Regardless of my intention to help you support Chloe and Wayne, but I want this marriage to really happen like a normal marriage."

Caitlyn sighed for a moment. "I knew. I don't want to get married many times either. Let's just do it slowly. Maybe now we can not love each other, but in the future who knows," said the woman.

As if there was a heavy burden released, Owen began to relax the look of his face that originally looked tense.

"Thank you" said the man.

"I'm the one who should thank you" Caitlyn replied. Inwardly, she also asked the husband for permission, to allow herself to get off the bed.

"By the way, what exactly is your job? We're getting married, but I don't know anything about you at all" Caitlyn said. The man has been at home since yesterday. Today, he did not go to work.

Owen smiled wryly. "My foster father had a university, and I was a lecturer there. My teaching hours will be noon" replied Owen.

"Oh." Caitlyn nodded her head. "Ah, may I ask you something?" ask the woman later.

Owen turned his eyes to Caitlyn. "What?"

"It's been a long time since I've been out of the house." Caitlyn folded her lips, hesitating to continue saying.

"Ahh, I'll take you and the kids out for a walk tomorrow. Anyway, I'm afraid you're gonna hit the road."

Caitlyn frowned. "No need to worry, I memorize every nitty-gritty of the United States."

Hearing this, Owen laughed. "Where do you think we are?"
