35. Encounters.

Caitlyn was immediately rushed to the hospital using an ambulance because of severe bleeding. Fortunately, he received intensive care, so he could save the lives of the three of them.

Isabella's doctor scolded Aileen after learning of Caitlyn's condition. Aileen could only resign. Right now he was only thinking about Caitlyn's condition.

Caitlyn herself has not regained consciousness, but she has been moved to the treatment room.

A few moments later Laura followed. Aileen lamgsung asked Laura about Owen.

"Did Owen ever call you Laura?" ask the woman.

Laura shook her head. "He only contacted me at the beginning of his departure. After that no more. I've tried calling but the phone's off."

Aileen clucked in annoyance. Just now he was about to contact his other family, suddenly his phone rang.

An unknown number appears on Aileen's pinsel screen. "Hello," said Aileen as soon as she picked up her phone.

"It's me" said the voice behind his phone call.

"Owen!" cry Aileen. "You're crazy! Why can't your number be reached, idiot!" snapped Aileen.

"Where did you take Caitlyn away?" Instead of answering, Owen asked a strange question that surprised his cousin.

"Know where you're from?" Aileen asked back.

"Tell me, Ail. I'll be there tomorrow morning."

Hearing Owen's words, Aileen laughed mockingly. "It's funny you. Months of inaccessibility and unwilling to go home, now in a moment you say you're coming."

"I'm not going home. You don't understand my situation. You—"

"I don't care, Owen! All I know is that you abandoned your wife and children. You were the one who asked Caitlyn to come and receive your proposal, so shouldn't you be able to stand in front of Caitlyn and defend her?" aileen was angry.

There was no word from Owen. The man seemed to be pinched with Aileen's words.

"I am a coward. I can't protect them. However, give me a chance to make up for it, Ail," said Owen lirih.

"Why ask me. Ask Caitlyn," replied Aileen.

"Then tell me where Caitlyn is."

Aileen was silent for a moment, before then telling Owen to find out for himself. Without waiting for a response from Owen, he immediately hung up his phone.

That's when Caitlyn woke up. In a weak voice he called out Aileen's name.

"Caitlin!" aileen exclaimed as she ran towards him.

"My babies?" ask Caitlyn.

Aileen smiled. "You don't have to worry, they're in good shape."

Caitlyn herself doesn't know how to behave. He must be angry at Sean's lies. However, inwardly, he could not completely shake his feelings for the man. Sean is the first person Caitlyn loves.

Tears flowed back down her cheeks.

Seeing that, Aileen tried to calm Caitlyn down.

Aileen came out of Caitlyn's nursery, while the woman was still asleep. He intends to return home to see his son and Caitlyn's children first, before returning to the hospital.

The woman is shocked when she crosses paths with Owen who just got out of the elevator with Chloe and Wayne. The man apparently went home first.

"Aileen!" call Owen.

Aileen couldn't dodge. Moreover, the man came to bring their two children. Aileen sighed for a moment, before finally walking up to Owen while greeting Chloe and Wayne.

"Mothers and sisters are fine, aren't they, Aunty?" chloe asked with teary eyes.

"of course. Mother and sisters are very strong, so you don't have to worry, okay?" Aileen gently stroked Chloe's mane gently. He told her where her room was with the little girl.

How else, Aileen actually had no right to forbid Owen and Caitlyn to meet. What's more seeing Caitlyn's extremely miserable state. Last night his emotions still controlled themselves.

Aileen then said goodbye to leave for a while and will be back in a few hours.

Caitlyn smiled weakly. The woman stretched out her hand to reach the two of them.

Owen gently asked Chloe and Wayne to be careful.

"Mom, what's sick, ma'am? Are the baby's siblings sick too? Mom's face is pale, too," said Chloe worriedly.

Caitlyn shook her head. "Mothers and sisters are fine. I just need to sleep," replied the woman gently. His gaze then turned to the figure of Owen.

Owen returned Caitlyn's gaze with longing and guilt. She wanted to hug the woman, but her heart said she didn't deserve it.

Caitlyn herself said nothing, as there is currently Chloe and Wayne among them.
