Haqi completely kept his promise not to approach Hulliyah. Although he was very longing, Haqi chose to see Hulliyah from a distance. Haqi stifled his desire to get close, Haqi averted his thoughts by busying himself to work.
Like this afternoon, Haqi who came to see the drilling well construction project in the Pesantren area actually saw Hulliyah running towards him. It felt like Haqi greeted him with a hug. Yet Haqi could not break his promise, Haqi had to dodge.
I'm sorry Sypa! Just be patient in a minute.
Haqi rushed away from there, not wanting everything to be a problem anymore Haqi walked away from the place.
The plan is Haqi will fly to Palembang after the drilling well project is completed. Counting on a few more weeks the construction was completed, making Haqi excited.
His parents had several times contacted and asked for the continuation of Haqi's goodwill, but Haqi always bailed his time because of work.
Haqi wanted the matter to be resolved gradually and to propose to Hulliyah he did not want to rush.
----------------------
This afternoon Haqi and Ustadz Zamzam went to the bookstore. Together they will find LKS books for their students.
Arriving there Haqi who was driving a car was slightly fixated when he saw Hulliyah who came out of the store with Neli. Haqi wanted to go out and greet him but his stupid brain refused blatantly.
"Yuk Qi! Out!" bring Ustadz Zamzam.
Haqi blinked stiffly.
"Mm.anu, Ustadz only buy. I'm waiting here!"
Ustadz Zamzam seemed astonished to see the unusual gurgle of his best friend.
"Oh, wait a minute!"
Ustadz Zamzam got out of the car. Sure enough, when Ustadz Zamzam came out he immediately crossed paths with Hulliyah. As they greeted each other, the Ustadz was seen pointing towards the car. Haqi had guessed it must have been Ustadz Zamzam telling her whereabouts. But foolishly Haqi hid instead.
Hulliyah seemed to step hesitantly closer to Haqi's car. The windshield slowly, while Haqi, who could not avoid it, finally gave up.
Haqi opened the glass window and smiled sinlessly.
"Assalamualaikum." hail Hulliyah hesitated.
"Vaalaikumussalam Sypa...."
Haqi also invited Hulliyah into the car, chatting what's wrong, right?
After Hulliyah was beside him, silence took over. Too many words that they want to say so both are confused about where to start.
"Son, how are you?"
The first question of Hulliyah's lips finally broke the silence.
"Alhamdulillah well, Sypa itself how?"
Haqi said stiffly.
"Yes, this is ... good even very good." Hulliyah smiled who was impressed forced.
Haqi did not immediately answer, he was busy looking at his phone.
"Son intentionally avoided, right?" ask Hulliyah.
Haqi blinked then turned his head towards Hulliyah.
"I know Brother dodged."
Hulliyah smiled saying that.
Hulliyah turned her face the other way, wherever it was important not to see Haqi's face.
"Assalamualaikum Mi's...."
Haqi suddenly spoke making Hulliyah glance at him. Haqi deliberately made a video call with his mother.
"Waalaikumusalam Nak, where else is it? I'm in the car."
Haqi chuckled softly then said, "Hundred for Umi. I'm in the car with Mantu Umi."
Haqi pointed his cell phone camera towards Hulliyah. That made Hulliyah misbehave.
"The name is Sypa, sweet, isn't it my wife?" Haqi.
"Mashaalloh is so sweet, Umi wants dong to talk to Mantu."
Haqi also gave his phone to Hulliyah, Haqi came closer so that his face also appeared on the screen. Hulliyah was a little uncomfortable because now the distance of Haqi's face and also his face was very close. Just a little bit is definitely worth it.
"Wait for me, son! We'll meet soon."
The father-in-law could not wait to meet his son-in-law.
"Umi nitip Haqi yes, he is actually a spoiled child. Please understand" said his mother Haqi.
Hulliyah turned towards Haqi who was scratching his nape.
Haqi a spoiled child?
"Well, yes, yes. Drug Umi dear assalamualaikum...."
Haqi cut the video off unilaterally.
"Loh sister, Umi's not done talking."
Hulliyah did not accept Haqi's actions.
"If executed, Umi said he would continue to digress."
"What's wrong? Umi just talked about the spoiled child brother," said Hulliyah.
Now Haqi looked at Hulliyah deeply.
"I'm spoiled you accept?" tanyakanya.
Hulliyah nodded her eyes now returning Haqi's gaze.
"Besides being spoiled I'm also slovenly, do you accept?"
Again Hulliyah nodded without turning her eyes away.
"I also have trouble getting up early, if I eat a mess of rice everywhere, I also never lipet clothes that have been dry in the clothesline, I like to forget to bring a towel if you want to take a shower. You accept?"
Hulliyah smiled. Whether conscious or not, his hand held Haqi's cheek.
"I will accept all the shortcomings Brother, Brother difficult to wake up later I wake up, eat mess later I sapuin, clothes later I lipetin, if Brother does not bring a towel after shower later I take."
Haqi was stunned to hear Hulliyah's words, "really?"
Hulliyah nodded confidently.
"Hold on in a minute, waiting for me to inaugurate you."
Haqi said softly, immediately then kissed his wife's temple long ago.
The kiss only came off after a glass knock from outside. It turned out that Ustadz Zamzam was done and waiting for the heat outside.
"For the time being we must live life like this, but once official I take you from Pesantren and your parents. I promise to pay for all our wasted time. Will you wait for me?"
Hulliyah looked solemnity in both of Haqi's eyes. Hulliyah nodded and smiled.
Haqi was relieved and finally opened the car door first, then walked around and opened the door for Hulliyah.
After Hulliyah came out and they stood on equal footing, Haqi held Hulliyah's head rubbing it slowly.
"Be careful!" whispered Haqi.
"Ow .. ouh .. woi already! This heat."
Ustadz Zamzam, who had entered the car, had taunted Haqi.
"Sorry Stadz" Hulliyah said he felt bad for Ustadz Zamzam.
"Little Li, yuk Qi! It's daytime."
They split up there, Hulliyah stared at the car until it was invisible from the reach of his eyes.
Hulliyah also walked looking for Neli and the car he had been riding. But after going around looking for him, Hulliyah never found him.
Hulliyah finally reached into the tote bag she was carrying, taking her mobile phone.
Apparently Neli sent him a message that had gone for a while to buy kitchen spices to the nearest Market. Then on the next message Neli said that his car broke down and had to go to the workshop.
Hulliyah let out her breath, her eyes turned to the left and right looking in case there was a passing public transport.
Lucky for him, an angkot flashed by.
Hulliyah finally returned home on the angkot, carrying a flowery heart bearing a dream that soon became real.
