36. End Story.

Sean waved his hand at Chloe and Wayne who had just been picked up by Anna. The girl came with Aileen while bringing some clothes for Caitlyn.

They don't linger there. Because they know that a couple needs time to talk. Although Caitlyn's condition has not recovered properly, but it seems he is really ready to hear all the explanations from Sean.

Sean was sitting right next to Caitlyn's bed. His eyes looked at Caitlyn's stomach as if he wanted to know more.

"Why not tell me?" That was the first word that came out of Sean's mouth.

"I intend to tell you. You remember that dinner?" Caitlyn turned her eyes to Sean.

Sean jerks. "So, about the return party ...?"

Caitlyn stared at the window of her room. It was late in the afternoon and the rain started to fall. "Not completely true." Caitlyn replied without looking at Sean. "I certainly shouldn't be selfish when I find out that you need me. I understand her fear, for I am also a mother who does not want to be separated from her own children."

"Everything he does is for your own good." Caitlyn then turned to Sean and asked a short question.

"You've got the answer. Now isn't it my turn?"

Sean nodded. The man paused for a moment to neutralize the pain that had begun to hit due to Caitlyn's cold attitude.

Calm attitude Caitlyn actually makes her feelings feel very sad.

After breathing out a few times, Sean opened his voice. He explains all the events between himself and Owen in detail, including the feeling of love that Owen had for the woman.

Caitlyn was surprised not to play. He did not expect that the two of them had a deep enough conflict. Though as the woman remembered, Owen never seemed to have any interest in her.

Years of living a lie keeps Caitlyn's anger unstoppable. However, whatever to say, Owen is gone.

To whom else would he have to vent his anger, other than on Sean who was now looking at him with regret?

Now he understands why Ariana hates him more and more. Her mother-in-law was right. She is indeed a woman of calamity.

"Then why are you lying to me?" ask the pregnant woman.

"I don't have any other choice. My feelings haven't changed in the past, Cait. That's why, after learning that Owen is dead, I intend to approach you. But it can't be Sean." Answer Sean as he is.

Caitlyn fell silent. His condition made the woman reluctant to think too heavily. He was even trying to quell his anger.

What did he get out of that anger? She should focus on her four children.

"I know my mistake with you was fatal. Now all the decisions are with you, Cait. I won't dodge. However, let me keep seeing the kids when your choice is to part," Sean asked. His eyes then looked at Caitlyn's stomach expectantly.

With a timid tone, Sean asked for permission to hold Caitlyn's stomach.

Caitlyn stroked her stomach gently, before then nodding her head.

Seeing her husband's cry, Caitlyn also glazed over.

Sean is getting closer. No matter that Caitlyn might get angry, he landed a light peck in his wife's stomach.

A kiss that can make Caitlyn full.

Caitlyn weak. All the dark sides that had been residing in themselves, suddenly yawned out of nowhere.

But the shadows of Ariana's face and insults continue to haunt his mind.

Ariana can't lose Sean, but she also doesn't want her two baby candidates to lose her father. Sean is the man he really loves.

Silence surrounding the couple's husband and wife. Each of them seemed to be thinking of something.

"So ...?" Sean opened his voice first. He seemed to be more prepared to hear whatever decision Caitlyn would make.

Caitlyn raised her head and looked at Sean deeply. At that instant, the pregnant woman's tears spilled. "I'm a stupid woman!" then shouted.

Although Sean had lied to him, it was completely unable to cover up the longing and love he had.

Caitlyn forgives Sean. Instead, he was the one who repeatedly apologized for being a disaster in the midst of the warmth of his family.

Knowing the greatness of Caitlyn's heart, Sean also shed tears. She rejects Caitlyn's apology and says it's not her fault.

Sean also promised to try to protect Caitlyn and their children from Ariana.
