27. Ruckus.

Sean was silent and couldn't get along. The father's condition made the man afraid to speak.

"Tell me the truth? You're Sean, right? Papa didn't hear everything!" jacob exclaimed in a breathless voice, enduring the pain in his chest. The man had no history of heart disease, but somehow his chest hurt.

"Pa, don't talk too much. Let's go back to the room first." That's the only line Sean could say. Jacob, however, refused. He asks Sean not to lie to him, just because he is sick.

"Really! Everything you hear is the truth, honey. The man standing before you is Sean, and the one who's been living with us all along is Owen." Ariana arrives at Sean and Jacob's place. His eyes looked at Sean, as if saying that he could do it to Caitlyn as well.

Sean pulled his teeth together. The mother really wasn't kidding.

Hearing his wife's words, Jacob was shocked. Her frail, trembling hands were trying to hold Sean's face.

"How's the story? How did you survive? What does this have to do with Owen?" The question RentetN emerged from the old man's lips.

Sean smiled thinly. "There's nothing, Pa. Owen used to ha—"

"It's all because of Caitlyn, honey! Caitlyn is the main cause of all this. If only he hadn't been present, maybe our family wouldn't have been ravaged like this!" Not finished Sean spoke, Ariana suddenly cut him off. The woman deliberately told him the truth, so that Jacob also hated Caitlyn.

Jacob frowned. He turned his eyes to his wife to ask for more explanation.

Other residents who heard the commotion began to gather there, including James, Chloe, and Wayne.

Hearing his real name called someone else, Sean chuckled.

Along with that, Ariana came to Jacob's treatment room and went straight to him. He cried while muttering an apology many times. However, the middle-aged woman still blamed Caitlyn, who was clearly not there.

This time Sean chose silence, for the sake of his father.

"No need to apologize" Caitlyn replied. Although her heart was being overwhelmed with grief because her husband and children had canceled their home, Caitlyn still understood. For, however, the present condition of the father-in-law is above all else.
