"Are you hungry? What do you want to eat let me buy you a mumpung we're still on the road" bargained Kris. Dara then saw a row of food carts on the side of the road.
"I want to eat the chicken fried stuff," cried Dara.
"Oh, can't Dara just order food at the restaurant?" pinta Kris's.
"Oh, come on, if you don't want to be okay but I really want it. Eating on the side of the road has its own sensation. You can try it first before blaspheming if the food is not worth your consumption," said Dara.
"At the same time I was very hungry" added Dara. Finally Kris parked his vehicle at a roadside tent stall.
"You're here, let me order it" Kris said.
"We eat in the car instead" Dara suggested. Kris then pulled a button to open the roof of his car so that the sky and stars were clearly visible. After that, he went inside the stall to order food. Five minutes later he came back and sat down with Dara.
"Isn't this very romantic" Dara said. Kris then looked around and thought why Dara said this was so romantic.
"Sitting together in the dim light, with the roof of the sky and the moon" said Dara. Kris who heard it only scrunched his forehead.
"Try playing a song,?" dara Pinta.
Kris then played a song by Ed Sheeran shape of you. Dara started to sit back and kicked her. Kris then looked at Dara who was singing while moving her hands and head.
Kris started enjoying and singing. The woman was a cheerful type of woman, she had just gone through a hard day but she thought it was just a wind then only.
"Drinking fade and then we talk slow
(Drink faster and then we talk slower)
Come over and start up a conversation with just me
(Come in and start chatting with just me)
And trust me I'll give it a chance now
(And trust me I'll give you a chance now)
Take my hand, stop
(Get my hand, stop)
Put Van The Man on the jukebox
(Put Van The Man in the automatic music player)
And then we start to dance
(And then we started dancing)
And now I'm singing like
(Now I sing)
They then sang together not caring about the atmosphere around. Kris hasn't felt this free for a long time. They eat and joke. People think they are lovers in fact there is no relationship between them.
"I guess you just love dangdut songs" Kris said as they finished their meal. Dara then turned her face and saw there was a sambal on Kris's lips. He touched it with his thumb. It surprised Kris.
"It's never been this time" replied Kris. She began to feel something was wrong with her when Dara touched her lips. His entire body responded and his blood whirred fiercely to the heart making him beat violently.
Dara then took a tissue pouring mineral water to wash her hands outside.
"Hey what are you doing?" kris asked to see Dara crouching down to wash her hands outside the car.
"Wash your hands" replied Dara casually picking up a tissue and wiping her wet hands.
"There is no sink here, so you have to wash your hands on the side of the road" Dara said.
Kris opened his mouth to refuse but Dara approached him and began to pull Kris' hand towards the outside of the car and left the remaining mineral water in Kris's hand and rubbed it slowly. Their bodies are close to each other and touch. Kris could see Dara's face which was not two cent of hers. Her hair touched Kris's face and the smell of her body made her go crazy.
I want him to kiss that cheek. His consciousness is back again. He shook his head. He couldn't possibly make Dara suffer more because of her actions. She will marry a woman and Dara a good woman not a bad woman who wants to be with every man close to her.
Dara then distanced her body after washing Kris' hands, handing over the tissue. Kris wiped his hands with a tissue.
Dara smiled. " In fact we ourselves who make life difficult will all feel easy
if we make it fun. It is the same when we have a problem when we are too bad with our feelings of eating common sense we can not think clearly but if we believe if there is a way in every problem then all will feel easy."
"Remember God didn't promise, didn't give us trouble but he promised to help us out of trouble" Dara said.
"Your biggest problem is to be a perfectionist so you always think how to make your life look perfect while no one is perfect. While life teaches us to like imperfections, so we can understand everything well," said Dara at length.
"Have you ever complained?" ask Kris.
"What is my thread with complaining, there is only a sense of slump because I think my life has a bad destiny. But I also have something that not everyone has, a healthy body and a strong soul. The Lord also gave me a beautiful face and a good voice. Do you want to be aware of that?" Dara dried her eyes. Kris rolled his eyes lazy
"You're overconfident" Kris said.
"It's better than feeling inferior" Dara replied.
"We're going home" Kris said.
Dara breathed her. "Home home" he murmured.
"Is something wrong?" hearing the sad tone of the word home that Dara said.
"Nobody ever took me home" Dara replied with an awkward smile and lowered her head.
Kris was silent, and he closed the roof of his car and then turned it on and left the place.
A song by Michael Buble titled Home began to accompany the journey.
Let me go home. The excerpt of the song was buzzing in Dara's ear. Take me home Kris. However, he realized everything was only temporary because soon the man would belong to another woman. A more perfect woman for that man.
Dara then looked towards Kris. For Dara, Kris was a month she could not reach. He's self-conscious about it.
Has he fallen in love easily with the man? Dara did not know that she knew that she wanted to be next to the man. Is that not possible?
If it was a forbidden thing for him he would remain by the man's side until the time that would separate them later. I don't know when, but Dara hopes it won't happen.
