                "Jasmine!"

Catherine opened the door of her room tightly making Jasmine turn her head towards her.

"Mom?"

Catherine walked quickly closer to Jasmine then pulled her into her arms. "How are you doing? Did they hurt you?"

"It's okay Mom, for there to be a handsome Uncle to help me," exclaimed Jasmine letting go of Catherine's embrace.

"Uncle Handsome?" catherine scrunched her forehead confused.

"Yes Mom, she's the one who broke me" said Jasmine.

Aidens...

"Have you thanked that Handsome Uncle?" ask Catherine.

"It's Mom."

"Smart kid." Catherine rubbed Jasmine's head gently.

"Mom, can we invite Uncle Charming to dinner together?" exciting Jasmine. "I want to take her to dinner together. And introduce her to Mommy."

Catherine was stunned to hear Jasmine's words just now. How could they possibly meet and have dinner together. Aiden can find out Jasmine's identity. The thing he was most afraid of. He was afraid that Aiden would snatch Jasmine from him.

"I'm sure Mom will like him. He's very kind," Jasmine said. "Especially he was very handsome, more handsome than Uncle Robert."

"What the hell are you talking about" Catherine exclaimed in discomfort. "You better rest first. Mom's gonna meet the foster mom first."

Catherin is currently at the police station regarding the attempted kidnapping of her daughter yesterday.

"How about sir, is there any news?"

The policeman in front of Catherin only sighed and allowed Catherin to sit quietly. Catherine said she was sitting in front of the police only blocked by a desk.

"How's it?"

"We still can't find the culprit. It seems like this guy has prepared everything. CCTV in the street was also damaged in front of the school gate of your child CCTV died. We were looking for them just holding on to the police number of the car which turned out to be a stolen car. Now the car looked damaged and burned to the ground so we couldn't look for fingerprints or signs of the perpetrator" the police officer told Catherine.

"If it's not wrong, I heard that your daughter was saved by a man. Can you ask the man to come here. We need eyewitness testimony, and he's the only one who saw the kidnapper."

Catherine was glued to her place when she heard the police talk. How could he ask Aiden to testify. That's the same way all the secrets will be exposed.

Can't! Catherine can't do that. If Aiden finds out about Jasmine, he fears Aiden will separate her from Jasmine and take custody. Catherine couldn't let that happen.

"I don't know the man, but I will try to find his whereabouts" Catherine exclaimed, keeping the fact that she knew Aiden a secret.

"Alright then, we will also continue to track the whereabouts of the kidnapper" police said.

"Thank you sir."

After that Catherine left the police station. He contacted Jasmine's nanny to always be by Jasmine's side and there would be two bodyguards protecting Jasmine as well as her nanny.

"You don't look well."

The cry made Catherine turn her head and saw Aiden coming into her room.

"It's none of your business! And can you knock on the door before you get into this room, Mr. Aidens!" catherine exclaimed in a cold tone.

"I've knocked a few times, and you've been busy with all sorts of thoughts." Aiden's exclaim made Catherine speechless.

"Are you in trouble?" aiden asked casually sitting in front of Catherine who was only blocked by the desk.

"I'm fine" cried Catherine.

"Alright then," cried Aiden casually. "These are some cooperation files with Horlang's company. You just have to sign it and re-read the deal" Aiden said, handing over the file to Catherine.

Catherine received the file and read it. Aiden is so reliable, his work is very satisfying and even Catherine feels so helped by Aiden. Aiden understands himself and what he wants.

"Looks like you're satisfied with my job" Aiden exclaimed as he looked at Catherine's countenance.

Catherine looked towards Aiden. "Don't be too proud first."

Aiden just smiled. "I'll take a few days off" she exclaimed, leaving Catherine frowning.

"I'm going to Indonesia" cried Aiden when he saw the look on Catherine's face as if asking why.

"Oh."

Catherine answered like that, though her heart was anxious and there was fear. It is possible that Aiden will meet again with Agneta, and what she feels for Agneta is still there. What if they get back into a relationship.

Catherine shook her head to dispel that thought. Why is he worried about it. After all the presence or absence of Agneta, Aiden's feelings are still not for him.

"Why?" aiden asked who was still staring at Catherine. "none. Then you don't have to worry about work."

"All right."
