"Yes, you did that."
"How can you?" ask Dara.
"I was almost desperate and lost my spirit after Maria. All the work I have left for me the purpose of life is to raise the Emperor alone. However, when I found you in Bali through my confidant, I realized that my mind was wrong. You raised my spirit again through the struggle you fought."
The night light cast a pseudo shadow on Dara's left cheek making the woman look beautiful. Moreover, his eye movements cast a wave-like shadow under his soft eyes.
Alehandro did not stop rubbing Dara's cheeks.
"You fought hard against the world with money. Trying to give comfort to your daughter even though you yourself live in a crush. You go through your days working hard. That's what makes me flinch. I left my job because I was devastated by the death of Mary who clearly loved me. Whereas you who should have fallen for the humiliation of the people because of your status to be a mother without a husband, do not hinder to keep going forward, continue to work hard for your daughter."
"I still have a mother who supports me and abundant possessions that make my life comfortable, whereas you only sleep in a simple boarding house without anyone helping you through the day. You just stick around and get through it all without complaining let alone looking weak" Alehandro said.
Dara's mouth was wide open. Her breath feels tight. How did this man know about his life in Bali when he had just set foot there?
"Have you been watching me from the beginning?" dara asked with eyes wide.
"Yes, I'm worried about your situation" Alehandro replied. Dara then went into the man's arms and cried.
"I guess at that time I myself no one cared about my fate and my son, it turned out I was wrong" he said.
Alehandro rubbed the back of his chest gently.
"You still have me," he said, making Dara's heart moved because she felt protected by the man.
''Thank you for taking care of me all this time" said Dara.
"That's all" Alehandro said.
"Then?"
"Marry me" said the man.
"You helped me because you had a certain purpose. You don't look sincere," grumbled Dara stretching her arms.
"How much do I owe you?" ask Dara. "Let me pay."
"I give you affection without you knowing and you have to pay with love" Alehandro whispered in Dara's ear, making Dara's face red.
The man's nose gently rubbed Dara's cheek until it stopped right on the woman's nose.
"Are you still rejecting me" asked Alehandro. Dara held onto Alehandro's cheeks and began to lay her lips on the man's lips, but then she gave up.
"I'm not good at this" said Dara shyly.
"I thought you were?"
"No I only did one night with Kris after that I left," said Dara staring at Alehandro.
"I don't mean to," Alehandro's words came to a halt as Dara's hand was placed on the man's lips.
"Whatever you've accepted me from the beginning with all my flaws, that's more than enough for me" she said sincerely.
"Then let me teach you how to do that well" Alehandro said.
"It's evening we should go back home," Dara refused to stand up to make Alehandro shake his head and smile.
They returned home with hands.
"I want to marry you as soon as possible" the man said as they were in front of Dara's room.
"When?"
"Tomorrow!" Alehandro.
"You crazy?"
"I'm still sane, I'm afraid to go into your room secretly if we don't get married as soon as possible" Alehandro said.
