29. The Cry of a Mother.
Jacob's funeral went well. The man was buried in the funeral home for three days before being buried.
Hoopla had happened in the funeral home, when all the extended family, relatives, and colleagues who attended the service found the figure of Sean (as Owen) there.
Sean and Ariana agree to keep using Owen's identity to cover up the real events. In any case, their family's good name is at stake.
The day after her husband's funeral, Ariana immediately asked Sean to replace his father in the office.
Sean refused, of course. He insisted on going back to England, because no matter how his life was now there. Sean now owns Caitlyn.
"You can't go back Sean! There's no worthy successor to the Edmund family but you!" Ariana. "Again, Mama won't let you go back to that vain carrier woman!" continued.
"Ma!" jolt Sean.
"Okay, then Mama will give you a choice, Sean. You stay here as Owen, or you go back to Caitlyn as Sean?" threatening Ariana.
Owen clenched his teeth. The father's grave had not dried yet, but Ariana had again invited him noisily.
"Mama can't threaten me!" hiss Sean was angry.
"Of course you can! You don't seem to be afraid of Mama's threats, Sean?" Sean smiled cynically. "Well, let's see what her reaction is after knowing that you're not Owen, and the husband she was married to isn't you. Remember Sean, that woman was the cause of your father's death. So, Mama would never be willing to see him return to this family!" exciting Ariana.
Sean's face was crimson withstanding emotions, but the man was unable to let out his voice.
Sean can not deny his fear, if Ariana will really leak everything to Caitlyn.
Sean dared not imagine how disappointed Caitlyn was, if he knew that all this time he lived under the guile of the twin sister. Not to mention, Caitlyn needed time to recuperate from her past slump. So, it is appropriate that he can enjoy a happy life like now.
Sean moved uneasily. What's he supposed to do? Do you obey the mother's will, or keep insisting on Caitlyn?
If Sean is forced to obey, then Caitlyn will only lose herself, but can stay alive without bearing the burden of the mind. However, if Sean insists on returning, then he must bear all the risks, including losing the love of Caitlyn.
Both were difficult choices for Sean.
"Brengjeek!" as the man said.

It's been a week that Caitlyn's health has declined. After more than two weeks, she lost contact with her husband and children.
When Caitlyn decided to go to England, a short message from a foreign number came to her phone.
Caitlyn was wide-eyed, because the short message turned out to be a delivery from Chloe. The little girl had just told me about Jacob's death, and asked her mother to pick them up.
Since her grandfather's death, Ariana has banned Chloe and Wayne from contacting Caitlyn again. Both of his new nannies were always watching the little girl's every move. Luckily, on one occasion, Chloe was able to send Caitlyn a message.
Caitlyn did not waste a chance. The woman booked a plane ticket and flew to New York right then and there.
However, instead of getting a sweet welcome from her husband and two children upon arrival there, Caitlyn instead get a hard slap from Ariana.
Ariana feels free to do cruel to Caitlyn, because Sean is in the office at this time. Chloe and Wayne are locked up by their nanny in their respective rooms, at Ariana's behest.
"Because of you, my husband died. So, why did you come here again, shameless vain woman!" ariana.
"What sins have I committed, Ma?Why wasn't I allowed to see Papa one last time? Then, why did Mama forbid Owen and the children to contact me? I want to meet and pick them up, Ma." Regardless of the pain of the mother-in-law's slap, Caitlyn opened her voice.
Hearing this, Ariana laughed. "Pondering for yourself your mistakes, which are clear from now on, get out of our lives! I won't let you touch my children and grandchildren again!"
Caitlyn. "Mama never even considered them grandchildren. Then, why now does Mama insist on separating us?"
Ariana did not answer. He just kept yelling telling Caitlyn to get out of there.
Caitlyn refused hard. As a mother who had struggled to give birth to them, Caitlyn certainly did not want to be separated. The woman even tried to sit at Ariana's feet to ask her children back.
"Mom! Mama!"
Her cries broke out at the screams of Chloe and Wayne calling out to her, asking for the door to be opened.
It had been a month since Caitlyn had not met her children, now she could only hear their heart-wrenching cries.
Ariana with a look of disdain pushed Caitlyn to the floor.
"Get out of my house, vain woman!" ariana. He ordered the guards to drag Caitlyn out. Ariana did not want Caitlyn to cross paths with the son, if longer here.
"Lookie! Wayne!"
Hearing Caitlyn's cry, Chloe grew louder and louder banging on the door of her room. The girl did not even care about the bruises that started to appear on both her hands. However, all Chloe's efforts are in vain. The door did not open, and the mother's voice disappeared no longer.
