32. Unexpected.

In order to get rid of the longing, Caitlyn invites Chloe and Wayne to sleep with them in the room.

James listened carefully to the doctor's explanation.

"For the next two to three days let Mrs Ariana undergo treatment here first. Don't let her think too much, because Mrs Ariana has a high risk of having a stroke" the doctor said.

James nodded and thanked him.

The middle-aged man then let out a long sigh. His decision not to obey Ariana's orders seemed to be unworkable.

Just then, Caitlyn placed the box she had brought into the middle of the dining table.

Not half an hour later, the sound of Owen's car was heard at the door. Caitlyn hurried up from the dining chair to welcome her husband. However, instead of finding the husband's cheerful look, he saw the tension there.

They had almost collided, as Owen walked in haste.

"Owen, what's wrong?" ask Caitlyn. The woman glanced at Laura who was standing behind Owen.

Owen looked at Caitlyn with a strange look on his face, and it made Caitlyn's feelings change drastically.

"Mama had a heart attack, and is now being treated in the hospital" Owen said suddenly.

Caitlyn surprised. "How is he doing?" ask the woman later.

"For now it's okay, but ... you know, I ... I ...,"

Caitlyn held Owen's hand, trying to calm the man's heart. "Go."

Owen was silent for a moment. "You sure?"

Caitlyn commented on the best smile she had. "Go away. Mom now only has you. He needs you more, because no matter how bad your relationship is, you're still a mother and a son."

"What celebration?" ask Owen.
