19. Fierce Debate.

Caitlyn took the first flight to New York City, alone. Although questions arise about the reason Ariana took Chloe and Wayne away secretly, Caitlyn tries to ignore it.

Caitlyn's only hope is now one, which is to be able to bring her two children back home, without causing sparks of quarrel between herself and the mother-in-law.

Caitlyn was suddenly in the Edmund family's stately residence at half past three in the afternoon. Caitlyn could not deny the various emotions that churned in her heart, when it came to seeing this majestic building. Understandably, there are so many stories and memories that are engraved, especially about the late Sean.

Caitlyn steadied her heart not to get carried away. The woman tried to control her breathing before exiting the taxi.

As it descended, Caitlyn could faintly hear the typical laughter of a child. Caitlyn is convinced that it is the voice of Chloe and Wayne.

Chloe and Wayne, who were playing water bubbles with one of the house assistants, turned to the source of the sound.

James, who was watching them from a distance, was surprised to see Caitlyn coming. Instead of contacting first, the man did not expect that Caitlyn would come here immediately.

Chloe and Wayne lamgsung burst into Caitlyn's arms crying sobbing. They expressed their longing for the mother without letting go of the embrace.

"Mom misses you too" said Caitlyn. His tears flowed out. Inwardly, she was grateful that Chloe and Wayne were doing well.

"Mom, I want to go home!" exclaim Chloe.

"Yes, we're going home. I'm coming to pick you up" replied Caitlyn soberly.

"Can't!" Suddenly from the back door, Ariana appears with James. The woman turned to her waist, staring at the cynical Caitlyn.

His eyes can not be separated exploring every inch of the appearance of the son-in-law. "I don't think you have a pretty good fate. Who's the poor guy who picked you up on the street, Caitlyn?"

Caitlyn sighed. He was already not surprised by Ariana's sharp mouth. The middle-aged woman was always happy to look for because anywhere and anytime.

"Ma, I don't want any more fights. I've lived well without bothering Mama. So, why did Mama suddenly take away my two children without permission?" ask Caitlyn. The caravan looks calm and relaxed.

"Hey, I have the right to pick them up! They are also my flesh and blood, son of my son!" ariana Sentak. "So, whatever I do to them!" keep the woman cynical.

Caitlyn turned her eyes to Chloe and Wayne, who now looked scared. "You guys play inside, huh? I want to talk to Grandma first, "please ask Caitlyn, as she rests before them.

Chloe shook her head. "I want to be with Mom!" yells.

"Good children should follow what parents say. Chloe's a good boy, isn't she?" ask the mother.

Chloe nodded, and so did her younger brother, Wayne. The five-year-old actually did not understand the situation. He just followed his brother's behavior.

"Then, go! I'll catch up." A smile on Caitlyn's pretty face.

Together with the housekeeper, they left Caitlyn, Ariana, and James there.

Caitlyn stood up again and fixed her position. "I never forbade Mama to see them. I just don't want the two of them to leave all of a sudden, to the point of making everyone worry."

Ariana. "Currently, bullshit! Looks like, your current marriage, makes your guts big huh? Since then, you have dared to reverse my words, vain woman!" ariana Maki.

"Why are you so curious about my wedding? Don't you care what I do?"

Hearing these words, Ariana went up. He walked up to Caitlyn and looked at her viciously. "Finally trust yourself! I was just curious about the identity of my granddaughter's second stepfather. Why are you impressed not to accept?"

Suddenly Ariana's eyes squealed cynically. "Ahh, or perhaps, you've been in a relationship with that man for a long time, considering that your second marriage is only three months from my son's death!" point at the middle-aged woman.

"Ma, I don't want to fight, I just want to bring the kids home. They have to go to school." This time Caitlyn said with a softer intonation.

"Why? Mama met them, didn't she? Later on during school holidays, I will bring them here again" said Caitlyn.

Ariana budging. He didn't want to tell the truth about Jacob's condition. However, what if Caitlyn insists on taking Chloe and Wayne away?

"I'm taking Chloe and Wayne for no reason!" exclaim Ariana later.

Caitlyn suddenly frowned. He turned his eyes to James, who had just been staring behind the in-laws.

"What reason would James be willing to fly to London to pick them up?" ask Caitlyn.

Ariana did not answer. He would not let Caitlyn know of his weakness. James answered Caitlyn's question honestly.

"Mr Jacob's condition is critical, Mrs Caitlyn. Me and Mrs Ariana just want to realize her longing for her two grandchildren."

Caitlyn surprised.

"James!" ariana.

"I think it's the best move, ma'am, so that the misunderstanding doesn't continue." James bowed deeply, as a sign of apology.

"What's wrong with him?" ask Caitlyn.

This time, James again took the vote. He vividly told briefly the disease of blood cancer that gnawed his body.

Hearing the explanation, Caitlyn closed her mouth tightly. He did not expect, in just half a year, the condition of the father-in-law changed drastically.

"Why not just say it from the beginning? I'll let you guys take Chloe and Wayne, of course" Caitlyn said.

The woman looked at her mother-in-law with a glare. "Allow me to see Papa, Ma," Caitlyn asked.

"No way!" Ariana replied firmly.

"Ma, please ...."
