Loving Prospective Sister-in-law

Loving Prospective Sister-in-law
Pick up Dara

When Kris woke up this morning, the sky was gray and cloudy, and there had not been a drop of rain since he left the apartment. This sky seemed to describe his dark mood.

He then walked towards the car he parked on the lower floor of the apartment. This time, he went to Dara's house. He was no longer able to hold back all the feelings. She will forgive Dara for her actions that go to another man as long as the woman is willing to go back on her.

Kris got into the car and started turning the keys. For a moment he took a breath first before he started to advance his vehicle. A call came into Kris's phone. Call from Sheila.

Chris picked up the call.

"Kris we're going to have an important meeting with a company from Korea, I hope you don't forget it" Sheila said from behind the scenes.

"I'm sorry you handled that I have important business."

"What is more important than this!" sheila sounded annoyed. Before her mind was changed by Sheila Kris' words then turned off the call.

He then pressed the gas pedal and began to run his car towards the city that Dara occupied.

Kris glanced at the GPS and saw if it was still a few kilometers away from his destination. The frustrating thing was that he had to stop at every red light throughout the trip. Traffic looks crowded and hot. Why should he be in such a hurry he doesn't know. He himself was sure that Dara would not go anywhere. He works at the cafe in the afternoon and evening.

Millions of questions floated in Kris's mind yet she would not know before she met Dara. The answer to that question would not have been if he had not asked it directly.

An hour later Kris pulled over the vehicle and stopped at a cafe with a slanted-mounted board with a picture of the man holding a cigarette. Chris parked his car there. The rain welcomed his arrival here.

It's already afternoon and according to the employee on duty Dara will come around 3pm meaning the woman is most likely already there.

He then began to observe the place. Many couples are sitting around spending time in front of the cafe. Several men of her age walked into the cafe to spend their time relaxing with her friends. Maybe a lot of men will approach Dara.

Shaking his head and getting out of his BMW, Kris rushed towards the entrance, brushing off the raindrops on his shirt. Stepping past the small canopy above the door.

Once inside Kris looked around the cafe before taking a seat in the farthest corner of the cafe. A waitress approached him and placed the menu book on the table.

"Coffee only," he murmured.

"Alright," said the waiter, waltzing toward the bar to pour some coffee.

The waiter returned a moment later and placed the cup so recklessly that it made the black liquid touch the edge of the cup. Smiling apologetically the waiter put down the napkin.

"If there's anything I can get for you, just call me" said the waiter flirtatiously. Kris looked annoyed but he did not want to make a fuss and trouble. He just wants to see Dara. Kris almost asked the waiter about Dara when the maid turned her back and turned her back. He wanted to call but the words were swallowed back when he saw another waiter approaching towards the waiter who had just prepared coffee for him.

"The new singer has resigned" cried the waiter restrained.

"Why? Wasn't he Mr. Ray's favorite singer, they were often seen together in the dressing room. I suspect they have more relationship."

"Sir Ray also often drove him away or came here with Dara. Do they live together?" said the waiter again.

Kris's face flushed to hear the gossip from the servants. He could only clench his palms.

"According to one of Mr. Ray's cousins, Dara was his future wife" the waiter added.

"Are they gonna get married so Dara's out of this cafe."

"Most likely yes. Uh I've seen him vomit in the bathroom a few times. I thought she was pregnant."

"Pregnant son of Mr Ray?"

"Maybe .. because like you said they were often together in the dressing room. And we don't know what they're doing there" the waiter added.

Brak!

Kris immediately stood up, shifting his chair roughly so that it made a loud noise. The two servants looked surprised and looked at Kris.

"This waiter's money to pay for his coffee," said Kris put down a hundred thousand pieces and walked out.

"His change," cried the servant who served him earlier. Kris remained silent not answering the servant's call.

Getting pregnant? Kris took a deep breath, calming down. How many months would she be pregnant if three months meant it was her child. But if it is less than that then Dara is pregnant from another man.

Kris's head felt like it was pierced by thousands of needles. He then went back to his car and entered to return to Dara's house asking for answers to all his questions.

A feeling of fear clogged Kris' throat, and squeezed her up to her nostrils twitched as she tried to catch her breath. He hoped this child was his son not another man's son.

Dara gets into the car that will take her to Jakarta. He sat next to Ray who was serving as a driver. While Bu Savitri sat in the back seat with a pile of luggage because their luggage was full of the items they needed later there.

Neighbors and relatives of Ms Savitri were seen standing outside the car.

"Have you brought everything Dara and nothing left?" ask Savitri.

"Why do you have to get out of here?" asked Ray in annoyance. Dara who just got into the car smilingly looked at Bu Savitri.

"Nothing is left, Mom. I want to go back to Jakarta to start my business there" Dara replied to everyone.

"Didn't you just move in here, Dara, and why should Auntie come too?" ray asked, getting annoyed.

Dara doesn't know what to say. All this felt sudden for him. I don't know why suddenly Ibu Savitri wants them to go to Jakarta today. Can't talk about it first. There's no plan, they're gonna go there and find a rented house.

The car then began to slowly leave the densely populated housing while everyone began to be seen waving their hands with their departure.

Accidentally, Kris's closed car passed their car.
