Chapter 17: The Lost Package
After practicing on her own for another half an hour, Jasmine disbanded the class three hours earlier than usual.
“See you tomorrow, Leo.”
“Of course.”
Leo rushed to the training area after class. Even though Miss Camille wasn't there yet, she decided to start training early.
“You're more motivated than usual. Did being challenged so many times today affect you? ” Lilith asked him.
“No, it has nothing to do with it. After seeing the other students compete, I realized how weak I was compared to them. And it's not just a difference in our strength. I wouldn't last even three seconds if I fought with them. I still have a lot of work to do. ” Leo sighed.
“That's only true if you use a sword. If you are allowed to use magic, you are already stronger than most people who practice today.” Lilit says.
“Even if it's true, I can't use magic until I'm strong enough.” He sighed.
By the time Miss Camille arrived at the Training Center, Leo had already run out of stamina, so she started training with magic.
At the end of the day, Leo asked, “I have been swinging my sword aimlessly for these few days. When will I learn some sword techniques?”
“Focus on your foundation for now and forget about anything else. We will get there when we get there. ” said Miss Camille.
And he continued, “Most things in this world need a foundation. If the foundation is weak, so are the others after.”
“Also, I am not qualified to teach you the true swordsmanship. I'll have to find you another teacher for it, preferably someone who doesn't know the old Leo.”
“I understand.” Leo nodded.
Time passed quickly as Leo focused on his studies in the morning and training in the afternoon, and before he came to his senses, a whole week had passed.
During this time, his Black Bullet Mastery Rating increased to ‘D’, and his Dark Barrier increased to ‘E’.
Since he could only use the magic Miss Camille taught him, Leo could not practice with Black Flame at all.
Furthermore, his mana capacity had increased to 300, and his magic power reached over a thousand with just a Tier 1 magic spell.
As for his training with the sword, he had finally managed to obtain enough strength to use a 30kg sword with ease.
Although her swordsmanship could not compare to her magic, it was still progressing faster than Miss Camille expected.
Such growth would not be possible in Leo's old world, but with the help of magic herbs and artifacts, it became a reality.
“Now that you have enough strength, we can start training your sword techniques so that you can finally start fighting for real. Since it's the weekend tomorrow, meet me here at nine.”
“Oke.”
Upon returning to the dorm, Leo goes to find Hank, the hostel's manager.
“Hey, it's been a long time since you mentioned my personal belongings, but I still haven't received them.” Leo said to her.
“Hah? Really true? Let me call them now. ”
Hank picked up the phone and dialed the number.
Moments later, Hank explains the situation to the person across the phone.
“Leo, right? Try me to check the database..”.
“This is it... Leo... Hm?”
“What happened?” ask Hank.
“Here it is written that Leo's goods have been shipped three days ago.”
“What?” Hank raised his eyebrows.
He turned to look at Leo and said, “They said the items had been delivered to you three days ago.”
“What? That's not possible. Did they leave it on my doorstep and mark it ‘sent’? What if someone steals it?”
“Leo says that he did not receive his goods.”
“Let me contact the person who sent it.”
A few minutes later, the man called back and said, “The person who sent the package said that he personally handed it to Leo.”
“Umm... Leo, are you sure you didn't receive anything? The sender said that he had handed it to you... personally.”.
“It doesn't make sense! I was rarely in my room at the moment, and when I came back, I went straight to sleep! I never received anything!” exclaim Leo.
“You heard Leo.”
“I understand. I'll tell him. ”
After hanging up the phone, Hank explains the situation to Leo.
“Excellent... I just want some extra clothes and uniforms. And if you don't believe me, you can check out my room. It's empty there except for the clothes you gave me.”
“No need, I trust you.” Hank shook his head.
“However, since we do not know what happened to your package, we can only wait for them to complete the investigation.”
“What's in my stuff? Since someone tried so hard to steal it, there must be something valuable in it.”
“As far as I am concerned, artifacts and valuables were given to the academy after its owner officially died, so other than clothes and miscellaneous items, it is highly unlikely that your package has anything of value.” says Hank.
“Why would anyone steal my clothes? That's really ridiculous!”
“Yah.. If you really want a new shirt, you can ask the academy. Uniform's free. And since you are famous, the academy will probably give you money to buy more clothes.”
“Where should I go to get this free uniform?”
Hank pointed to a large map on the wall and said, “That's the academy map. Find the Administration Hall and order your uniform there. ”
Leo looked at the map intensively for a few moments, recalling the map and all the details.
“Alright, I know where to go. Thanks for the help.” Leo left the dormitory shortly afterwards to order some uniforms in the Administration Hall.
Once there, Leo spoke to one of the workers there for help.
Fortunately, since Leo's information was still in the academy's database, they could give him four sets of uniforms on the spot.
“There's more I can help?”
“Yah... To be honest, all my clothes have been stolen recently, so other than this uniform, I have nothing left to wear— even pajamas. Fortunately, I was told that I can receive financial assistance here.”

The worker went on to type a few things on his computer.
Moments later, he spoke, “So the academy has returned all your money. However, your artifact will take a little longer due to some complications. ”
“So... So how do I access my money?”
“Academy has its own banking system used by most of its students. According to your information, your money is also in this bank. To access it, you only need to visit the bank. However, it is already closed for the day, so you should leave tomorrow when it opens at 7am. ”
“I understand. Thank you for taking the time to help me.”
Leo returned to his room shortly after.
“Yeah, I can't wait to visit the bank tomorrow! Since that old Leo is so powerful, he should have plenty of money!” Leo enters the bed eagerly for tomorrow.
“I will not rely too much on it ..” Lilith suddenly said.
“Hah? What makes you say that?”
