Ch. 40 — With Just One Finger.

Zhao Xu paused his intention to attack the Fu Clan Pavilion after hearing Heilong's words and saw with his own eyes the compensation that Princess Fu Rong had given.

The two of them spent quite a while chatting over tea because Heilong asked Zhao Xu a lot of questions about the state of the Demon Birth Star. Zhao Xu answered all of Heilong's questions patiently considering this was his first time visiting the Demon Birth Star.

From his conversation with Zhao Xu, Heilong also got some important information about the Demon Birth Star and the large Clans that the Demon Lords had set up directly.

According to the information from Zhao Xu, most of the territory in this Demon Birth Star had been controlled by the Fu Clan and the Dao Clan. However, the Dao Clan preferred to control the area around the Demon Birth Lake where the Dao Demon King was serving his punishment.

Anyone who wanted to get close to the Dark Origin Tree and the Demon Birth Lake had to get permission from the Dao Clan unless they were carrying special warrants from the Demon Lords.

After being satisfied to get information, Heilong immediately went into his room without and missed dinner because he had something he wanted to do immediately: study the Dao.

The Devil's Birth Lake.

As usual, at the entrance of the Demon Birth Lake there were always guards coming from the Dao Clan. Because, the location of the Dao Clan pavilion was the closest to this place. So they had to guarantee security around the Demon Birth Lake for 24 hours.

“I heard the useless Prince of the Zhao Clan has come to the Demon Birth Star and instantly made trouble with one of the members of the Fu.” Clan

“Where did you get this news?”

“From the man who was meditating there. The man was named Fu Yu and he was the one who had chastised the useless Prince so that it made Princess Fu Rong angry and rebuked him loudly.”

Fu Yu who was currently meditating near the Devil Birth Lake could clearly hear the speaker of these two guards. He became upset and immediately ended his meditation and decided to return to the Fu Clan Pavilion.

Zhi Ming recalled that Heilong had meditated for a very long time while inside the Mysterious World that was inside the ancient ruins. Back then, he also thought that Heilong had been in an accident during meditation and had his consciousness locked up.

However, after seeing the current Heilong, Zhi Ming only realized that his thoughts at that time were too excessive. It seemed that Heilong had received some sort of inheritance about the Space Dao during his meditations within the Mysterious World.

“Do not think of unnecessary things. You better think about how we can immediately find the existence of heirloom objects that the Supreme God wants so that we can immediately return to the God Realm,” Heilong said.

Heilong apparently did not completely close all of his five senses one meditated. Therefore, he immediately regained his senses and ended his meditation as soon as he heard Zhi Ming talk about it.

“Why did you end your meditation so soon. Was the concentration instantly shattered just from hearing my words?” Zhi Ming looked annoyed.

“This has nothing to do with you.” Heilong then stretched out his index finger which had been filled with the power of the Space Dao. “I want to try my Space Dao power. I should have been able to move even though the distance was still very limited.”

Heilong then moved his index finger like a sword splitting something.

Instantly, the previously intact and invisible dimensional barrier wall instantly appeared an elongated crack and showed Heilong the other side of this World that was filled with extremely chaotic energy.

“Dimensional Crack?! You can split space with just one finger?!” Zhi Ming could no longer hide his shock.

A one meter long dimensional portal had currently appeared before Heilong.

“Why do you look so surprised? Have you never seen a dimensional portal?” Heilong ignored Zhi Ming and immediately entered into the dimensional portal.

The chaotic swirl of energy like thousands of lightning bolts ready to destroy the world instantly greeted Heilong as soon as he entered into this dimensional portal.

This dimensional portal was very different from the dimensional portal he had used in the God Realm to go to the ancient ruins. Just one word could describe the atmosphere inside the dimensional portal Heilong had just opened was dangerous.

However, Heilong did not want to return without bringing any results since he decided to try out the power of his Space Dao. He also began to walk down this chaotic dimensional crack while continuing to avoid the energy vortex that was attacking towards him.

Occasionally, he would try to stabilize the chaotic energy vortex with the power of his Space Dao and form the layers of a dimensional passageway.

However, the power of the Space Dao he currently possessed was only able to stabilize the energy vortex that had a height of no more than two meters.

That means that the dimensional passageway Heilong made will only be passed by one person. While he himself has not been able to estimate how long the dimensional hallway he made was able to survive.
