Chapter 3: The Sword of the Emperor Return

“Leo?! What's?! How?!” The teacher was at a loss for words after seeing Leo, who used to be his favorite student until he died.

“I'll explain it for a minute. Let's go, Leo.” Miss Camille said as she entered the classroom with Leo following behind her.

When the students in the class saw Leo and recognized him, their eyes widened and their jaws gaped.

Miss Camille stopped in the middle of the class and faced the confused students.

“I'm sure you already know him, but this is Leo. He was thought to be dead for the past three months, but he actually survived. However, she suffers from amnesia, so she does not remember many things.”

The whole class was silent.

‘Wow .. As expected of a parallel world. Everyone from my world is also in the same class here.’ Leo thought inwardly as he glanced at the familiar faces.

However, despite recognizing all of their faces, unlike Miss Camille who looks and feels the exact same face from her world, these students feel different, it was almost like this was the first time he had met them.

“You know where to go after you're done with all your classes, right?” Miss Camille asked Leo, who quickly nodded her head.

And without saying a word, Miss Camille walked out of the classroom.

“Sorry, but where is my seat?” Leo turned to ask the teacher.

He flinched from his daze and pointed to a certain chair.

“Thank you.” Leo said before walking to his seat.

Leo pondered for a moment before speaking in a calm voice, “I remember my name, that I am a student of this academy, and some of the things I learned in this academy. But that is how far my memory goes. ”

The teacher rubbed his eyes and sighed.

“So.. Well, I'm your homeroom teacher, Professor Jasmine, but I also teach Mathematics and English. You can call me Jasmine. I don't like formalities.”

Jasmine started their first class for the day, and it was a Math class.

However, none of the students really paid attention to the class, as they were too focused on Leo, who should have been dead and had died for the past 3 months. It was like they were sharing a class with zombies, which was understandable.

Actually, there was one person in the class who paid attention to Jasmine's class.

‘Hmm... I don't know what to expect, but I already know this. This is really what I learned in my old world before it was thrown here.’

Leo was relieved that he could take the class. Even if he did not deserve to be in this world and would leave as quickly as possible, he would still try hard to learn because that was the only thing he was good at.

In the middle of the road, Jasmine suddenly asked, “Leo, do you think you can solve this question?”

Everyone in the class turned to Leo.

“Ya.” Leo answered calmly.

Leo nodded.

“This is it.” Leo put down the chalk and casually walked back to his seat without asking if the answer was correct.

This was something that everyone in the academy knew, therefore why Jasmine and the rest of the class were surprised that Leo, who should have lost his memory, could answer such a difficult question.

“It's true.” Jasmine said after waking up from a daze, and she continued to teach in the classroom, feeling a little more motivated than usual for some reason.

Classes last exactly forty-five minutes.

At the end of the class, each person is given a fifteen-minute break while waiting for their teacher for the next period.

Professor Jasmine left the classroom and headed straight for the teacher room, and she exclaimed as she entered the room, “Everything! I have great news! Leo is alive!”

“Hah?”

All the current teachers in the room turned their heads to look at him with raised eyebrows.

“Jasmine, by ‘Leo’, are you talking about Sword Emperor Leo? Who died a few months ago?” One of the teachers asked for clarification.

“Yes! That leo! He's back!”

After a moment of silence, the room suddenly exploded with chaos as everyone there realized the meaning behind such words.

However, Jasmine interrupts their celebration with the following bad news, “I'm sorry for the rain in your parade, but even though Leo is still alive, he suffers from amnesia, so he doesn't remember anything.”

“What? The amnesia? Who cares! As long as he remembers how to fight, we are safe!” One of the teachers laughed.

“Unfortunately, she also lost her strength.”

The room was quiet again.

Meanwhile, inside his class, Leo pretended not to notice the gazes of his classmates by focusing on his notebook.
