30. Sean's Steps.

After making sure Caitlyn left the house, Ariana just opened the door to Chloe and Wayne's room. Crying hysterically Wayne ran to his sister's room and hugged her tightly.

"Wicked granny!" chloe yelled, sobbing too. "We want mom! We want to go home with Mom!" hard continued.

"Shut up! You guys are kids, you know what about your grandmother and your mother? The person you deserve to be evil is your mother!" ariana.

Chloe shook her head. "No! Grandma is evil! It was Grandma who always hurt Mom, and it was Grandma who kicked us out after Dad died."

Ariana stared at her two grandchildren. "Basic boys don't know to be arranged. Shut your mouth and stay here!"

After saying so, Ariana told their two nannies to lock Chloe's room and not let anyone out of it.

Wayne's cry is getting louder. Many times he called his mother.

Chloe tried to calm Wayne down and persuade him not to cry anymore. In fact, the little girl was forced to lie to her sister, in order to stop crying.

"Listen to me, Wayne! Shut up and listen to me! Papa will take us home, so you should be able to hold back your tears, okay? Cease crying. Remember, mom doesn't like us growing up to be whiny kids!"

Wayne began to slow down his crying voice. "But Chloe was crying too" said Wayne innocently, wiping away his tears.

"Now no. You see, right?"

Wayne nodded.

"Hold on." Chloe erased Wayne's virtual water trail. She also lifted her little sister into the bed and hugged her body again.

Chloe did not care at all about the hunger that was beginning to torment her. The girl's mind was now only about the calmness of her sister.

Sean frowned deeply, when he found the unpleasant look of all the household assistants, upon arrival at home. Some even seemed to be about to say something, but lacked courage.

This of course provoked Sean's curiosity. "What's this?" ask the man without further ado.

Getting such a question from the master, they exchanged glances for a moment. Until finally one of them came forward to Sean. The assistant did not seem to care about Ariana's orders to keep her mouth shut.

"Sir, this afternoon Little Miss and little Master were locked in a room by Mrs Ariana" the housekeeper began his words.

Sean's surprised. "What's? Indeed, what happened?" ask the man. The lines on his face seemed to harden withstanding emotions.

The house assistant nodded. His head fell for a moment. With a small voice and a little stammering, he also told Sean about the arrival of Caitlyn, and Ariana's treatment of the woman.

Moments later, a lashing sound was heard from the second floor, followed by the sound of the hostess screaming. A couple of housekeepers rush to Chloe and Wayne's room just in case, protecting them.

"WHAT THE FUCK, SEAN!" shouted Ariana. His face looked shocked at the door of his room which was now badly damaged. Not to mention the blood flowing from Sean's fist.

"What have you done to my wife?" sean said coldly. His breath was heard hunting, as if he was holding back from tearing up the body of the woman who had given birth to him.

Ariana tried to be undaunted by the creepy aura that came out of Sean's body. "Mama just told him to leave this house, because he has no right to set foot here." Answer the woman relaxed.

Sean pulled his teeth together. "Look at what you've done to Chloe and Wayne. After all, Caitlyn is Chloe and Wayne's mother, and she's still Mama's daughter-in-law."

Ariana. "Currently, don't joke Sean. To the death, Mama would never consider the village girl a part of this family."

Hearing Ariana's reply, Sean boarded the apoplexy. He walked up to his mother while looking at her.

"What do you want, Sean? I'm your mother!" exclaim Ariana scared. His eyes glanced at Sean's right hand which was still clenched and moving.

Sean did not answer. He continued walking until Ariana got stuck on the wall of her room.

"S—sean!" yelled Ariana terrified. His body was even trembling violently.

At that moment, Sean whispered cynically in his mother's ear. "The regret of my whole life, is coming back to you."

After saying so, Sean rushed from there to Chloe's room.

Chloe and Wayne seem to be asleep when Sean arrives. Slowly, he woke them both up.

"Father!" cry Chloe while hugging tightly the neck of the father. Wayne did too.

"You guys are okay, right?" ask Sean to worry.

"I'm hungry, Pa," replied Wayne. "Me too" said Chloe as she held onto her painful stomach.

Sean looked at the two with a guilty feeling. If only he could have been more resolute against the mother, perhaps his wife and children would not have experienced such a bad event.

"Later we'll eat out. Now change your clothes first!" word Sean.

Chloe and Wayne nodded their heads.
