Ch. 26 — Lost?!

“What are you thinking? Have you lost interest in moving this Palace into your soul world after knowing that I will not be able to come with you to leave this place?” Xiao Zhao's soul finally reprimanded Heilong when he saw Heilong begin to sink into anxiety.

He even had time to think whether Heilong was completely unaware that the Dao had to be learned by himself in order to obtain satisfactory results, rather than relying on the guidance of others. Because, the views and understanding of each person about the Dao must be different.

“Not so. But, what will be the fate of the next generation Xiao Clan if I take this Palace of Light? Didn't you say that this Palace of Light is a legacy that was given to the Xiao Clan so that they can learn the Dao more quickly and correctly,” Heilong replied evasively.

In just a single blink of an eye, the two of them had been outside the Palace of Light and a thread of Xiao Zhao's soul began to release the seal connecting him to this Palace.

There was nothing special when Xiao Zhao's soul severed his connection with the Palace of Light. The light palace only trembled for a few breaths as the aura belonging to ancestor Xiao Zhao disappeared from within the Palace. However, this was a very reasonable thing considering that ancestor Xiao Zhao had actually severed his connection with this Palace of Light.

The size of the Light Palace then shrank at an extremely frightening speed. In just five breaths of time, the Palace of Light had turned into the size of a palm and landed on the palm of Heilong's hand.

“Take the Palace of Light and return to the Mysterious World. The Palace of Light will fuse itself into your Soul World when you re-unite with your physical body.”

A wisp of Xiao Zhao's soul finally disappeared from this place after handing the Palace of Light over to Heilong and an extremely strong gust of wind suddenly appeared then threw Heilong's soul towards the mysterious world it was in.

Mysterious World.

Zhi Ming who was in the form of a sword was getting tired of waiting for Heilong who never finished his meditation. Both of them had been on the shore of the lake for four years.

Zhi Ming was actually afraid that he would be confined within these ancient ruins. No one knows when these ancient ruins will be reopened.

However, these ancient ruins would obviously be covered in half a year and Zhi Ming intended to make use of that half a month's time to return to the God Realm and find a solution to overcome this problem on the Gods Top-level.

Seven days had passed since Heilong's soul returned to his physical body and he finally opened his eyes.

The magnificent view of the lake instantly greeted the horizon of his eyes and made him feel calm. He could also feel if his strength was increasing even though the aura radiance coming out of his body currently had a different color than before and seemed vague.

The sudden voice of Zhi Ming's shout coming from the side shocked Heilong. “What happened to your cultivation?! Where is your cultivation level?”

Currently, Zhi Ming could not see the aura emanating from Heilong's body at all so he could no longer determine the level of cultivation Heilong possessed.

“I had an accident while meditating. And, my cultivation seems to .. Disappear for a while,” Heilong replied casually.
