"Nobody will let you set foot here!"
The sound coming from the direction of the house made Haqi fixated.
Hulliyah's father came out of the house haughtily. Hulliyah's father walked up to Haqi who was still stunned without moving from where he stood.
"What are you coming for?" ask Hulliyah's father.
"I heard Sypa was sick, I wanted to meet him" Haqi replied.
"You better go home! Until I won't let you meet my son."
The father then entered the house accompanied by his brother Hulliyah.
Haqi was still stunned in his place not budging at all. Haqi did not want to go home, but he also could not meet his wife.
"Son, let's go to Grandpa's!"
A grandfather suddenly invited Haqi to rest. It seemed like the grandfather felt sorry to see Haqi looking exhausted.
Haqi followed his grandfather's steps towards his modest home. The house is still layered bamboo woven as the wall looks fragile. The house which happened to be located right next to the Hulliyah house became the only house that was still in the form of a stage.
Haqi entered the house, a little hesitating because Haqi had just known the owner of the house.
"Grandfather lives alone here?" ask Haqi.
His eyes circulated every inch of the room he could reach.
The grandfather sat down after carrying a pot of water and a glass made of stainless. The grandfather poured water into the empty glass and poured it on Haqi.
"This week, Grandpa did live alone. Previously Grandpa lived with Grandpa's wife."
"Where's Grandpa's wife going this week?" ask Haqi.
"Grandfather's wife left first, now she has a new, nicer house." A smile was given by the grandfather when he told a story.
"I mean Grandpa?" Haqi felt incomprehensible to the words of the grandfather.
"Grandfather's wife died a week ago."
Haqi slightly flinched with the words of the Grandfather.
"Innalillahi, sorry Cake." Haqi was very uneasy about it.
The grandfather shook his head slowly then said, "His father Lia is hard, son, but he is kind-hearted. Gradually it will surely melt too with your persistence softening his heart."
Haqi simply nodded with a faint smile in response to the words of the grandfather who managed to divert the conversation.
That afternoon Haqi chatted a lot with the grandfather.
Haqi decided to stay at his grandfather's house because it was getting dark.
-------------
Haqi participated in the prayer magrib and isya in the mosque in the village. Haqi met his father-in-law, but did not greet each other.
Hulliyah's father felt really disappointed in Haqi whom he considered to have tarnished his trust.
Haqi could only pray in every prostration that all his paths be made easier and soon there was a way out.
After returning home to the grandfather, Haqi immediately rested in a room that the grandfather prepared specifically for guests.
A room that was quite stuffy without any windows that could be opened would be where Haqi rested tonight.
On the side of the wall there is a transparent glass that can be used to just give light to the room when daylight arrives.
Haqi walked towards the window that was not covered by the curtain. Haqi rubbed a bit of dust against the glass.
His mind floated, what was Hulliyah doing?
Haqi almost blamed his eyes when he was seen across the street, Hulliyah opened the window of his room. Hulliyah was seen daydreaming in front of her window.
It turned out that the room that Haqi occupied was right in front of Hulliyah's room.
Haqi longed to call Hulliyah, but circumstances were not possible. Haqi felt like he was confined in that stuffy room.
Finally, what Haqi did was to look at Hulliyah behind the small glass.
Looking at the dreamy Hulliyah with her blank look, Haqi was full of witnessing it. Haqi was not tired of looking at his wife until suddenly the look on Hulliyah's face changed.
Haqi ran out of the house and approached Hulliyah. Haqi arrived in front of the window that Hulliyah had opened. Haqi looked at Hulliyah who had fainted and just fell down for no reason.
"Sypa ... Why are you? Wake up!"
Lirih Haqi said.
Haqi ran to the front of Hulliyah's house knocking on the door.
When the door opened, the father saw the door open.
"Assynnnya ... Mr."
"Would you like to come here?" said Hulliyah's father.
The heat-stricken Haqi actually wanted to barge in, yet he knew it would make matters worse.
"I saw Sypa pass out in Sir's room."
The father looked very shocked and quickly closed the door so that Haqi could not enter.
Haqi let out a long sigh then walked towards the window of Hulliyah's room.
Upon arrival at the window, Haqi was very worried, especially when he saw Hulliyah did not wake up even though he had been awakened by his father and mother there.
Haqi felt like a useless husband, Haqi couldn't do anything to see his wife faint.
"Lia ... wake up Li!"
My mother looks panicked.
"Let me in!" Haqi.
The father turned his head and glanced sharply, then walked closer to the window.
The father closed the window wordlessly, Haqi could only close his eyes to quell the anger that was beginning to flare up in his soul.
Haqi continued to take pride in his heart so that the shatan did not take over his body. Haqi only hoped that Hulliyah would quickly come to her senses.
Haqi went limp to the grandfather's house, waiting for news of Hulliyah. Haqi sat on a simple wooden bench in front of the grandfather's house.
His heart was really messed up at this moment, Haqi grabbed his own hair. Haqi really hated this situation.
Suddenly a commotion was heard at Hulliyah's house. The father looked out of the house and took out his motorbike. Haqi approached quickly.
"How's the Sypa doing, sir?
The father closed his mouth tightly not intending to answer Haqi's question.
After pulling out his motorbike, the father went back inside the house. I don't know the courage from which Haqi entered through the door that was left open.
Haqi followed his in-laws who entered into Hulliyah's room. The father seems to have difficulty when he will lift the body of Hulliyah who is now on his back.
"Let me carry it!"
Haqi walked in just like that then grabbed Hulliyah's body and lifted her up.
"Down my son!" said Hulliyah's father.
"I am more entitled about the Father's son. I hope you are quiet for now!"
Haqi raised his voice then took Hulliyah out of the room followed by her mother.
"Where are you going Sypa Bu?" ask Haqi.
"To Doctor Ramlan, son. But it's a long way away."
"So you want to take the Sypa on a motorcycle?" ask Haqi.
They were now on the porch of the house, the father quickly turned on his motorbike.
