LDP S3: The Jewel of the Underworld
Ch. 31 — Demon King Orders.

Two Days later.

During these two days, Heilong had always spent his time inside the Prince's Palace. It was not that he did not want to go around and look for information, but all of this was a direct order from Demon King Zhao.

In front of the door of Heilong Palace has also placed dozens of Palace guards with full weaponry that makes it difficult to move anywhere. I don't know what Demon King Zhao actually feared to make Heilong's space become more limited.

At first Heilong thought that Demon King Zhao was deliberately tightening the guard in this palace to prevent Heilong from escaping from this Palace. However, the complete weaponry brought by the soldiers made Heilong think again. It was possible that this Demon King Zhao had such a powerful enemy that he became worried about the safety of his heir to the throne.

However, Heilong also got a slight advantage from the guard that was so tight outside this Palace that the guards on the inside of the Palace became increasingly loose and made Heilong become more comfortable to ask the servants who were delivering food.

From the few servants who frequently came to deliver food to him, Heilong obtained a bit of information about the seven Demon Lords and the various large Clans that existed in the Underworld. In fact, he also knew the names of each of those Demon Lords.

The supreme leader in the entire Underworld was the Demon King Dao Gi or better known as the Demon King Dao.

Under the Dao Demon King, there was Demon King Fu as the second greatest power holder in the Underworld.

After Demon King Fu, there were five other Demon Lords who had the equivalent strength of one another long the five of them were Demon King Zhao, Demon King Xu, Demon King Liu, and the other Demon King, Demon King Zhang and Demon King Gao.

All of these Demon Lords had established their respective Clans according to their surnames and became the supreme leader within the Clan. A small example was the Zhao Clan created by Demon King Zhao and was currently the place where Heilong took shelter.

Within the Zhao Clan there was indeed a patriarch who occasionally showed his face. However, the supreme power remained in the hands of Demon King Zhao who established the Palace in the midst of the Clan. In other words the function of the patriarch in this Clan was nothing more than a mere complementary puppet as all the important affairs in the Clan were still taken over by Demon King Zhao.

The same thing was experienced by the other Clans founded by the Demon Lords. Only the small Clans that had nothing to do with the blood of the descendants of the Demon King were walking normally and led by a patriarch.

As usual, Heilong always spent his mornings eating breakfast while chatting with some servants to dig deeper information about the bottom two.

However, today he was startled by the sound of footsteps that sounded very hurriedly heading to his place.

A moment later a soldier appeared before Heilong. “Lapor, Prince. Prime Material Ji asked permission to see the Prince. He said that he brought the Titah of Demon King Zhao to the Prince.”

“Siap, Prince.”

The demon soldier immediately returned to his place to catch up with Prime Minister Ji after hearing orders from Heilong.

Ten breaths later, Prime Minister Ji finally met Heilong and instantly read the Decalogue of Demon King Zhao.

Not much interaction occurred between Heilong and Prime Minister Ji as Prime Minister Ji directly left the Prince's Palace after finishing reading the Decal from Demon King Zhao before Heilong.

Vaguely Heilong could sense from Prime Minister Ji's behavior if his presence inside this Palace was actually unwanted by some of the Palace's residents. Because, he had received cold treatment several times like this from Palace officials who came to see him for mere formality.

Did in the Underworld one's strength have a higher influence than the status of a Prince? Because, Heilong was also very sure if the news about him who had lost his cultivation had spread widely.

Heilong looked back at the King's Decree left behind by Prime Minister Ji and read it carefully again because only by reading it himself directly would he easily understand the contents of this King's Decree rather than hear from someone else.

“Devil Birth Star.”

Heilong narrowed his eyes at the three words in this King's Decree. From his sentence, he could guess that those three words were the name of a place. However, he had absolutely no information about this place and the servants had never even talked about this place.

'Is it possible that the Devil's Birth Star is a forbidden place owned by the Devil Nation?' Heilong could only mutter inwardly.

Despite feeling very curious, Heilong did not dare to ask about the Demon Birth Star to the servants around. Because, he was afraid that he would raise suspicion if he asked about the important places of the Underworld.

Moreover, the status that Heilong currently possessed should indeed know the secret places that existed in the Underworld. So, it would feel very strange if he asked the lunge of the Devil Birth Star to the servants unless those servants took the initiative to say it first.

In the King's Decree it is also mentioned that tomorrow he must immediately go to the Devil's Birth Star.
