Loving you Painful

Episode 4

Aiden just got to a hospital. Today he made an appointment with Catherine to meet Marenka who was the victim of the case reported by Catherine.

Aiden stood leaning against his car, a cigarette overtaken beautifully on his lips and one of his hands put in his pants pocket. He looked handsome in that ash suit.

He smokes his cigarette and smokes his smoke. His sharp gaze looked forward and ignored every adoring gaze from the few women who passed by and blatantly noticed it.

A white sports car arrived there and parked beautifully not far from Aiden. Before long, the owner of the car came down. He looked at Aiden until their eyes clashed.

The owner of the car was none other than Catherine. She looks so beautiful and graceful in a red dress.

Catherine walked over to Aiden who was still staring at her.

"Hi" said Catherine. "Have you waited a long time?"

"Emm good," Aiden answered, threw away his cigarette, then stepped on it. "Let's go in."

Aiden walked first leaving Catherine watching his wide back. Catherine looked at Aiden with a gaze that could not be read. Then he let out a long sigh and walked after Aiden.

"Since when did this friend of yours receive this harsh treatment from her husband?" aiden asked as they walked down the aisle of the hospital.

"It's been 2 years, he can only dare to report it now" replied Catherine.

"Is there a certain factor that makes her husband act rude to her?" ask Aiden.

"He married a man who didn't love him. They were forced to marry because of a marriage. And her husband still loves his ex-girlfriend. She has been acting rude and temperamental to Marenka ever since her ex-boyfriend married another man."

"So this husband vented his heartache by torturing Marenka?" ask Aiden.

"Hmmm so, Marenka should not do a little mistake, if until it happens then the torture he gets. Even in sex, her husband still tortures Marenka, even continuing to call her ex-lover's name while doing so. Makes Marenka very hurt inside out."

Catherine's words just stopped Aiden's steps.

Catherine who had already walked two steps in front of Aiden stopped her steps and turned her head towards Aiden.

"What's wrong?"

"It's okay" Aiden replied, immediately turning his face back flat. "Let's go see Marenka."

They walked together down the hallway of a not so crowded hospital. This time they both chose silence and focus on each other's thoughts.

Arriving in a room, there was a woman with her face still some wounds and blue is sitting leaning on the cage. The woman looked towards the two of them.

"Ren, this is Mr. Aiden, your lawyer," cried Catherin.

"Good day, Mr. Aiden."

"This injury-?" aiden's words hung in the air.

"This is my husband's doing" he cried in a hoarse tone as if he wanted to cry.

Aiden pressed the recorder button from his pen that was inside the pocket of the suit he was using.

Marenka was seen crying sobbing while explaining all the events that happened to her. He said everything without anyone missing.

"So well," muttered Aiden who was already sitting on the chair that was on the side of the cage. "When has your husband committed this violence?" ask Aiden.

"Since we got married, he's been torturing me. Besides, he likes to gamble and always brings women home without me caring anymore. I appreciate it as a woman."

Marenka wept more every time she told him about the bitter events that had happened to her.

"It seems like this information is enough," exclaimed Aiden. "I will try to help you win this case and put him in jail."

"Thank you, Mr. Aiden."

"Together," cried Aiden looking smiling.

Aiden and Catherin have left Marenka's room. They are currently in the basement parking lot.

"Do you still need more evidence?" ask Catherin.

"I think that's enough, we just need to win the trial later. Oh yes, if you can ask the maid at his house to be a witness," cried Aiden.

"Well, do you need another witness?" ask Catherin.

"No, you and him are enough. In addition to these evidences, everything is clear and I am sure he will receive the appropriate punishment" said Aiden, who was joined by Catherin.

"Where are you going now?" aiden asked after they were silent for a moment.

"I want to go home, I still have work. When the interview is over, I leave. See you at the hearing, Mr. Aiden." Catherin cried still in a cold tone and passed away leaving Aiden to his car.

Aiden just silently stared at the back of Catherin who was away.
