Episode 30's

"Uncle." Jasmine holding Aiden's hand made him stare at Jasmine with warmth.

"Uncle will Uncle marry Mommy and be my Daddy."

Aiden froze in place hearing Jasmine's hopeful words with her innocent gaze.

In the doorway, Catherine froze to hear Jasmine's words. He had long since stood there and listened to Jasmine's words.

"How's Uncle?" ask Mine.

Aiden smiled a little. "Consider Uncle," replied Aiden.

"Mommy I'm beautiful, she's also very nice. Om won't be feeling right to have a wife like Mommy," Mine exclaimed.

Catherine smiled at him. 'Ck, this kid is promoting me instead.' Inner Catherine.

"Mommy is busy. He rarely has time for Mine. So if there was Uncle, I wouldn't be lonely anymore and Mommy wouldn't be working on it." Mine was so innocent that he was able to make Aiden smile ironically.

Catherine chose to retreat slowly and hid behind a wall near the door. He leaned his back against the wall. He was sad to hear Mine's words. It's true that Catherine has always been busy with her work and her time with Mine has been limited.

Catherine was shocked when she saw Aiden coming out of the room. Their gazes met and were adrift with each other.

"Mine is asleep" cried Aiden, who was taken by Catherine.

Maybe Catherine was too busy with her thoughts to realize that Mine was asleep.

"Aiden. I want to talk" said Catherine.

"alright. We're talking in the park" Aiden said.

The two of them walked towards the park which was not far from Mine's room. They took seats in the garden chairs side by side.

"Aiden, why don't you tell Mine the truth that you're his real Daddy" Catherine exclaimed.

"I don't want to shock her. He just woke up. I'll say it slowly later after he's out of the hospital."

Catherine nodded in understanding. "I'll give you a chance to get closer to her" Catherine exclaimed despite the side in her heart being sick.

"Cath, I'm sorry for making it so hard for 5 years" Aiden exclaimed.

"No Aiden, don't apologize. Everything is destined for us. I don't regret any of that. Moreover, the birth of Jasmine was able to give light to my life. I'm happy to have given birth to a little angel" Catherine said.

"He is a little angel" cried Aiden.

"Mmmm... Aiden, about what Mine was talking about"

"I've been thinking about it. I'll marry you, Cath."

Catherine turned towards Aiden who was also looking at her. Their eyes met each other.

"I'm sorry Aiden, but I can't take it" Catherine exclaimed, leaving Aiden frowning.

"Cath"

"I'm not a doll, I have feelings. And I don't want to coexist with someone who doesn't even understand his own feelings. I do love you, but I don't need mercy from you."

Catherine moved from her seat and stood on Aiden's back.

"As you say, I can't sell my happiness. Then I'll do it, I want to live a happy life" Catherine said, her tears quietly drenching her cheeks.

He deliberately turned his back on Aiden so that Aiden would not see the tears that fell on his cheek.

"There's enough pain I feel. Don't pity me anymore" he said in a trembling voice. Catherine looked up to hold back her unbroken tears.

"Regarding Jasmine, even without us getting married, we can both take care of it together. I'm not going to forbid you to look at Jasmine and take her to your place."

Aiden pensively looked at Catherine's back in front of him.

"I'm done talking. I'm leaving, maybe tonight I'll be back to see Jasmine."

Catherine leaves Aiden alone.

'Why? Why does my chest hurt so much, Aiden's inner self clasped his own chest.

Aiden sat pensively in Jasmine's room. Mine is still asleep in his sleep. He thought of Catherine's words.

Catherine said she loved him, but she refused to marry him. And why was her heart so sore when she heard Catherine's rejection.

Did she love Catherine?

Catherine entered the nightclub and her gaze was fixed on Evelyn who was seen gulping down a drink in her glass.

Evelyn looked towards him.

"Go you! Don't bother me!" drive Evelyn.

"Eve, what's wrong with you?" ask Catherine.

It's not usually Evelyn's drunk like this. Evelyn was not even strong to drink, she would get drunk after drinking two glasses.

Someone at the club who Catherine knew contacted her and said Evelyn was drunk.

"Catherine," the cry made her turn her head.

"Alan, are you here?" ask Catherine.

"Yes, Evelyn called me. Why did he get so drunk" cried Alan when he saw Evelyn had lowered her head and rested her arms on the bartender's table.

"We're taking him home" said Alan, who was taken by Catherine.

The sunlight slowly barged into the slit of the room window making the master blink his eyes many times.

Evelyn had just woken up and she looked around as she moved out of her sleep.

"This is in my apartment. How did I get here" he murmured. "I remember last night I was in clum." Evelyn closed her eyes for a while to relieve the dizziness in her head.

"Are you awake?" the exclamation made him turn to someone who had just entered with a tray filled with a glass of water.

"Drink this drug, your dizziness will soon subside," he said, now sitting at the side of the bed, handing a single drug to Evelyn.

Without a word Evelyn received the medicine and drank the water.

"Catherine, why are you here? What about Mina?" ask Evelyn.

"Mine was there to accompany him. After this I'll go back to the hospital" Catherine said.

Evelyn turned her gaze the other way and pondered.

"Eve," called Catherine making Evelyn turn her head towards her.

"Why are you drinking? Can't you drink" he exclaimed.

"I just wanted to" Evelyn replied making Catherine sigh.

"Evelyn, is the man you were telling me about Aiden? Aiden is Mine's biological father?"

Evelyn's eyes widened to hear Catherine's words.

"Emm a-what are you saying, Cath," exclaimed Evelyn turning her gaze the other way.

"Since last night you kept saying his name. And you got drunk after I told you about Aiden."

Evelyn was silent, she did not know what to say.

"I'm sorry Cath. But I do love your Aiden," Evelyn muttered her head.

Catherine closed her eyes for a moment to get rid of the tightness in her chest. Actually, he hopes Evelyn loves another Aiden, but fate is so cruel that it traps them both.

"Eve, why apologize. You don't know that he's Mine's biological father." Catherine exclaimed pulling Evelyn's weeping chin and looked at Catherine.

"You must not despair. I don't have anything to do with him, even though he's Mine's biological father. You can still fight for your love" exclaimed Catherine pressing the tightness on her chest.

"But don't you love her too" Evelyn said.

"Yes. But you know, he always rejected me. Right now our attachment is only Jasmine. So you can be with her without feeling like you've betrayed me" Catherine exclaimed.

"Cath," Evelyn was deeply moved by Catherine's earlier exclamation.

Evelyn hugged Catherine's body. "Thank you."

Catherine closed her eyes and tried to suppress the tightness in her chest. He hoped Aiden would not reject Evelyn.
