Family Perfection

Alehandro was drinking his coffee on the balcony of his room while reading the news in the newspaper. He then pondered over everything that had happened during his and Mary's time together. For the past two months, her marriage with Maria has been going well, no problem.

Grandpa Maria has admitted her mistake. Although several times Mary refused his arrival but did not make the man's intentions recede. He still came to bring gifts or just to greet his grandson.

Mom Lusi began advising Maria to learn to forgive her until she finally accepted her grandfather's arrival well and began to accept it.

But the problem is not over there. Mary had not yet come to meet Natalia, her birth mother, the one who had left her from childhood. Whatever Alehandro and Lusi say he doesn't ignore.

Alehandro again sipped his coffee when he heard a scream from the bathroom. He immediately spouted out the coffee, placed the cup on the table and ran quickly towards the bathroom.

"Mary what's wrong?" alehandro panicked.

Mary smiled and hugged her husband.

"What's wrong?" alehandro did not understand. Maria then let go of her embrace and showed her the test pack in her hand

"Here," Alehandro's face looked puzzled, he looked at Maria. His eyes instantly condensed. Without saying anything she hugged Maria.

Her crying sounded so loud that it came out. His body shook violently. His legs felt weak he immediately fell down and crouched down while holding the test pack.

Mary crouched down in front of Alehandro. The man then kissed Maria all over and smiled broadly.

"Thank you, you gave me the most wonderful news" Alehandro whispered with trembling lips. Mary followed and rubbed Alehandro's wet cheeks. He did not expect Alehandro's reaction to be so happy that it moved Maria.

Her husband has always been a good partner to her. Always take care of her needs and always be attentive. He even gave her a glass of milk to nourish her womb.

"What is Alehandro why are you crying so hard" Mom Lusi shouted as she entered Alehandro's room. He then walked towards the bathroom and saw Alehandro and Maria crouching looking at him.

Their faces were both wet but a smile emanated from the two.

"What's wrong?" ask Mom Lusi. Alehandro then stood up and handed the test pack to Mom Lusi.

"Two red lines, that means .. ," Mom Lusi instantly fainted. Alehandro caught his mother's body before falling to the floor.

Maria immediately helped Alehandro. Alehandro then carried the slightly fat body of his mother to the bed.

"Why Mom?" ask Maria to worry.

"He was just too excited by this news to fall unconscious. I forgot that his heart disease forbade him to get news that would surprise him."

"Hurry to get eucalyptus oil after that get the mother's medicine that is on the nightstand of her bed. Drugs with small granules," Alehandro explained. Mary took the eucalyptus oil on her nightstand and gave it to Alehandro. Alehandro then rubbed it around Luci's nose and legs.

He smelled Susi's nose with the eucalyptus oil.

"Mom, get up" called Alehandro quietly. Lusi's eyelids then moved. He opened his eyes slowly.

"Ale, what's going on?" asked Mom Lusi while holding her chest that felt pain.

Alehandro smiled.Mom Lusi immediately recalled the last incident.

"Mary is pregnant, yes I remember that," cried Mom Lusi happily.

"He's taking your medicine, Mom," Alehandro replied. Mom Lusi then hit her son's thigh hard.

"You forget that if she's pregnant you shouldn't tell her, you'll just pick her up or tell the other waiter" she exclaimed.

"She's pregnant, Mom, instead of not being able to move," Alehandro replied casually.

"You are, now Mom say yes, if you should be taking good care of your pregnant wife. Can't tell her, and you must always make her heart happy if you want the child in the womb of Mary to be safe" explained Lusi at length.

"Ish, Mom's so scary to say that. However, I will obey everything Mom says," Alehandro said.

Maria then entered the room with a medicine bottle in her hand and saw the two people she loved looking at her.

"Mom, I've brought you your medicine" said Maria approaching but her hand was reached by Luci.

He drew Mary's hand to sit beside him.Seeing Mary with a sad look.

"Thank you for giving me something I've wanted all along. This is the most beautiful gift that God has given to this family. I don't need the medicine, because the news is the antidote to my longing for a grandchild to come along" said Mom Lusi. He rubbed Maria's cheek.

Maria hugged Lucia. "I'm happy to have you both, you love me so much and I really understand what it means to have a full family" Maria said.

"I'm also lucky to have such an understanding son-in-law like you, you never demand anything from us never protest let alone get angry. If you're angry at your husband it should be otherwise, he'll always be playing around out there!" mom Luci rubbed Maria's back.

"From Mom, I understand what it's like to have a mother get affection and attention. Mom I love you so much, don't get sick, I was so scared just now to see you lying down" Maria said in tears.

Alehandro who saw became moved. He felt his family had been surrounded by happiness nothing less than his life now. Everything feels perfect and hope that perfection is not lost from it.

"Have you forgotten me?" ask Alehandro.

Luci then stretched one hand towards Alehandro and they embraced each other.

"We have to order a thousand boxes of rice to be distributed to everyone on the roadside and the slums to celebrate" Mom Lusi said suddenly.

"We will also hold a party to welcome Dara's pregnancy," said Alehandro enthusiastically.

"No! I don't want a party" said Maria.

"It would cost a lot of money but find no use for it."

"We can have fun to celebrate this happiness" Alehandro said.

"Happy doesn't mean partying, we can use that party money to support orphans in orphanages. We can hold a simple lecture there and celebrate it there. They will be happy if we do" Maria said.

"And you will get prayers from those children" said Mom Lusi. Maria nodded her head.

"You're a good wife, Maria. Mom was right to have chosen you to accompany me forever" Alehandro said.

"I'm lucky to have you in my life, and the presence of our future children will make it all perfect" Maria said. Alehandro then kissed Maria.
