LDP S3: The Jewel of the Underworld

Ch. 5 — Heirloom Weapons.

“I agree. However, you must ensure my safety during my time on this mission. And, you should also prepare a disguise as to what I should do since I have absolutely no idea about the state of Underworld.”

Heilong would certainly not accept this task outright. For who would sacrifice his life to the Devil Nation. He could not estimate the percentage of success in carrying out this task, but a variety of risks that were quite clear had been drawn in his mind.

If you die during the task in the Underworld maybe it will not be too painful. But, what if when he was on the verge of his life then was turned into a demon by one of the Demon Lords and spread terror everywhere? Heilong would naturally not want to bear such a heavy sin.

“Hamba also agrees with Heilong's remarks. Not that I want to refuse orders. However, the risk in this task was indeed too great. If the servant until turned into a demon by the Demon King, then the secret in the Northern God Realm will leak into the hands of the Devil Nation,” said Zhi Ming in support of Heilong's remarks.

As a Supreme God who often observes activists in the Underworld even indirectly, Li Ting of course found out how dangerous this mission was including all sorts of risks that Heilong and Zhi Ming would accept if the two of them failed to complete this task.

“Come!” Li Ting who was currently sitting back on top of the ice throne, suddenly ordered Heilong to approach.

Without the slightest bit of suspicion, Heilong walked slowly closer to where Li Ting was only a few meters away. The closer he got to Li Ting then a sufficiently strong suppression of energy pressure would overload his body.

“Take out the Eternal Dragon War Sword and Cloak that Dao Xue Lian had given you back then,” exclaimed Li Ting again giving the Heilong orders.

Heilong was slightly surprised when he heard Li Ting mention about the Eternal Dragon War Sword and Cloak. Because, after getting the two heirlooms from the hands of Dao Xue Lian, Heilong rarely used the two heirlooms. In fact, he himself had forgotten that he had a set of dark element heirloom weapons.

Yep! The Eternal Dragon Sword and the Eternal Dragon War Cloak were indeed not very useful to Heilong as he himself had yet to deepen about the power of the darkness element although the Divine Beast Lambda had given him the purest seed of the darkness element.

Moreover, the Eternal Dragon Sword had lost the weapon spirit that was the soul of an heirloom sword. Thus, even though the Eternal Dragon Heirloom Sword was one of the strongest heirloom fields in the Underworld, the heirloom sword would never be able to bring out its full power. In other words it was no better than an ordinary heirloom sword.

Heilong immediately took out the Eternal Dragon Sword and Eternal Dragon War Cloak from within his Soul World.

The pressure of the darkness energy and the dense Demon Eve instantly filled this space as soon as Heilong took out the two heirlooms from within his Soul World.

“Truly a very powerful heirloom object. Although it has lost its weapon spirit but these two heirlooms are able to show this much power.”

Li Ting frowned and immediately acted quickly. He plucked his finger toward the two heirloom weapons and used his power to suppress the Demon Eve that came out of the two heirlooms before polluting the God Realm.

Heilong then gave the two heirlooms to Li Ting. He was also curious what Li Ting would do with these two heirlooms that came from the Underworld.

Without wasting much time, Li Ting instantly turned the two heirlooms into two different heirlooms after receiving them from Heilong's hands.

The shape of the Eternal Dragon Sword was changed to resemble an ordinary heirloom sword without any carvings. Li Ting deliberately removed the ethereal dragon carvings present in some parts of the heirloom sword to disappear the trace that this heirloom object came from Dao Xue Lian.

However, the power of the darkness element and the demonic air within the heirloom sword was still maintained by Li Ting. Because, the two things will support Heilong during the disguise in the Underworld.

The same thing Li Ting did on the Eternal Dragon War Cloak.

“Wear these clothes as long as you are in the Underworld. This outfit will make the aura emanating from your body become like a Devil Nation in general. As long as you are in the Underworld, I also strictly forbid you to use the power of the light element or the power of the heavenly fire that you received from the Unicorn Race.”

Li Ting gave a new set of clothes made from the Eternal Dragon War Cloak to Heilong while giving some warning. The power of the light element is the eternal enemy of the devil. So, once Heilong unleashed the power of the light element then at that very moment his disguise would be uncovered.

Heilong did not ask much and immediately put on a set of clothes that Li Ting had just given and the dense demonic air instantly enveloped Heilong's body. But strangely, this demonic air was unable to pollute Heilong's mind.

Perhaps Li Ting had put up some special barriers on these clothes so that the demon air that was inside these clothes did not affect its user.

Or, it was possible that the power of the light element that Heilong possessed was able to block the demonic air that was inside this clothing so as not to pollute his body and mind. Heilong still wanted to find out about this after he had enough time in the future.

Next, Li Ting turned his gaze to Zhi Ming then exclaimed. “Be the spirit of the weapon and enter into this heirloom sword.”

Zhi Ming immediately turned his form into a weapon spirit and entered into the heirloom sword that was still in Li Ting's grasp. Although he felt ashamed, he did not dare to refute because this was a direct order from the Supreme God.

Heilong did not know that Zhi Ming's original form before being appointed as the God of the North Gate Guard was a weapon spirit. Of course this was a big surprise for Heilong.
